Booked a ”dorm” room which is basically a private room. The hotel is located at vanilla beach which is a very nice beach to swim and tan. The Town is a bit far away but doable by tricycle or scooter. The view is amazing and the lobby is also a nice place to sit around. Special thanks to the employees who were so nice and helpfull. Liked it so much i extended my stay there.
The only downside was that there is no hot water in the room but its not cold either. And lots of mosquitos at night.

The location is good and their facilities is awesome. However, i felt disappointed to the smell of the lobby it smells off and feels like dirty because there’s a lot of flies flying everywhere & I don’t know why. Also the cushions and set also in the main lobby looks dirty. This is the first impression of mine thinking that this is one of the luxury resorts in El nido. It would be appreciated if their lobby is clean and smells nice because as a guest this would be there’s first impression upon entering in the hotel.

A real mixed bag here, the location is good and the rooms are large, clean, beds comfortable and the ac works well. The staff are friendly. Those are the positives. The food, breakfast in particular is atrocious for a hotel in this price range the restaurant staff idle about playing on their phones. The rooms were cleaned very late in the day on several occasions. The internet is weak from the rooms.Whilst the front desk staff are friendly they are pretty clueless and on wanting to escalate certain issues I am told that the management are based in Puerto Princessa. With good management and a complete overhaul of the menu and some internet boosters this could be a great hotel.

Stayed here for four nights, and the pluses are the central location, the absolutely wonderful staff, big bed and strong AC. The rooms itself were also decent. A few huge let downs: The bathroom is absolutely filthy and I'm including some pictures here. The sink board is rotting off and there is mould everywhere. Really didn't want to use this bathroom and was one reason we wanted to cancel our full booking. The breakfast is quite a let down. Food is old and stale. One of the guests found a worm in one of the buns (okay, maybe a milk worm) but then we also saw a cockroach running around by the bread station. If you are staying here over a Saturday and if you're facing the road, you are going to find it difficult to sleep. The Kaws theme is also a weird one, the whole hotel is Kaws themed. The hotel is near a beach but it's not swimmbale. The hotel also seems to have a public notice from the government for improper sewer water discharge? This is posted at the front of the hotel. Amazing staff, but I wouldn't stay here again. Another weird point is that staff take copies of your passport visas. I don't see why they need to do this as they just need the ID page.

I understand why reviews of this hotel are so mixed. I first stayed in the newer part - a beautiful room on the 3rd floor, overlooking the beach. The room was clean, new and sparkling. There was a modern key card lock system, a fabulous bathroom and great views. Then, I was transferred to a room in the older section. Here, the bathroom had only a hand held shower head, the grout was discolored and the water didn't drain well, leaving me standing in a puddle while using the sink. The wood furniture and floor was scuffed and worn. The door lock used a key and was a bit flimsy. That said, it had a balcony overlooking the beach that offered the same great views. Avoid the first floor, as others have said, because people walk by on the way to breakfast and there is little privacy. El Nido beach is very busy, with walkers, vendors, even motorcycles, so be sure to get a higher floor.

El nido, Palawan is one of the tourist spots visited in the Philippines. With that being said my Family decided to go on a vacation in this place. The moment we arrived in Puerto Princesa airport it was exhilarating imagining what more there is when we arrive in El Nido. From there we had a roundtrip airport shuttle provided for a surcharge which is available upon request. We stayed in El Nido Garden Resort hotel for four nights and we had the best experience. The place was spacious and immaculate, the staff were accommodating, the food was amazing and the view was breathtaking. Outside you can take a stroll and or swim even at night since they have a swimming pool. You can do recreational activities there and wrap it up with a drink at their mini lounge/bar. Their location is very accessible to many Beaches if you wanted to visit some such as Lio and Nacpan. At night you can also come to restaurants around the area but I assure you the foods in this hotel are enough to satisfy your tongue. They are open at 7-9 AM, your hunger will surely be gone. They have big air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen televisions each. Every room has private balconies and you can even hang your damp clothes there! Private bathrooms have showers complimented with toiletries and hair dryers. You can make yourself at home there and relax while taking some time off.

