Google Maps brought us to wrong place. Be careful! Hotel is good location. Much bigger than what it looks from outside.
Parking is limited and requires extra payment. We could not parked onsite and was directed to park at another nearby APEX hotel.
We love the rubber ducky!

Welcoming staff at reception and very smooth checkin and checkout process. Our one night stay at Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel was excellent. Due to early morning departure, we didn’t have breakfast.

We didn’t have hot water for 2 days , we are waiting for 50% refund as a compensation, as 2 night a cold shower cause terrible flu for my wife

Although we immediately took the measures to address the problem, the reality was that we were not able to fix it right away. We acknowledge that we exceptionally failed to provide this basic service to one of the rooms, therefore those nights were fully refunded (50% as promised to you during your stay). We understand the frustration regarding the time it might have taken for the refund to be shown in your account, but sadly it did not depend on us, as it was not paid directly to us: we informed the 3rd party you booked through, which promptly confirmed the refund process, but that its process might take a while (we trust that you were kept informed at all times).Additionally, we would like to note that during your stay with us, we extended an additional gesture of goodwill by offering complimentary breakfast for the duration of your stay for both rooms. Love the brand of shampoo and shower gel, the hotel is overall good with view of the castle, just that we were accidentally charged twice, but the staff are nice

Located in the old town. I booked a double room but due to double booking the hotel agent upgraded me to a king suite with a view of the castle, Great start to my Edinburgh trip. Highly recommend this hotel.
