We stayed at Ekho Ella for 6 wonderful nights. The view of Ella Rock from the gardens is truly breathtaking with immaculately kept gardens. The staff were attentive and helpful, particularly Priyantha and Shelani who helped us to arrange a wonderful Safari trip and took very good care of us during our stay. They were knowledgable about the local area and Sri Lanka in general. With excellent connections for local drivers. The food in the restaurant was delicious with a variety of choice for breakfast and staff who paid very careful attention to service and detail. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal one night. Ella itself is vibrant and exciting with everything you need nearby. We were lucky enough to see the street festival with dancing, music and elephants one evening which we loved. It was a real treat. Overall a truly wonderful stay. We cannot recommend Ekho Ella enough. Thank you.

Overlooking Ella Gap, EKHO Ella has some incredible views from both the common property and the rooms. We were travelling as 2 couples and happened to celebrate our respective 10 year and 7 year anniversaries on the nights we stayed at EKHO Ella. This hotel did everything to make our stay so special and comfortable. We were welcomed into rooms adorned with rose petals and towel swans on the bed and the hotel Manager Priyantha arranged a delicious slice of chocolate cake for us for each room (it was one of the best cakes I've had!) The attention to detail is incredible, the service is so hospitable, it's no wonder this hotel gets such rave reviews. Priyantha arranged tuk tuks for us early in the morning, nothing was ever an issue for them. We also had amazing food and service from the restaurant with the restaurant manager Sanjeewa. He was so welcoming and looked after us well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Ella. It's only a 3min walk into the main part of Ella town. So convenient and THE BEST!

Beautiful hotel with amazing attention to detail in every respect. Room was spacious and comfortable, Breakfast look out over Ella Gap, the scenic gorge, flanked by peaks on either side. Next time we will definitely stay longer in Ella and EKHO Ella hotel.

Amazing views and outdoor area, exceptional service and food quality, presentation and service! You can see monkeys and squirrels on the mountain trees from your room which is very lovely. The smaller hotel design makes everything an ideal less than a minute walk from the room

Simply amazing, modern room with facilities with an unque look and theme of colonial trains and compartments. The views of the Ella rock from your bed, smiling staffs, local and continental food, 24/7 services…tailor made as per your wish. Just look for Priyantha, he and his team will surprise you for sure.

EKHO Ella is a lovely place to stay in Ella. The staff are all most friendly and attentive. They were always willing to oblige. The breakfast was great as were the bar snacks. The rooms were very tastefully furnished to a railway theme. We enjoyed our stay.

Boutique hotel with a beautiful view of the Ella Gap. Overall our stay was pleasant and peaceful. Our room was clean and had a railway theme. Breakfast was good with a choice of Western or Sri Lankan , cooked on demand and served at the table. I guess what stood out the most for us was the warmth and hospitality of their service staff .A special shout out to Nilakshi, Shetlani and Priyantha for your exemplary service!

Gorgeous hotel with superb views and great service. Priyantha from housekeeping was extremely helpful and kind. The Sri Lankan breakfast was very tasty! The rooms we got had fantastic views. Unfortunately there was a heavy fog blocking our view of the Ella rock for most of our stay. It did clear on our last morning though and it was breathtaking! We would definitely come again.
