Hotel Mesra Haiwan Peliharaan di El Nido

We left on a bad note and so our review will start on a bad note! All this place cares about is soaking you for every cent your worth without regard to your happiness. Billing meals and drinks uses a system devised in the 17th century utilizing carbon paper, a pen, and pad. No computers. How could things go wrong? On our final day we received a call from the front desk confirming our early morning transport to the airport which we had already arranged and confirmed twice. We were quoted $44 for private transport to the airport at 5 am which was already way too much for the 15-minute 4.3-mile journey. Our flight left at 7 am so I was a little confused why the resort wanted to leave so early. To add to the confusion, we were quoted $26 for a private airport transfer earlier that week. So, during the phone call we confirmed the price which now was quoted at $61! I balked at this and was requoted at $53 than again at $61. I now proceeded to the front desk to find out what is going on and talked to the manager. She showed me the pricing and indeed, if you had private transport to the airport before 5 am the cost was $61. At 5 am and after, the price was $53. However, my transport was at 5 am so it should be $53. She did not agree. So I arranged for 5:15 am and she reluctantly charged us our original quote of $44. Ok, all is well now. However, I believe that the resort wanted us to leave early for the airport in order to charge us more money. We ate dinner and we had two bottles of water. We settled our tab at 8 pm due to our early departure the next day. During the settlement, I pointed out that the restaurant had not billed us for the two bottles of water, however the desk person said that they were included and pointed them out on the tab. Great all is well! At 10:30 pm while sleeping our phone rings and the same desk person says “I know your sleeping but could you come down and pay for two bottles of water which were not billed?” ***! I said no (I was so mad I actually cursed on the phone) and said I would pay the driver in the morning. Again, I was so mad I could not get back to sleep! I cannot believe a resort would wake someone for $5 which I tried to pay earlier, particularly after spending over $2,800 on our stay. Just let it go! But the money was more important than the guest’s happiness. Our room and balcony were noisy from the main highway below and was really hot and unusable in the afternoon because the sad little AC could not keep up with the direct sunlight from the balcony even with the curtains closed. No shade at the pool. The resort is super steep so if you have any mobility issues, don’t stay here. Can’t walk to town because of how steep the road is. Housekeeping locked us out twice and confiscated our key. We had to ask for coffee in our room every morning. The hardest bed ever (ouch). This restaurant is above and beyond! Mark helped us throughout the evening and he was amazing! Knowledgeable and patient. This birthday dinner went above and beyond from the car service, the music, and Mark!! If I ever visit El Nido again I will definitely be back! There are not enough words to describe the atmosphere experience with the tastiest drinks and food!

My friends and I rented two of the villas each with a private pool. We had #1 and 2. 1 being the highest one up the hill. The view from the lounging terrace was spectacular In villa 1. The room itself was adequate. An L shaped open plan room with the bed tucked in the top of the L. It was against 2 walls and a tight passage on the only open side. There were no outlets near the bed. The bathroom was of good size. And was a wet shower set up. As is common elsewhere in the Philippines. What you wipe with goes in a bin on the side Villa 2 had a much more convenient square layout. Our friends were not sharing a bed, so we had the staff bring up an extra mattress to lay on the floor in front of the window. Both pools were very nice. Villa 1 pool had a waterfall. There was an issue with A bunch of kids getting into both pools while we were out. We came back to find them and politely shooed them away. Rumor was they were friends/family of the owners The big word of caution is what most other reviews have called out about the steep hill side and steps up to the villas. It was 100+ steps to Villa one. It became a challenge After a few days some Our less than fit in the group. For that reason alone, we should should've booked something in town on flatter ground The breakfast served was adequate. Be aware you must order the food the day before The staff was very helpful. They carried our luggage up. And down at our 430a departure I give this place 5 stars because of the views, the staff, affordable prices for a private pool. I wouldn't stay again because of the steps

Booked a ”dorm” room which is basically a private room. The hotel is located at vanilla beach which is a very nice beach to swim and tan. The Town is a bit far away but doable by tricycle or scooter. The view is amazing and the lobby is also a nice place to sit around. Special thanks to the employees who were so nice and helpfull. Liked it so much i extended my stay there. The only downside was that there is no hot water in the room but its not cold either. And lots of mosquitos at night.

We arrived at this hotel after we cancelled a more expensive, horrendous hotel further up the road. There is nothing bad about this place... Its perfect! The rooms are clean, light and airy.. The bed is comfy and the deck area is stunning... You are literally on the beach. Everything works in it including the TV and Ac. The breakfast is good... I just wish they would add pancakes to the menu! The WiFi can be hit and miss but that is everywhere here so it's not a problem. There is a gorgeous resident cat and her kitten on site and as cat lovers we just loved them... Unfortunately we couldn't smuggle them home :) Overall this hotel saved my stay in el nido and turned what could have been a disaster into a dream... The staff can't do enough for you and I thank them for being so attentive. Gutted to be leaving but if you are after a comfortable, clean and happy stay ... Give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed!!

