The room is at the first floor, was poorly lit, rather dim, and had a strange smell that made it a little uncomfortable

Good location near other places in the city. Staff was friendly. Room was a nice size. Overall would return!

很古老 但是景色很好 可以直接看到大教堂

位置很好，離火車站很近，拉着行李步行很方便。離中餐館很近，房間舒適。床是典型歐洲的雙人床，比國內的窄。

Rooms, very nice, spotless and I mean spotless. Rooms comfy, very modern. Great big shower with rain shower head. Small balcony, you can open the window to enjoy the city noises and get some fresh air. Breakfast nice, you have to take your food to your room to eat but that is ok. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Great location, Close to the railway station Close to the city centre and all the amenities.

We stayed at Hotel Ester for one night with our family. I have never in my life been treated with such rudeness at a hotel. The man with dark, curly hair at reception made my whole family feel unwelcome. You should seriously consider changing jobs. Stay away from this hotel. There are so many other ones in this area that will treat you with more grace.

This is excellent location 4 min from Santa Maria train station and most sites are a walking distance. The staff is very helpful and my room was clean and quiet. They provided a kettle, hair dryer, free tea and coffee sachets, a water bottle and some snack, they also store luggage. The check is 2 PM and chcek out 10 AM, an hour less from other hotels. They have a lift so it’s very convenient. I would recommend this hotel

We stayed here on an Intrepid tour. Probably my favourite hotel on this tour, especially in Italy. It is in close proximity of mercato, street markets and lots of restaurants. Our room was at the back and far from the noisy street. Our concierge went above and beyond by not only doing our washing that we paid for, but hung it out on a hoist in our room. I initially wasn’t sure how I felt about that but decided it was a favour and was very helpful.

This is clearly not anything but a 2* hotel or less. The air conditioning did not work at all. The wifi had no signal and I had to go to the lobby just to get a decent signal. The bed was not much of a mattress. Overall, I would never provide this hotel with anything above a 2* and possibly not even a 2*. The breakfast was a small area for you to take food BACK to your room to eat. No dining or sitting area. The hotel proprietor would stand behind a small area and "serve" breakfast to guests....one at a time. I went through most of Italy and have provided wonderful reviews on most the hotels we stayed at, this one we should have passed on completely.

I stayed here as part of an Intrepid tour. It is NOT a 3-star hotel...more like a 2 star touching a 3. Having said that, the room and the bathroom were comfortable thought I suspect the Mercure on the opposite side of the street may be more comfortable. It is also important to note that whilst my internet reception was good - I could even FaceTime home or watch Netflix...some others had rooms with terrible internet reception. The included breakfast is VERY basic (think boiled eggs, croissants, yoghurt etc.) as opposed to scrambled eggs, sausages etc. - best try somewhere else for breakfast.

3*? No way! Who gave it and for what??? Small hotel with to much noise. I stayed in room 1 close to the reception and the area where they provided breakfast/bar/whatever else. It's noisy from coffee machine and microwave oven (someone used it after 10 pm for 10 min. It also woke me up on Saturday morning at 7.30 am. Very annoying. Ppl coming by all time at the night u can hear everything. On the top of it is another hotel and the floor is very quirky, so I heard ppl walking and knocking by high heels and wheels from the suitcases. Horrible! Room was OK size, big enough for 1 person but no blanket in a bed,!!!! only some small carpets which I used both cos in October was very cold. Only one small pillow, so far from comfort. Cleaning is so so. Found long dark hair on my bed, disgusting. They didn't even put towels together. From amenities is only shower gel, so bring everything with u. Water was very slow to sink. My recommendations - skip this place.

The owners were quite attentive to our needs and were there to advise waking routes and extra places to see. The hotel was quiet and clean. I have stayed there several times with family and enjoy returning.

On nous a donné une chambre de moins de 8m2 ! Certes, très propre mais vraiment très exiguee ! Pas d'insonorisation, nous avons pu profiter des bruits du boulevard toute la nuit ! En outre la chambre était une vraie passoire thermique ! Le petit déjeuner est médiocre, les produits sont de très mauvaise qualité. la salle de restaurant se résume à deux petites tables dans un couloir, glauque, peu éclairée, cynique. La direction nous a invités à prendre le petit déjeuner dans notre chambre. Nous lui avons fait remarquer qu'il n'y avait pas de place. Cerise sur le gâteau, le dernier jour, la direction avait chargé la femme de ménage de nous remettre 10 euros car il n'y avait pas de petit déjeuner à disposition. Je ne comprends pas cette gestion. L'hôtel était vide. On aurait pu nous proposer une autre chambre plus conforme au descriptif. Mais peut-être que le descriptif est mensonger....C'est honteux de nous avoir traité de cette façon. Si je n'avais pas réglé la totalité du séjour à la réservation, j'aurais tourné les talons pour aller m'installer dans un autre hôtel. Donc , passez votre chemin et choisissez un autre hôtel. Ce n'est pas ce qui manque dans le centre historique de Florence.