El desayuno terrible. No vale la pena pagar tanto si lo estan escogiendo por el desayuno.
Todas las mañanas todo estaba vacío y tenias que golpear en la cocina para pedirles por favor huevos, manteca, pancakes, etc. la predisposición de los empleados muy mala.
La limpieza medio pelo. Las toallas las doblaban y te ponian las mismas. Nos quedamos sin gelshower y shampoo y nunca se repuso.

El hotel esta nuevo la habitación muy hermosa. Buena ducha.

The facility itself is nice but for the my version of a 5 star rating the resort would need to meet the standard of Peninsula Tokyo or the Park Hyatt in Kyoto. Unfortunately the facility doesn’t not meet that standard. What will make up for the lack of the amenities, cleanliness and attention to detail is the service provider. From the front desk to the waiter and waitress, to the cleaning Male/ladies, the service staff will go above and beyond to meet your needs. Last draw back is the sand flies (nik nik as the locals refer to them) are pesky little suckers….literally which makes one hesitant to enjoy the beautiful beach on the resort…which then leads to you missing the beautiful sunrise and sunset that one would expect in paradise. Over all, yes i would gladly return to this facility. It is probably the best on the island but I cannot on good conscience say the this is a 5star resort.

We’ve just finished a 6 night stay at El Nido Resorts Pangulasian. Every moment of it was absolute heaven. Spacious villas, luxurious pool and spectacular views no matter where you look. Complimentary activities were well thought through and timed to perfection to make sure we missed the crowds at busy locations like the lagoons. I also did 2 scuba dives with their resident Divemaster and was lucky enough to see some sea turtles. I’ve also spent hours snorkelling on their house reef where there was lots of tropical fish to see, also some rays. They have some resident monitor lizards and monkeys which was great to see. All in all a fantastic stay, I would highly recommend.

AAlma CMy husband and I celebrated our second year anniversary at Cauayan. We considered other resorts but we have definitely made the right choice. The island is just breathtaking! We were greeted with a warm welcome by the hotel staff and were escorted to our beautiful villa. My husband arranged a private tour of El Nido islands, where we ended up visiting about 7 spots with our guide even acting as our photographer (he took fantastic photos and videos too). In terms of food, the buffet breakfast offered a wide array of food selection. For lunch / dinner, we enjoyed all that we ordered (though some are really very spicy, so take note). The bar staff can concoct amazing drinks as per your mood & whim. I particularly enjoyed the spa and wished I booked a much longer massage. Our stay at the island became so much more meaningful when we witnessed hawksbill sea turtles being released to the ocean….As amazing as all these are, the best part of our stay in Cauayan is the friendly and customer focused staff. They prioritize the customers’ needs, always have a smile on their faces and have just made our stay in El Nido a memorable one. Thank you Cauayan and we will surely return for another amazing experience at your island!

PPengguna TetamuAn excellent hotel in the heart of El Nido town proper. It is in a chaotic area but the hotel itself is well managed and calm once you get off the street! On reflection I probably would have stayed further out of the town but that's not a comment on the hotel itself.
The hotel breakfast is great, even if you're not vegetarian or vegan which I'm not. The rooms are a good size, not to small and had balconies which is good for drying clothes.
Reception and all the staff are lovely but I'm marking down the hotel slightly due to communication. When we got to the hotel by public tricycle they seemed surprised I hadn't gone with their free hotel transfer yet I couldn't see this option anywhere on trip when booking and they hadn't attempted to contact me. Perhaps that could be improved. On the communication front it seems they have some perks which they don't advertise at all. I discovered when visiting the Heiroglyph gym by vanilla beach that access is free if you're staying at H Hotel which is a superb perk but they don't advertise it at all! Apparently they also have a sister hotel near nacpan Beach where you can use the pool.
Overall it's a very good hotel. I think it's a bit expensive but then again hotels in Philippines are generally overpriced so in that sense the price is fine.

