Hotel di Ferntree Gully

The room was large and overall comfortable, though a couple of issues. Firstly, there are 2 beds in the room and we intended using both, however there was only one spare blanket. Second, our bathroom had no towel rail except for a 30cm one adjacent to the sink for the hand towel. Lastly, for such an otherwise modern room there is no toaster. I booked directly and afterwards was emailed a survey. I took the time to respond, thinking it would assist them (otherwise why do they ask), mentioning the above 3 items. I received an offensive email back telling me the rooms have towel rails (the ones in the website photo's might but mine definitely didn't), that had I wanted a spare blanket for both beds they would have provided one had I asked (except that Reception closes at or before 8pm and you don't realise before going to bed) and pointing out the room has heating (not a substitute for a blanket on a bed I'm afraid, not many people sleep with the heating going all night). If they didn't want honest constructive feedback they shouldn't ask for it, and I sorely wish I hadn't wasted my time on them.

Great apartment. All amenities provided. Our Unit was spacious, very comfortable and clean, and surprisingly quiet. It had a fully equipped kitchen and laundry – all mod cons. – and all working well. Complete range of kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery etc. Lacking nothing. When we started looking for accommodation, we were initially put off from booking Lifestyle Apartments as it was bang in the middle of suburbia and just off a dual carriage highway. Noise was a concern. However, we could not find anything “in” the Dandenongs that had the facilities and price offered by Lifestyle Apartments. When we realised how close Lifestyle Apartments were to being actually in the Dandenongs, we had no hesitation in booking. Noise was never an issue. Once inside the apartment it was extremely quiet. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to explore the Dandenongs. The Kokoda Track memorial including the 1000 steps walk was only 3kms away. Puffing Billy is only 7kms away while the beautiful Olinda with Dandenong Botanical Gardens only 12 kms away. I would highly recommend this property and I have already suggested that my younger families also visit the Dandenongs for a holiday and recommended Lifestyle Apartments to them. I will definitely stay there again.

Every thing is good as expected .Location perfect. Near many restaurants and shopping centre, library...etc. Good stop over site in weekends. Will come back for next visit.

Stayed here for a business trip. Has been a great place to stay, nice English/European traditional decor and furniture, very clean room near to everything. Room has all the amenities: iron, ironing board, hair dryer, lots of towels, chairs, table, desk, arm chair, comfortable bedding and pillows, air conditioning, free wifi. Function rooms look great. Near shopping centres and restaurants

Stayed in a room with a queen bed. The room was clean and tidy. Shower and toilet was good. Had everything that I needed for the night. The only thing that was missing from the room was the complementary tea, coffee, milk and a mug. But otherwise I can't complain.

Excellent hotel for family stay. Awesome service. Front desk executives are very polite and professional. Hotel staffs are are very kind. Restaurant food is good and the pool is just awesome. I will recommend this hotel for people travelling to Aus.

Our stay was OK in as much as the bed and bathroom were acceptable for the price. - when the price is $125 or so. The trick is while they advertise $125 a night, Friday and Saturday night the prices goes off the scale. So read your proposal, even if you're in a rush. There are lot better rooms around at around $200 or more. We stayed 4 nights and extended another - a Saturday. (Family matters nearby). The gentleman said $120 for the extra night but when I got my statement it was $189! It was then I realised I was charged that for Friday too. Re-educated in touch and go and not bothering with the receipt. Sure these prices are not exorbitant in this day an age - for a reasonable establishment. While in the room the basics were reasonable, the room had a toaster and microwave but no bread plates or cutlery, only small bowls. Asked at reception and was give some disposable cutlery and pasta bowls . Great for toast! Apparently people keep stealing them or breaking them. So charge them and have something reasonable for reasonable people! The door didn't latch either without a heft with your shoulder and then caught only by millimetres. The chain was on and the chairs in place, don't worry. The room was only serviced once during our stay after we asked. The garbage truck came at 4.00Am or so and emptied multiple skips just nearby (on the premises) with all the beeping and backing, hydraulic whining, and diesel roaring you'd probably accept at $120 odd dollars a night, but really? My partner was ready to walk in the first five minutes with her usual abuse of my miserliness. As you might have guessed, the pricing issue is what really gets up nose. The rest you probably expect and accept for a cheaper deal. But next time we're near Lilydale we may well pay $189 but we'll be looking for $189 value.

This property definitely has some positives. The price is cheap for an apartment and it's very close to Box Hill Central and pretty close to Box Hill Hospital. The staff were able to get us in to our room early which was also very handy. The negatives, the amenities feel cheap, the double bed was made up of 2 single mattresses pushed together, and the mattresses were very thin. The couch was the same it just felt cheap and poor quality. The other negative with this property was the odor in the corridor which smelt like a mixture of cigarettes and stale cooking smells, although within the apartment we were in there was no odor so that was a positive. If you need somewhere for a short stay in and around Box Hill this property is quite ok, but be realistic about what you are expecting at the price point

Absolutely gorgeous, and lovely staff members! Super helpful, and friendly. Adored all interactions with the managers and especially the housekeeping crew! Everyone is so accommodating, helpful and lovely! Parking is quiet private, which I loved! The place was nice and peaceful, 24 hour surveillance made me feel safe to leave my mother in law there. The beds were amazingly comfortable, rooms & bathrooms were extremely clean and lovely! Thank you for the stay! Will recommend to everyone I know needing a room in this area!

Tempat ini menghirup udara segar berbanding 4 tempat terakhir yang saya tinggal di kawasan itu. Tempat yang sangat sangat bersih dan kemas, gambar-gambar sangat tepat yang jarang berlaku. Katilnya selesa. Wanita di meja itu juga memberi saya pilihan bilik jika saya mahukan bilik di bahagian belakang yang kurang bunyi lalu lintas atau di tengah. Dia pun membukanya dan menunjukkan kepada saya. Kedua-duanya sangat bersih. Sangat kagum akan 100% kembali.
