This is a great resort and great facilities but the problem is the culture in the naturist area. The age old story of selfish people reserving sunbeds with towels. Today I counted 34 Sunbeds with towels on that were being ‘reserved’ for the bulk of the afternoon and that is 1/3 of the available Sunbeds not being used but also rendered unusable, or so that’s the implication. Initially, and I think channelling my English reserve, I ended up sat on the floor surrounded by empty Sunbeds. Did anyone assist? No! the pool guy said nothing to do with him and the other naturists seemed unconcerned…the general atmosphere being that of a mortuary - bodies laid out in rows. I did go to reception and was advised to just clear one of the Sunbeds because in truth they cannot be reserved. When I went back to the naturist area and took a sunbed ‘by revolution’ a woman started shouting at me in French, quite nastily. It seemed I was breaking some unofficial code that doesn’t actually exist in reality but that mattered to her. I held my ground whilst the undead looked on in corporeal silence. The drama passed and the undead went back to sleep. Later I made my concern known to guest services. They said they would send someone down tomorrow to look into the situation because they agree it is not right. If nothing changes I may have to take another sunbed by revolution tomorrow! but will take my tin hat in case I am ambushed again. I do hope guest services sort this out because it’s a nice place spoiled by selfish small minded attitudes. If people didn’t hog the facilities when they don’t need them, there would be enough for everyone all of the time. People do that cringy thing of coming down before breakfast for the ‘prime’ spots. I’ve been to this hotel 7 times, I’ve paid and am entitled to use the facilities. If you visit here and find the same situation please remember that towels do not reserve a sunbed here despite what the undead think, and you are perfectly entitled to take one if you need it and want to use it…but don’t forget your tin hat!

This is a great location with fabulous sunrises and big hills that you can challenge yourself to walk up. The town of Morro Jable is about an hour's walk away and if you're looking for a supermarket (Supermercado) it's about a 20 min walk the other way.... Of course you can get a bus or taxi or visit the onsite store. This resort is fabulous for well being and fitness and the beach close by has a gentle slope into the sea, perfect for young and old alike. The staff that take the classes are lovely people that really care and their classes are the best I've attended, ever. Mario, Evelyn, Hannah and Aurora, it was lovely to meet you. The food in the main restaurant has plenty of choice and if you want something in particular they do their best to accommodate. One of the chefs, Ousman made me a gluten free pizza... Thank you.

Had a lovely relaxed week at this hotel. So much to do (even though we just came to relax) I think for a family holiday this place has everything, from infants to teens there was always something going on for the kids. We went as a couple and tried our hand at a few activities but we mostly just wanted to relax and the place was good for that too. Noone hassles you to take part, you have to use the app to book things to participate. There are so many sports, there is a separate sports pool with tennis courts, football pitch, archery pitch and volleyball pitch all in one area. Then there is the main pool, an activity pool (where you find the aqua aerobics and the foam party, which was a big hit, are held) There are numerous bars, restaurants and games rooms/arcades to keep the kids entertained. The beach is lovely, the steps are steep so be careful but once you are down there the sand is beautiful. The food is okay, plenty of choice and tasty I just felt let down that it was freezing cold, been to many, many all inclusive and iv never had the food this cold, it's usually just hot or lukewarm but this was COLD! Try eating cold soup. Gross. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard, the staff were all friendly, the shop was reasonably priced but there is a super market 10/15 min walk outside the front of the hotel. All in all a nice hotel that I would recommend to families, maybe wouldn't come back as a couple.

Lovely hotel. Lots of entertainment and sports facilities. Good choice of pools. Food was great, often serving steak, roast pork, pork chops, large prawns, fresh pizza. Branded beer and soft drinks on tap available for all along with “self serve” pumps. We’ve been to a number of 4 star family hotels and this is up there with the best. No mad rush to put towels on sunbeds. Great hike up the mountain behind the hotel, probably not for anyone under 10 as it is steep with loose gravel / rock on the way down. Reasons for 4 stars not 5: - No sun loungers on the beach - No beach bar Neither of which were a surprise to us and weren’t a problem. Beach is one of the best we’ve been to, best accessed behind the private lodges which is 99% ramped access rather than the main access which is mostly steps and can be a hard climb!

