Hotel Ella dengan Tempat Letak Kereta

EKHO Ella is a small luxury hotel in Ella. It has parking for personal cars and vans within the premises. However, if you are arriving in a coach or bus, you must find somewhere else to park and walk there, as their car park is too small. Unfortunately, I do not think the hotel is wheelchair accessible, as I do not recall seeing any ramps, especially at the main entrance. Due to the price range required to stay here, the ambiance is rather formal and quiet. When we visited, there was not much of a crowd, other than a few other tourists who were staying the night at the hotel. The premises and cutlery were all clean, with the overall hygiene being outstanding. Since we were only there for a short amount of time, we did not have much time with the staff, but the few we saw had nothing negative about them to note. However, the service was a bit slow, as we had to wait a bit of time due to there not being enough tea for a crowd that had already been informed to them. The tea and chocolate cake they served was great and I wish I got to have some more :) . They take both cash and card as well if I recall.

I was staying at the hotel one night, the way to the hotel is a hard and a lot of stairs. Reception looks 200 years old and furniture are teared. The room was full of mosquitoes. I woke up to a bad breakfast which contained old bread . Then went out travel when I came back to hotel at 1700, my girlfriend went to the toilet, when flashed the toilet dozens of bugs came out of it, in addition we had no hot water and even after complain wasn’t fix, and had lizards in the room. Therefore I asked to leave the hotel to a proper one. The owner didn’t agree to hear and after a long fight (more than a hour) and because of help from my local tour guide gave me back 70% of the second night which I didn’t stay, as he said due to check out time is 1200… He was super rude and have no respect to his clients. The manager tried to help but knows bad English and have to listen to his rude owner. In conclusion- worst hotel I’ve ever stay in.

I recently stayed three nights at Ella Green cottages with my soon (13) and we had a lovely experience. The cozy cottages are nestled in the heart of nature, surrounded by lush greenery, which gave it a serene and peaceful jungle atmosphere with birds and small monkeys playing around. The cottages themselves were cozy and comfortable, with the necessary amenities to make the stay comfortable. We enjoyed the delicious home-cooked breakfast each morning. Pancakes, toast, fresh fruits, omelets and various traditional Sri Lankan foods. The host was very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make os feel comfortable and ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Ella Green cottages to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat amidst nature. The cozy cottages, delicious homecooked breakfast, and warm hospitality make it an excellent choice for a memorable getaway. Pernille, Copenhagen - Denmark

I love how secluded it is from Ella center yet still walkable. Very quiet and peaceful. It’s clean and the staff are so caring and helpful.

I travel solo and I prefer quiet and peaceful places where I can't hear the noise of the city or the music from the night clubs. So Nature Nest was just perfect for me. I liked everything. The room was light and spacious, a comfortable bad, a big bathroom with hot shower and a nice balcony made my stay cozy and pleasant. And it was so nice to hear the chirping of birds outside in the morning. It took me about 10 minutes to walk down to Ella and maybe a little more to walk up. And every time the walk in the nature was nice and pleasant. Sampat and Nadeeka were really helpful, they gave me many useful tips and good advice about Ella and Sri Lanka and I just had a great time talking with them. The food they cooked was really delicious and also they were so kind to give me a cooking lesson and even a ride when I needed it. I highly recommend the Nature Nest to anyone who values comfort and calmness. And I will be glad to come back if I have such a chance.

Дружелюбные хозяйки, очень добрые и приветливые, никаких проблем не было. Балкон с прекрасным видом на достопримечательности Еллы. Единственный минус это немного грязная постель и с крыши постоянно падала что то черное и по ночам там что то бегало) но это Шри ланка, проблемы с полом и потолком здесь распространены.

We have stayed in a family room for one night on a busy long weekend & wished we could stay longer there. With the narrow approach road & parking, which is common to the Ella area, we had doubts , but the owner Mr Manjula & his staff were attentive & had solutions to the comfort of every guest with no hazzle. Food was very tasty & served on time & though the place was full we were welcome any time with good sevice even at short notice. Room with Beddings & Bath were clean & nice and had enough space. View from the room balcony of Ella rock was pleasing & with greenery around, the birds were a plenty with their songs. Though it was a short stay, with their little input from staff we could use the time well & visited the surrounding attractions & it was time well spent. All in all we really enjoyed our stay & so a big Thank you to Rock side Inn.

I arrived to this wonderfull resort after spending a week in other places in Sri Lanka. The room was very Nice, with a stunning view over the mountains in Ella. Since the resort is away from the city center, there is very Quiet here, which is great if you seek calmness and quietness. For me as a solo traveller, it was too quiet here, and too far away from the city center, although the view was simply stunning. The host Indran was so sweet and gave me a Warm welcome. He made breakfast for me everyday, with variations of juice and fruit plates. He also showed me Little Adam’s Peak, and Nine Arch bridge, and helped me taking pictures. I experienced spiders in my room, and since I dont like spiders, it was a problem. I also experienced a lot of noise from animals outside, especially from birds. During the election, I wanted to leave before I was suppose to, and the host Rochane adviced me to wait to before or after the election, so I decided to leave the hotel before the election. He was so kind to refund me for 1 night and told me that He would give the money to Indran for me, which was really kind of him.
