The Riad building and grounds are in traditional Moroccan style and decor. Our room (Deluxe Suite) was quite spacious. We've stayed for 3 nights and our room was cleaned daily, bed linens and even the bathrobes were changed daily. This Riad is conveniently located in close proximity to a main street with many restaurants and cafes. That is all for the positive side. On the negative side: The breakfast quality is terrible. Waiting time to get any food on your table is at least 30 min. The servers at the breakfast are the same young girls that clean the rooms (looks and feels like cheap labour). There are three dogs on the premisses that walk free and barking all night long. One of the nights we couldn't sleep at all because of these dogs. The Riad does offer a dinner menu, however the price is unreasonably hight. Walk 100 meters to a main street and you will pay fraction of that price. One more detail - Keep in mind that this Riad doesn't except credit cards. The conclusion: I would NOT recommend Riad Dar Ziryab

Additionally, the lifts were exceptionally small, causing inconvenience and discomfort, especially when carrying luggage or during busy times. It was disappointing that the accessibility and space were not as expected. We also encountered a language barrier when trying to communicate about laundry charges. We felt like we might have been overcharged, but it was difficult to clarify the matter due to the language issue. On a positive note, most of the staff were very friendly and polite, and their efforts to assist us were appreciated. However, the lack of water or glasses in the rooms was a surprising oversight, and it affected our overall comfort during our stay. Furthermore, the location of the hotel didn't have much around that was open. This limited our options for nearby dining or activities, making our experience less enjoyable. Overall, the hotel had several faults that affected our stay. While the friendly staff were a bright spot, the issues with accessibility, small lifts, lack of amenities, and limited nearby options left us feeling dissatisfied. I hope that the hotel management takes these concerns seriously and works on improving the overall guest experience to meet the expectations of their guests.

I stayed there for 2 days. My room was ready and clean. The bed was comfy. Breakfast is good buffet with many items. I liked it. They have a big garden with a nice pool. I took a fresh local bear in this garden and a good chicken tajine with vegetables and olives.

Mrs. Fatima and her staff made our first visit to Morocco an unforgettable experience! We really enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners with traditional food. We really enjoyed the Hamman bath. We did a tour that consisted of a day visit to the medina and one to the Sahara desert, where we stayed in a luxury glampimg and enjoyed a camel ride to see the sunset in the dunes. Unique experiences and amazing host!! I highly recommend Raouia Toursfor your next visit to Morocco.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Hotel Volubilis. We hesitated to book the hotel because of some bad reviews about not having hot water and the staff being unfriendly (especially to Asians). But we decided to book anyways because of its location and quite affordable price. We were arriving to Fez at around 5pm, and we were told staying at the Medina wouldn't be worth it. Since we were catching a flight the next morning, we thought it would be more convenient to stay in the new city. So, despite some of the bad reviews, we decided to spend the night at Hotel Volubilis. Its location turned out to be great. It's right at the center and by the main avenue. There are lots of places to eat at walking distance and there are several Carrefours closeby also at walking distance. The staff was nice and they welcomed us well and took our request for a taxi to the airport in the morning. So, we have no complaints about the staff. Our room was big with a terrace. The room was old but clean. The terrace had no table or chairs, but it was okay. The bathroom was also big and we had no issues with the hot water. We showered at arrival and in the morning and water was hot and with pressure. The thing that we missed the most in the room was a fridge. Other than that, all good and acceptable. Though we agree with the other comments saying that this is not a 4-star hotel by ”global” standards.

Hôtel très bien situé. Les chambres sont très propres et bien insonorisées. Personnel au top, très souriant, serviable, aimable, adorable,merci à toutes et tous pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse tant à l accueil,qu au service du petit déjeuner,que le personnel de ménage,et d'entretien. Environnement très calme. L’emplacement est facile d’accès et le parking apprécié. Très bon séjour dans cet établissement, nous le recommandons vivement. Je recommande !!

아주 오래된 호텔이지만 관리를 잘 한 흔적이 있습니다. 하지만 리셉션은 역시 모로코 입니다.써비스 마인드가 없다보니 손님앞에서 자기들끼리 대화하면서 짜증을 냅니다. ㅋㅋㅋ 어쩔수 없는 마인드^^ 그외는 다들 무난하게 친절하지만 방문은 꼭 안에서ㅠ잠가야 합니다. 갑자기 룸크린이 노크하자마자 바로 방문열고 들어옵니다 ~ 꼭 안에서 잠그세요 ^^ 조식은 로컬 호텔 조식 수준인데 그만그만 합니다..커피와 주스는 좋아요