Dolarog, a true pet-friendly resort! The resort in itself is superb! It’s like a hidden gem of El Nido and the greatest thing about it is it’s truly a pet-friendly haven! What I like about it is that it’s still in the main island but gives off that exclusive feels. We stayed for 8 days in total at the beachfront villa called Lagen which is a few meters from the beach overlooking their jetti way and that awe-inspiring giant limestone directly in front of our villa. Getting to the resort is other via speedboat or their private access road from Vanilla Beach using a golf car. You know that you’ll have an excellent stay when the owner, Mr. Edu picks you up(or sometimes the son) from Vanilla beach for a more personal touch. How hospitable right? He also has a selection of Italian wines from his cellar as he is Italian, I had Chianti btw over dinner with the beach, stars and the moon as our backdrop. Truly magical! The rooms are always kept clean by the staff who are also very friendly. The main Receptionist, Tata is attentive and very pleasant not to mention very informative. I would take her as my head of staff if only I could! She knows her products and knows when to recommend it, the type of staff who is not in your face all the time to promote an offer. I must say she is one of the nicest resort staff I ever come across with. Food is relatively good. Home cooked and unpretentious. As with any advice when you go to a limited supply area such as El Nido, don’t get your expectations too high on having a western dish so much because obviously, you will have some issues so I only ordered I know locally sourced here like seafood or their filipino dishes like the menudo and chicken curry which are my faves! Filipino breakfast is good. You might wanna carry spare powerbanks as the resort rely on their own generator for electric supply. From 6am-9am and 12noon-6pm there is no electric power. Also, TV is not available (not sure abt other rooms though) but who needs a TV anyway? It’s not like you chose to go to El Nido and sit all day on Netflix and stay indoors duh! I rented a motorbike for 500/day basis and this really helped me in exploring or going out of the resort but the resort offers complimentary shuttle via their golf car to Vanilla beach for free but I wanted to leave and come back on my own time. This is also a 20 minutes walk to Maremegmeg beach by beachside access. Tricycle ride cost between 150 going to town from Vanilla beach btw. Overall our experience is a great 4.5/5 with .5 leaving for improvement on the land access before the Dolarog gate. Also, I’m pretty confident even without any advertisement or active social media promotion, the resort will do just good but let me tell when I posted 1 picture of Dolarog on my socmed, people flocked my DM to ask if I was in another country. Забронировали номер стандарт, нам дали 6 номер, но он был очень маленький, без окна и шкафа для одежды. Очень душный и стоял неприятный запах. Кондиционер был шумный. Пол очень грязный весь в песке. Так как приехали ночью, ночевали в том номере. Утром попросили поменять номер. Нам показали номера, мы выбрали номер с балконом, люкс, вид на море, но пришлось доплатить. Мы были 4 дня поэтому согласились доплатить. В номере убирались плохо, всего один раз, хотя просили убрать. Воду поставили в номер по приезду, больше не ставили, также шампунь, мыло, щётки только 1 раз по приезду положили. Полотенце не меняли не разу. Завтраки по меню , очень скудные, одно и тоже каждый день. В столовой стоит кулер с горячей и холодной водой, можно налить вечером чай. Обслуживание номера никакое. Отель для проживания на 1,2 дня. Но стоимость дороговато для такого отеля. Надолго не советую. Вид из окна красивый. Близко порт.

The place is amazing - intimate with a lot of character. Perfect for couples. We got upgraded to a better room which was beautiful and spacious (they mentioned we’re the first ones to use that room). Since the room was new, the staffs weren’t familiar of the room number/name, and we needed to keep on reminding them for make up room and change the towels, else they would forget to do it. The food was amazing too! Just wish they included coffee/tea/juice in their breakfast package. Meanwhile, there is one amazing staff called Joe. He always has a smile on his face and goes an extra mile to remember all the guests’ names, and make sure the guests are happy and comfortable.

The Greenfield Villa is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to El Nido will find that the Greenfield Villa is a fantastic accommodation choice.From the hotel, El Nido Airport is just 5km away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Philippines À la Carte, St. Francis of Assisi Parish Church and JBenito Travel & Tours ( Cadlao Resort Activities ) all nearby.After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel.

Отель расположен не на самом берегу, а на холме. Открываются замечательные виды на море в одну сторону, и на горы в другую. До моря идти не больше 10 минут. Мы жили в отдельном домике. Отель предполагает жизнь на природе: на территории очень тихо, слышны только звуки птиц, лягушек и т.д. Окна не остеклены, зато имеется москитная сетка над кроватью. Напольный кондиционер работал, но едва справлялся (в апреле в жаркий сезон). В душе вода есть не всегда, и приходят муравьи. Мы расцениваем это как плату за жизнь на природе. Персонал приветливый, помогли нам связаться с диспетчером и вызвать общественный микроавтобус к отелю для того, чтобы без пересадок добраться до Пуэрто-Принцесы.
