AAlexIt was a great stay overall. The location was perfect. It was near the center of Dublin. But was set in a quiet neighborhood just outside it. It is a doable walk to a park set along the water. I loved the Medieval Theme. The staff was friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. The dual shower heads are a nice setup. .Request a view of the front of the hotel. The only potential negative is the distance from the airport and the train.

PPengguna TetamuAfter I had made my booking I realised I didn’t have breakfast included as was suggested on my booking information I contacted the Conrad hotel and was told if I added breakfast for two on then it would be €25 each if I left it until I booked in to add breakfast it would cost €30 each so I obviously booked it for €25 each but when I finally booked in to the hotel I met a very condescending receptionist who informed me that they don’t do discounts and breakfast was €30 when i explained that it was not a discount she continued to tell me they don’t do discounts and eventually said she would ask her manager and came back with the same information to me at this point I was so embarrassed that I agreed to pay €30 each but when she finally put the booking through it wasn't accepted which at that point another receptionist came to check the computer and could see quite clearly that I had my breakfast booked for €25 and told the other receptionist that it was clearly signed by an appropriate manager so eventually I got booked in but the breakfast I felt was very disappointing as it was the first time ever I was asked to pay €9 extra for anything extra from the breakfast alacart menu which meant if I just wanted poached eggs I had to pay €25 plus €9 I was not impressed the whole issue with the payment for breakfast while trying to book into the hotel and then realising that you had to pay extra for what’s normally on a breakfast menu anyway. No i certainly wouldn’t be going back to the Conrad or recommending it

PPengguna TetamuWe arrived around 5.30pm and stayed only one night. The welcome drink was a nice touch but however in the morning there was lots of banging next door to our room. My husband was up all night with a cold so we hadn’t slept much. When we walked out of our room at 9.30 am to have breakfast the cleaners were sitting in armchairs with their vacuums and cleaning g products. It felt like they were waiting for us to go. When we returned to our room to pack up ( check out is 12) there was a knock at our door at 11.30 by cleaners. It felt like a lot of pressure for us to get out and no privacy as they were siting outside.
The staff at breakfast hovered and were on top of us and asked us to order straight away before we even read the menu. The wait for the food was long and my eggs were cold when they came out.
There is no lift to our floor so passing the cleaners sitting in armchairs we also passed cleaners sitting on the stairs. The whole experience felt unwelcoming and not private.
The hotel it self is well located and beautiful interiors but wouldn’t stay there again. We have stayed at a lot of boutique and 5 star hotels all over the world and this was just average.

YYOLO Dream BigThe staff are friendly and helpful. Services are nice with quick responses, but the room is a bit dark. Nearby areas are quite safe and quiet. It’s a good place to stay if you don’t mind travelling a bit from the city centre.

TTeacherTravelTimesI decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked.
Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance.
The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre.
Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well.
Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home.
The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want.
Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!

NNatalia ConstandinouWe were greeted by friendly staff member when we got there ( dark haired lady) who said it was too early to check in but we could leave our bags with her and she said to try around 2pm as we got there just after 1pm due to an early morning flight.
The room was very clean and spacious, exactly as it looked in the photos advertised and the apartment was definitely soundproof.
The location was easy to find and walking distance to the city centre.
We didn't have any issues during our stay apart from the room was a little too warm and the air con system didn't blow out much cold air.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend or visit again !

Easy access to Holiday Blue carpark.

PPengguna TetamuThe Bonnington is usually my go to hotel in dublin, however the stay before this and now this stay has made me look for somewhere else in future. The staff as always were exceptional, however our room was incorrectly rang my reception at 5am, (and on a previous stay we were awoken in the middle of the night by a false fire alarm, so a full nights sleep is not a guarantee).
What was the most frustrating is the general disrepair of the hotel. The rooms are fairly small so for the higher price point you are really paying for the facilities. The smaller issues like furniture being old and leather chairs peeling and flaking were not a big problem, just a mild annoyance. However the bath/shower leaking everywhere when used from the base of the tub and leaving the floor soaking wet, the steam room being out of order and us not being informed of this when or even after booking, and the crowdedness and of the pool and other facilities because of non hotel users with memberships to the leisure clubs taking up the whole hot tub and sauna at once in personal groups was frustrating.
The room was also extremely hot, and the AC very very loud while not actually doing much to cool the room. There was nothing particularly stay ruining about it however if you’re paying over 200 euro for one night somewhere you would expect things to be at least average.
The main redemption was the friendliness and kindness of the staff.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaOur stay at Staycity Tivoli was disappointing in several respects. Although the apartment itself was spacious, it felt very cold and uncomfortable. Laundry facilities required an extra charge and were difficult to use, which made things inconvenient. The property also held on to our credit, which was not clearly explained.
Breakfast was very poor value – almost €17 per person for food that was far below standard. We ended up cooking for ourselves in the apartment instead. Overall, despite the larger room size, the lack of warmth, poor services, and overpriced breakfast meant the stay did not live up to expectations.
