Why my rating is 4 and not 5: 1.The room was really non-smoking and clean but carpet wasn't vacuumed recently. It was done upon my requests only before my 3rd night in the hotel. 2. Hot tub was working fine but no assess with room keys. I had to ask receptionist everytime to let me in. 3. The whole area is very noisy because of freeway but it is quiet inside hotel facilities and don't disturb sleeping. Unexepectedly in this busy area, there is a 2 miles hiking trail right behind the hotel, and a very nice Rockville Hills Regional Park in 7 minutes driving on easy route. It has biking/hiking trails, a lake, a cave, and amazing views from hilltops.

I was looking at my emailed credit card statement on 8/16/2020 and it showed a charge of $115.94 for a no-show hotel stay at Comfort Inn in Fairfield, CA. However, on June 9, 2020 My wife called the hotel at 707-864-1446 and canceled our reservation for 7/30/2020-8/5/2020. I then called the Hotel on 8/16/2020 to inform them that this must be a big mistake. The staff person said the manager [Luisa Vidal] was not in and will not be back in until Monday at 11am and I was to call back then. I have left numerous of messages for Mr. Luis Vidal for the GM and he hasn't called me back, I have reached out to customer relations department of Choice Hotels and filed a formal complaint. I am deeply disappointed that my situation is not being addressed. I am out of $115.94 for something that the hotel staff person failed to record in their system. I feel that because the GM refuses to speak with me, he knows that the hotel staff person has failed to report my cancelation. And what really hurts is that the hotel even charged a occupancy tax come on now. “beware be cautious and alert”

The manager was very friendly. The hotel was conveniently located near the freeway, restaurants, and gas station. The beds/pillows were super comfy! Unfortunately due to shortages we were unable to eat breakfast at the restaurant.

Front desk guy is amazing the guy in general other employees are okay the new girls amazing she's trying so hard which I appreciate from this guy will definitely need your needs only thing I don't like is that their prices when you walk in and not the same as the online prices which means that you would want to book if you are a member the rooms are very clean definitely not like the motel 6 up the street which I will never go to again other than that the hotel is amazing make sure if you're paying cash though you have the $200 deposit which I don't understand why if you're paying with the card they need $100 deposit on top of that why can't they just put your card on file like anywhere else but I love it there
