Travelodge Peterborough Eye Green

Nice clean warm hotel friendly staff, we came to Peterborough for a special birthday party, we would definitely recommend, and would stay there again.

In a country of declining customer service, it was an absolute relief being greeting by Aaron ready to check me in at 2am after a 15hour work day including 5+ hours of driving. Had a two night stay here, on the day shift I had a couple of issues with the internet to which Umar was straight in to help and impart advice. Professional, welcoming, and efficient - these are two excellent members of the Travelodge team!

The manager, Umar was very helpful, friendly , polite and professional in discharging his duties. My colleagues and I were very impressed at the service rendered. The hotel itself has places around to get food . They are very security. My room was quite spacious

Stayed for 1 night , visiting nearby Flag Fen Archaeology Park. Arrived and man behind reception was very welcoming , friendly and he was very apologetic about the boiler breaking. He kept us up to date throughout our stay and was open , honest and fully explained the situation . A temporary boiler was in use and sadly by the time next morning we went to have our showers the hot water had run out. I’m not backwards in coming forwards but how we were dealt with meant I couldn’t bring myself to bring this up as he’d been so helpful and also issued us with a voucher. Things happen and it was so nice for someone to be straightforward and honest and clear with his communication . So often when things go wrong if you do get the rare opportunity to deal with someone face to face their attitude is poor and take no ownership or responsibility. Hotel was fine , quiet and comfortable . A bit of litter outside but clean inside

A budget hotel that needs a little more attention to detail to prevent it from becoming a workman's hostel.

Stayed for business. Poor WiFi and an uncomfortable bed, tired and dated room, then no hot water for two days meant no shower. Should have stayed for three nights but due to the lack of sleep and no hot water I had to stay elsewhere. No staff around to discuss the issue with the next morning. Very disappointed.

The room was comfortable and clean but a little noisy due to the busy road outside, also too light at night due to outside street lamps. Would suggest blackout curtains and triple glazing.

A very nice two night stay, let down somewhat by the hot water not working for the second evening but received a refund for that night which was much appreciated, these things happen at times. Good parking and despite being close to the A47 not particularly bothered by traffic noise. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, special mention to Talita and Caroline, a credit to Travelodge.

Stayed here for one night for a wedding nearby. Whole thing was very easy even though our timings were a little awkward, the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Can’t remember their names unfortunately.
