Go for forest walks or berry picking in the right season. You can BBQ by the water while enjoying bright summer nights. Go for day excursions to Evje for e.g. shopping or visits to their stone collections. There is a rafting centre by the river of Otra. A canoe and small rowing boat with 4 life jackets is at your disposal in a nearby lake, for recreation and relaxation. You can also go swimming here. There are many small islands in the lake where you can explore or set up a bon-fire. Only German channels on the TV.
