Hotel berhampiran Peoples Jewellers, Edmonton

Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. I had arrived earlier than expected and I was able to check in right away. The King room had a great view of downtown Edmonton. I enjoyed the business lounge access with evening aperitifs, the view of the city from the lounge and it was amazing to watch the sunset in the evening. Having breakfast included in my room rates was a great addition to the booking as it was convenient for me. You can also watch the sunrise if you get to the lounge early enough to get a seat by the window while having your breakfast there.

The staff at Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown Edmonton truly care about each aspect of their facility. I observed pride taken in cleanliness, hospitality and care. While we were here, we experienced something that could have happened anywhere in the world. This was not something the Comfort Inn could have prevented. Its' one of those things that happens in our modern work of technology. The staff worked fast to get my child and I help. They did not waste time and called for emergency assistance. When the incident concluded; each staff from check in, to breakfast, to cleaning were so compassionate and gracious with our state of trauma. We stayed at the hotel for the duration of the stay as I was more confident than ever this Hotel was the right choice. If you was a great, clean, hospitable stay while in Edmonton; you will want to be here at the Comfort Inn and Suites Downtown Edmonton. The hotel looks really nice and luxurious. Employees were cheerful and welcoming! There are some notes on the room cleanliness, but in general it was a nice stay!

Tub is built for small people, bathroom vanity for giants. The tub is pint-sized, about a foot high. I’m five feet tall and just fit. Tried to make the most of what amounted to soaking in a puddle, but couldn’t even do that as the plug wouldn’t hold water. Asked at the front desk right away about a room with an adult sized tub and was told all rooms were the same. Staff acted like they could care less. Bathroom vanity counter was higher than normal, by quite a bit, so even washing my face was a challenge, again, from a five-footer. The bathroom mirror was mounted another foot above that, so I was glad to see a wall mirror by the window which I was able to use for makeup application. The next day tried the shower which wasn’t much better, very low water pressure. I’m guessing this is an older hotel that was somewhat updated. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay. Air con worked well. I like to be a bit pampered when staying at a hotel, and this was not that. At the very least, a nice soak at the end of the day isn’t too much to ask. Won’t be back. Too much money for a low end hotel.

I liked the room that it had a tub in the bathroom and microwave and fridge as well. Very convenient for me. Breakfast was self serve with choices of cold and hot drinks, lots of fruits, yogurt in the fridge, cereals and choices of bread with a toaster at the end of the counter. The dining room area is large and sunny. Relaxing atmosphere. The checkin counter person was very helpful and at check out took the time to help me find my Wyndham membership account so I could earn my credit for staying there. Very pleasant experience over all.

February 2023 Stayed two nights on a weekend with two children. We had a room on the top floor with two queen beds. The room seemed small compared to other hotels in Edmonton I have stayed at recently. The frame on the bed stuck out past the mattress and we bumped our knees againsts it several times when walking by. The elevators made me feel uneasy, as you stepped in they had a small bounce to them. I did not like riding in them at all and there was a sign in them warning not to jump because it could disrupt them, well we certainly did not jump and just stepping in to them caused the bounce. The pool is open until 11pm which is nice, we waited until around 10:30pm each night to enjoy the last half hour when it wasn't full of screaming kids. Pool noise is understandable but the way kids were allowed to scream and holler was enough to make my own kids not want to be in there. By the looks of it there were a few sports teams staying at this time making the pool area busy with kids. We opted to pay the extra during booking to have breakfast included. It was good and quite a bit of made to order items along with cold cereals, fruit, juice ect. There is an area in the lobby that has free coffee to go as well. Breakfast hours on the weekend were 7-11, we had an event that we had to leave early for which rushed breakfast a bit. Weekdays it starts at 6am and I wish that it would have started at that time on the weekend as well. There was some confusion over whether or not my 15 old had her breakfast included with my booking, the person working in that area said it was included for kids 12 and under and I would have to pay extra because she was over 12. I told her I booked it and paid for it in my booking which showed 18+ being an adult on the website and added my 2 kids to my booking with the breakfast and it showed in the booking that breakfast was included for each adult and child. She spoke to the front desk and said it was ok after talking to them, but why I would even have to go through that process to begin with was very embarrassing and frustrating when we were already on a time crunch. There was plenty of parking in the lot. Located within about 10 minutes or less to West Edmonton Mall and several restaraunts nearby. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly but nothing about it gave me that wow feeling or like I would want to return and I spend many weekends in Edmonton for my childs events.

This property is very well managed with a high attention to detail by the manager. The staff is very friendly and remember you from previous visits. Breakfast area is large with a large array of breakfast items. Staff is attentive! Rooms are clean, spacious, well appointed. There is lots of restaurants and shopping close by. I will be rebooking at the Quality Inn Edmonton West on my next visit.

Excellent service lors de notre séjour! Chambre conforme à la description, matelas confortables, tout était propre. Petit-déjeuner compris et varié (repas chaud) avec un personnel très sympathique et surtout très attentionné! Stationnement facile, près de tout. Vraiment, difficile d’avoir mieux à ce prix!

The place was sparkling cleaned, the linens smells freshly washed, the breakfast had a variety of choices and most specially the Filipina staff was so friendly and accommodating. We checked in at around 7-7:30pm.

Great hotel, good breakfast, super clean and they provide housekeeping everyday. The elevators feel like they need to be serviced, rattling and shake. The pool- absolutely disgusting. The Friday night it looked like sludge, Saturday it was closed for a period of time then re opened. The chlorine burned all the kids skin so bad they all had a rash.