The staff are super friendly and nice although the service of the hotel could be more attentive i.e when lying on the beach you don’t get asked if you want drinks. Room cleaning was only done once in our 7 day stay and only because we asked for it. Towels are not automatically offered to beach goers all the time.
The restaurant is pretty slow with almost an hour for food to arrive sometimes. The food itself can be nice depending on what you order. Some is pretty good actually…others a bit average.
Pricewise, this isn’t a cheap hotel and I feel that if you compare the price to resorts in other tropical beach locations around the world, you get much better service in other places like Sheratons, Marriotts and Hiltons etc. that said, overall I would still recommend Matinloc for the great beach and reef.

LLenamakkarenaFloresitas besticht mit einer ruhigen Lage direkt am Meer. Wer ein paar Tage abschalten und sich aufs Wesentliche fokussieren möchte, ist hier genau richtig (wenn nebenan nicht gerade gebaut wird oder der Generator läuft - was beides völlig auszuhalten war). In einer der Blockhütten (ohne AC) oder (in unserem Fall) Zimmer mit Klimaanlage ist das nötigste vorhanden: ein bequemes Bett und kleines Bad mit Dusche und WC. Unser Zimmer war verhältnismäßig sauber, warum die Spiegel auf den Philippinen scheinbar nie gesäubert werden, verstehe ich nicht. Außerdem ist das Wasser aus der Leitung eher bräunlich, zum Waschen nicht empfohlen. Direkt vor der Tür des Zimmers: weißer, feiner Sand, der sich vom Meer über die ganze Anlage zieht. Viele Hängematten und Sitzgelegenheiten laden zum Verweilen ein. Das WLAN war auf der gesamten Anlage das Beste, das wir seit unserer Ankunft auf den Philippinen hatten. Das Essen war auch wirklich sehr sehr lecker - Gemma gibt sich viel Mühe, die Wünsche ihrer Gäste zu erfüllen. À propos Gäste: auch hier hat man eher seine Ruhe - wir waren scheinbar an zwei von drei Nächten (übers Wochenende) die Einzigen in der Anlage. Man kann aber Einiges unternehmen: günstig ein Kajak im Resort mieten und selbst die Umgebung erkunden, schnorcheln, Firefly Watching von einem weiteren Resort aus ein paar 100 Meter entfernt, oder einen privaten Bootsausflug über Ursulas Resort (Nachbarresort) buchen. Die Gastgeber versuchen auch, so gut es geht weiterzuhelfen, aber manchmal scheiterte es an der gegenseitigen Verständigung. Aber am Ende konnten wir mit ihrer Hilfe wieder direkt vor der Haustür mit dem Van abgeholt werden.
Alles in Allem empfanden wir den Preis etwas zu hoch für die einfachen Verhältnisse und die abgelegene (außerhalb allen Tourismus-Trubels) Lage. Aber uns hat es trotzdem sehr gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

На кухне есть чай, кофе, холодильник . Хозяйка заботливая , приятная, делает недорогие завтраки . За такие деньги в Порту Эльнидо трудно найти в основном каморки маленькие. Тут номер квадратов 25 точно , есть барная стойка в номере, нет насекомых. На двери и на окнах москитный сетки. Из минусов слабый напор воды иногда отключают. Но быстро дают .я думаю так почти везде