After a hectic few months we wanted a relaxing week away with our 5 year old, and this is exactly what we got. We are normally put off by all inclusive large complexes but this was a really good price so took the gamble. Room.....We booked sea view and wow, it was huge with the most wonderful side view, we stayed in block 10, really comfortable and did not feel cramped with the 3 of us. Pools.. we used the large pool and the activity pool and whilst cool at first we had no issues and struggled to get our boy out at the end of each day, the activity pool was slightly heated..pool party on Mondays and Fridays was great for the kids ( and adults) ..only minor gripe was tiles missing but we had read previous reviews and wore swim shoes so no issues. Food..was really good, we dined at 2 of the speciality restaurants, the Italian which was very nice and family friendly and flavour which again beautiful food could possibly do with a separate child menu but they adapted the dishes for us. The main restaurant was a bit canteenish but the food was lovely and we never got fed up and they was a great selection for our boy, The pool bar was great for lunch, sandwiches salad, pizza burgers, something different everyday. We are not big drinkers but had no complaints when we had a few and the coffee was lovely. Our son is not intersted in shows so we didn't see any, but the plaza bar in the evening was lovely and felt like you were out in a street with restaurants around, it was lovely for us to sit in the evening.. and the silent disco on the Monday was so much fun. It was a lovely atmosphere and didn't feel part of a large complex. The beach is a few steps away, we found the easiest route behind the private lodges, past the chipmunks and even hired beds a couple of days as they were 15 euros for 2 and an umbrella, so mornings on the beach, afternoons by the pool. We knew this hotel was out of the way and went to relax but we never felt bored or trapped and I think you would struggle to get this type of quality in a large resort area. We were fortunate enough to have fabulous weather for October half term mid to late 20s. And our week was amazing. We can't wait to return.

Just returned from an 11 night stay at the TUI Magic life hotel. Family of 4 with 2 older teenagers. We had a lovely time and there were some really good times, but this hotel let itself down on lots of occasions, many of these have been raised by other posts on here. When you add all these little issues together, and then add one big problem we had, it really detracted from our holiday. Lets start off with the fact this is not a 4 star hotel or a TTTT plus hotel as described on the TUI website. I would say 3 star, at a push a 3 star plus. Both flight check-ins with TUI had zero queues, flights took off on time and both landed a little early. Coach transfers very good and it takes about an hour. Check-in at the hotel was quick and easy, especially as I had downloaded the TUI Majic Life app where you can update all the guest details beforehand so when you arrive you only have to show your passports and sign a piece of paper and your done. The receptionist explained everything to us about the layout of the hotel and the facilities. We had two rooms in block 18 with a sea view. The rooms were on the top floor and were huge but lacked decent lighting and storage facilities. Bearing in mind we were there when the clocks went back one hour, it meant that by 6.30pm it was dark out which made it worse. Most 4 star hotels have extra facilities in the rooms such as tea/coffee, this was something that didn’t exist. We found out on the last day if we had asked for a kettle they would provide it, but no mention of this anywhere beforehand and not what you expect from a 4 star hotel. Beds are all single so a double is just 2 singles pushed together, and of you don’t lock the wheels they move, as our kids found out! Bathroom was fine with a nice shower, however I will return to the biggest issue we had at the end of this post. The towels in the room were tiny and dreadful quality – they felt like sandpaper and on many occasions were ripped, torn or frayed. When we raised this with reception, they assured us that all towels had been replaced only a few months ago. Ironically returning to our room after mentioning this, the bath towel in our room had a 2 inch hole in it. A small fridge in the room and a good size safe which took a full-size laptop which was great. The restaurant was often busy, and you would have to try and find a free table. The staff were always very helpful and halfway through our stay they created a queuing system for dinner which really helped, and we only waited a few minutes to be taken to our table. Food quality again was good, but without fail, every single morning and evening there were no cereal/soup bowls or glasses and you would be left waiting for items to be replenished. We didn’t feel that the hotel was particularly busy but the queues for certain foods was ridiculous with us often waiting for over 10 minutes with no communication from any of the staff. Plates dirty and it wasnt very pleasant for my son when he took a cl

