Sanse Boutique Hotel

Service at Sanse is wonderful, reception and housekeeping staff are always lovely and very helpful. They accommodated early check in for us and were really helpful in finding medical help when my friend was unwell. Tours can be booked at reception, though must be paid in cash. Breakfast has a variety of options and just needs to be ordered the evening prior.

Stunning hotel and lovely people who run it. Perfect location. The only issue we had was the dampness in our room (room number 2). The breakfast is great, we would prefer having somewhere to eat outside of the room instead of room service in the morning, but that’s a personal preference. The breakfast was also still on our bed after a full day which was not ideal.

Good hotel, recommend if you want to be in the town Center with a good price/quality.

Right from the moment of arrival, the atmosphere was funny when the hotel sign was visible, but there was no sense of which hole to get there. Well, the answer is that behind and to the side of the goods store, we found the reception, where the keys and the steep stairs to the second floor smoothly lead to the room. The room is refreshingly different. Lounge and shower downstairs, sleeping upstairs. The mattresses for sleeping upstairs were comfortable with the pillows. The quiet Air Heat Pump kept the temperature suitable and did not disturb. Of course, every night's events or the bar's music could be heard very clearly in the room. There weren't many hours of real fun sleeping. Of course, the disturbance depends on your own tolerance, but with earplugs you couldn't completely get away from it. The space downstairs was comfortable and the bed or daybed was comfortable. The bathroom otherwise works, but the shower is unfortunate. If the water had come a little slower, it wouldn't have been able to climb out of the nozzle. Also, the water was cool. Otherwise, the toilet is ok, the faucet in the sink is ok and the water is good and warm. In any case, due to the beauty of the room and the location of the hotel, the rating is well over plus. In addition, breakfast was brought to the room, it was good and tasty. There were many breakfast options available. Regarding security, something could be done to the door locks. In addition to the room key, you could get in with the scooter key, and you probably could have gotten in with an ice cream stick as well...

I stayed here for 2 nights with my partner (room number 3) Staff: People at the reception are friendly and kind. Their English is good, easy to communicate. Room: There was a review about room number 3 being mouldy, it looks like it is all fixed. Freshly painted walls, well decorated room, the room and the bedding are clean. The air-conditioning works so well and the room stays cool during the day. The bed is comfortable and big. Breakfast: You let them know a day before what you wish to eat that is on their breakfast menu and they bring it to your room. It is not what exactly you see on the picture or what is on the description. For example it says sourdough bread but they bring a small regular white bread. Location: It is in central so everywhere is easy to get to. You must try the Oppa Korein restaurant opposite, we had all our dinners there even got a take away lunch to eat on the bus. I heard the music around 12pm when I woke up but is wasn't loud enough at all and I fell asleep straight away. Their tour services: We used their private boat tour ( Tour A - 9,500php). They picked us up and dropped back to the hotel. It was good but not exceptional, we were 30 minutes late because we had to wait for the food. We only wanted to see the lagoons so we told them we don't want the see the beaches. They took us to Ipil beach end of the tour where giant pink jelly fish in the water and on the beach, they were absolutely everywhere and that was our snorkelling stop!? We went to the beach to take pictures of the jelly fish and got back to the boat, that was and interesting choice to take us there in the first place 😅 I guess they wanted to go back home, no one swims in that water. Generally look out for jellyfish around the islands and around the lagoons.