AAl AThis is my first time to Palawan and have always wanted to visit here. It's about a 3 hour drive from Puerto Princesa, but very convenient to El Nido Proper. My friend booked this hotel and hotel rates for 4 nights were unbelievably inexpensive! Prior to this trip, I came in blind with no research into what was in store for this new experience. I came in completely blind and just went with the flow. Upon checking in, I'm blown away with how close this resort is to the beach. It's a completely beach style resort type of hotel with a variety of rooms, Bungalows, and different types of rooms depending on how many people are in the group. Hotel Amenities include swimming pool, no Fitness Center, complimentary breakfast at the pool side restaurant, 24/7 front desk with concierge service for booking activities, a gift shops and private beach access. The room my friend booked was a Bungalow. Room was furnished with a King Size Bed, air conditioning, in-room safe, single bathroom, mini refrigerator with a ton of ala carte alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. There's also outdoor lanai seating area with a cold water whirlpool which I thought was a jacuzzi, complimentary WiFi, plenty of closet space, and the most important item is an electronic big zapper! Hospitality service is excellent. Spa features services which me and my friends enjoyed after a day of excursion. I didn't mind that our massages were in an open-air lanai, while the bugs weren't bothering me, they were biting others in my group lol.

Dolarog, a true pet-friendly resort! The resort in itself is superb! It’s like a hidden gem of El Nido and the greatest thing about it is it’s truly a pet-friendly haven! What I like about it is that it’s still in the main island but gives off that exclusive feels. We stayed for 8 days in total at the beachfront villa called Lagen which is a few meters from the beach overlooking their jetti way and that awe-inspiring giant limestone directly in front of our villa. Getting to the resort is other via speedboat or their private access road from Vanilla Beach using a golf car. You know that you’ll have an excellent stay when the owner, Mr. Edu picks you up(or sometimes the son) from Vanilla beach for a more personal touch. How hospitable right? He also has a selection of Italian wines from his cellar as he is Italian, I had Chianti btw over dinner with the beach, stars and the moon as our backdrop. Truly magical! The rooms are always kept clean by the staff who are also very friendly. The main Receptionist, Tata is attentive and very pleasant not to mention very informative. I would take her as my head of staff if only I could! She knows her products and knows when to recommend it, the type of staff who is not in your face all the time to promote an offer. I must say she is one of the nicest resort staff I ever come across with. Food is relatively good. Home cooked and unpretentious. As with any advice when you go to a limited supply area such as El Nido, don’t get your expectations too high on having a western dish so much because obviously, you will have some issues so I only ordered I know locally sourced here like seafood or their filipino dishes like the menudo and chicken curry which are my faves! Filipino breakfast is good. You might wanna carry spare powerbanks as the resort rely on their own generator for electric supply. From 6am-9am and 12noon-6pm there is no electric power. Also, TV is not available (not sure abt other rooms though) but who needs a TV anyway? It’s not like you chose to go to El Nido and sit all day on Netflix and stay indoors duh! I rented a motorbike for 500/day basis and this really helped me in exploring or going out of the resort but the resort offers complimentary shuttle via their golf car to Vanilla beach for free but I wanted to leave and come back on my own time. This is also a 20 minutes walk to Maremegmeg beach by beachside access. Tricycle ride cost between 150 going to town from Vanilla beach btw. Overall our experience is a great 4.5/5 with .5 leaving for improvement on the land access before the Dolarog gate. Also, I’m pretty confident even without any advertisement or active social media promotion, the resort will do just good but let me tell when I posted 1 picture of Dolarog on my socmed, people flocked my DM to ask if I was in another country. PPengguna TetamuI had very nice stay in Ashok homestay honestly because of the owner. My stay was in February 2017 during valentine week. The hotel is at the center of the city, accessible to restaurants, clubs and beach. The location of the hotel is just perfect even during late evening. The room is clean, bathroom is clean. The wifi is weaker inside the room but very good at the lobby. I have no complaints during my stay. The owner of the property is kind, humble, approachable, helpful and smiling face nice guy. He is always ready to help in suggesting restaurants, beach, shopping areas. He even offered us to cook breakfast (bread omelette) in his kitchen which was a kind gesture often not found. He was flexible with checkin-checkout time. I would highly recommend Ashok homestay for the best beachy exploration and a cost effective vacation.