The hotel is situated in a beautiful area with stunning views. Sea view room is a must. Myself and my husband visited for a relaxing holiday for 4 nights. . We didn’t take part in any activities so I can’t comment on them but there seemed to be a lot on offer. The weather was great-seemed to be a heat wave this week so the temperature was getting up to the 30s. Food was good in Magico restaurant (buffet style)-plenty of options each day- a lot of fish which we don’t eat but still enough meat dishes , we ate at Bodega (Spanish tapas) which was really nice, we don’t eat seafood/fish so would have avoided waste if people are given an option before food is placed on your table that you don’t want. Trattoria (Italian) in our opinion not so good. I found the Bolegnese sauce to be very bland, there wasn’t any pizza option, and the lasagne was Veal which we didn’t want. We didn’t enjoy this restaurant. Plenty of options of pools. We did see tiles that had come off the floor but it didn’t cause us any problems. All staff were really friendly. Hotel grounds immaculately clean. We rented a premium daybed for a day which was worth it. Overlooking the beautiful beach with premium drinks (cocktails were delicious and strong & better than the standard all inclusive drinks & Corona offered too). If you book at reception you can choose which day bed you want. We walked down the ramp/few steps down the side of the private lodges which anyone can use to the beach, bought a bag of monkey nuts from the shop & fed the squirrels/chipmunks that live in the rocks. This was a lot easier to get to the beach rather than the steps near the day beds. There is a big supermarket about a 15 min walk from the hotel. You can ask the reception for an iron and ironing board what they bring to your room. Hairdryer in the bathroom. Was small but worked okay on my long hair. Negatives 2 single beds pushed together with separate sheets (not good when staying as a couple) No kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in room Wunderbar very hot with no air conditioning/fans. The shops don’t open until 10am to shop or get towels (I feel this is too late) Food in Magico could be cold. On site shop very expensive for some things. 11.95 euro for a pack of plasters! Glad I brought my own! Bed sheets not changed when clearly they had a mark on and was turned over instead. Overall I would recommend this hotel. It was clean, had everything you need & only a short taxi ride if you did want to venture out however we knew it was quite isolated which was fine for us!

If you like exploring the local area, taking in different bars, a bit of culture and history, the odd walk, or any kind of variety to your holiday, this is not the place for you. If however you want simple, easy to manage and keeping it all in one place for the family, this place does a pretty good job. It is isolated here. The saving grace to that is the beach which is great and does afford the chance to stretch your legs a bit. The hotel offers enough for kids and those wanting some activity. The pool while cold is very shallow in enough spots to make it super friendly for toddlers. While adults can take part I’m the many daily activities such as yoga, aquafit etc. You will effectively be eating in the same canteen style restaurant three times a day every day (other choices a little limited) which is ok, but not exactly a dining experience. The quality of the food is fine but not spectacular which I guess is to be expected when catering for masses. It does get busy in there so grab a table first in busy times. The two bars again are ok, the Wunderbar is a bit soulless and the more lively Plaza bar gets pretty busy after 9 so snag a table earlier if you can. Personally I’d avoid the ready made cocktails which taste like a sweet chemical soup. You may have to pay for a half decent cocktail if that’s your thing. People have mentioned the awful small and rough towels, which is true so be prepped for that treat. Rooms however are spacious and clean so no complaints there. The TV if you watch only has around 3 English speaking channels which are news. Overall if you are a family I’d say this place offers a good experience if you’re prepared to accept being in one place the whole time. As a couple, I’d avoid it and look for somewhere I can escape a bit and enjoy the area and some more variety.

LOVED this hotel! My husband and I go away every year (early 40s) and have stayed in many 4-5star all inc but this was our favourite so far! The hotel has so much to do for the active; one of the best hotel gyms I’ve used, a sports pool, and I had the best full body massage I’ve literally ever had here. We ate at the main restaurant every night and the range and quality of food and desserts was wonderful. I ate plates of veg, meat, salad, fruit and delicious cakes. We stayed in a private lodge and to be able I help yourself to alcoholic and soft drinks in your own lounge was wonderful. Our room was lovely with the most comfortable bed. Not that you’d ever get hungry but there were plenty of places to grab food on the go situated around the hotel. The layout and hotel grounds were beautiful. I loved that the hotel takes care of all the stray cats with shelter, food and water. ❤️ The staff were all hospitable and extent polite and helpful. The evening entertainment was pretty good with disco , bingo, movies, live shows etc, most hotels don’t invest in that. We tended to go to the gym first thing and they had yoga classes in front of the sea outside. Then we swam in the various pools and also visited the well screened naturist pool once while there. We also climbed the hill/mountain outside for amazing views! It was such a wonderful holiday we have decided to contact back again next June. My only neutral feedback would be if the gym could open earlier at 7.30 before breakfast that would be great. Thank you to hotel mgmtnt and staff for making our stay such a lovely one :-) Michelle groves
