Hotel Mesra keluarga di Dublin

We have been welcomed by Gary, he's kind, efficient and gave us a lot of precious information. The room was perfect, the common areas too. Elegant setting, comfortable beds. We are a family of 4 and the hotel is close to a Dart station, so easy to reach Dublin centre in a few minutes.

As this is my first trip to Ireland ergo Dublin, I had enjoyed the convenience of having able to walk almost everywhere I wished for shopping, sightseeing and most importantly dining. Location and rooms were their winning points and my stay was indeed almost perfect.

立地、サービス、清潔度、アメニティはとてもよかったです。ですが建物の作り自体がおそらく古く、上階の人が歩くたびにギシギシ音をたてて部屋が揺れ、夜中に度々目が覚めました。大袈裟かもしれませんが最初は地震かと思ったほどです・・廊下を人が歩いても、声や足音が聞こえます。エレベーター前の部屋はかなり煩いのではないかと思います。私の部屋はシングルのスタンダードでしたので、別のグレードのお部屋だと違うかもしれません。

Palacete antiguo remodelado que alberga la esencia de épocas pasadas, con un edificio más moderno adjunto al antiguo.Entorno tranquilo con un precioso jardín trasero y delantero manteniendo el encanto de la época. Espectacular. La única pega es la distancia al centro.

Was brought to the address by my husband on our 1st year anniversary. On arrival we where greeted and smiles and congratulations on our anniversary ❤️. We then went up to our room and where overwhelmed with it all. Flowers, Chocolates, persecco all layed out, thanks Trisha and the wonderful team for setting it up with so much attention to detail. Later that day we went down for our meal and it was delightful, from the moment of arriving we where sat and looked after. From the manager on the floor to Tais the lovely waitress which helped with recommendations of what to have. We could not of asked for a better get away thank you all so much and can't wait to see you all very soon.

The hotel was nice but lacked essential things like gum and swimming pool to make it excellent otherwise very good hospitality

I have stayed at 4 or 5 hotels in my various trips to Ireland. I even stayed at a 5 star resort the last time I traveled here and I will say hands down the room at the Alex was by far the nicest room I have stayed in. It's not directly in the town center but it's just a 10 min walk away and one I didn't mind based on the quality of the room. My only wish was that it had a pool. There is a work out facility across the street that I never checked out so one might have been there. If I ever go back to Dublin I would definitely stay here again. They have a couple of restaurants near by both places were excellent one served the best fish in chips that I have ever had the other had a great Guinness beef pie.

Really enjoy my stay in this friendly hotel . Very comfortable and clean with excellent service and staff . Great location too . Easy access to all Dublin has to offer

Firstly can I say this is a beautiful hotel in a nice area with some really nice restaurants, breakfast was amazing and the beds where extremely comfortable, sadly the reception staff not so good, as we where checking out in the morning I realised I’d left my expensive baseball cap in the room, I raised this issue with the receptionist staff who said they would check with housekeeping, when we arrived back later that evening I raised the issue again, he checked the draw behind reception and there was nothing in there, he then said he would check with housekeeping again and get back to me tomorrow which he didn’t, I had to contact yourselves to be told the day after that nothing had been handed in, I’m very disappointed to say the least as I thought my personal possessions would be safe in my room, all I can say is don’t leave anything in your room

It pains me to write this review. I was booked at the Westbury for one night before heading to Galway to present a paper at an international legal conference. Unfortunately, my bags had been left in Perth, Western Australia en route to London because damage to the tarmac necessitated less weight in the aircraft. Anyway, I was very anxious to get my bags back and enquired with the university as to whether it would be better to stay in Dublin another night to ensure I got the bag quickly rather than it having to be transported to the West Coast of Ireland. They agreed and went about getting approval for booking another night at the Westbury. The quote for the extra night was eyewatering (the rooms are quite nice but really…?) and I thought it was ridiculous. I said not to bother, and I would just head straight to Galway after the night in Dublin. I received notification the next morning that, unfortunately, the confirmation for the extra night had gone through overnight and to check with the desk about whether the booking has been confirmed or not. I should mention at this point that once made the booking was nonrefundable. I phoned the front desk from my room immediately and was told the booking had been confirmed overnight and that the room was booked for another night. My hotel in Galway was then notified that I would not arrive until the next day. I had a nice extra day in Dublin until mid afternoon when everything went pear shaped. I returned to the hotel and discovered I was locked out of my room. I didn’t think much of it at the time as these things happen. The front desk was busy, so I just took myself into a quiet area to have a cup of tea. I then received a call from one of the managers asking to speak to me in person. I thought it was a little strange, but I said I was in the hotel and would come across to reception to meet him. Anyway, in so many words I was accused of trying to overstay. I was terribly upset. He said that the booking had been cancelled overnight (the university had tried to cancel it, but it had already been confirmed as I was informed in my conversation with the desk earlier in the day) He said it had actually been cancelled. I showed him all the emails particularly the email regarding the confirmation and the request to contact the desk to see if we could do anything. Unfortunately, the conversation with the desk was the only thing that wasn’t reduced to writing. I felt he was of the view I was being untruthful about this. The hotel had my corporate card on file, so obviously there was no issue with payment for the room. I reminded him of this. He then said they needed the room as the hotel was full. I realised then they wanted me out. I was clearly upset, but I said I could leave and go to Galway that night. He went and checked the train time table. He said one left in a bit over half an hour and could I pack up for that? I said yes, as I didn’t feel I had any choice and felt completely humiliated.
