Leopoldo Residence

Finding accommodation for my three-week stay in Florence in November-December was challenging. Fortunately, I found Leopoldo Residence, which met all my needs. Marilena promptly responded to my emails and became my main contact. I later spoke with Gina for additional questions and finalized the booking. Upon arrival, Marilena greeted me, showed me to the apartment, and provided excellent recommendations for local coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery stores, including a site I had missed during my research. Marilena was incredibly helpful during my entire stay. Leopoldo Residence apartment complex is located in a quiet area, a five-minute walk from the T1 tram stop (Leopoldo). For 1.70 euros (Urban Ticket), you can reach Santa Maria Novella Train Station in 10 minutes (five stops), with major attractions within a 5 to 20-minute walk. The complex is 2.3 kilometers (1.4 miles) from the station, taking about 32 minutes to walk. I stayed in a spacious second-floor studio with a large bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and good water pressure, along with a kitchen equipped with basic appliances such as a coffee machine, kettle, microwave, electric hub, sink, under-counter fridge, dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. The apartment also included a comfortable double bed, roomy wardrobe, TV, and a washing machine in the bathroom; while there was no dryer, it had a drying rack along with an iron and ironing board. The apartment has a remote-controlled central heating system and includes a balcony. It is well-maintained, with cleaning twice a week, weekly towel and sheet changes, and regular trash removal. The Wi-Fi connectivity and speed are excellent. Essential supplies such as toilet paper are included. The apartment building is a five-minute walk from a Coop supermarket. For an extended stay, you will need to purchase your own food supply, kitchen towels, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, and bring your personal toiletries. Leopoldo Residence provided me with a delightful and memorable experience during my stay in Florence.

We spent three nightsat Leopoldo. Staff was extremely nice and helpful for everything. The place is very convenient, top equipment and quite cozy. We used their parking and went to the city center by tram, just around the corner. Last but not leas, at 5 mins walking there is a wonderful trattoria with the best spaghetti I ever had (Spaghetti Briganti at Fratelli Brigandi). When we go back to Florence, we will go for sure also to Leopoldo.

I stayed at Residence Leopoldo in Florence with my son & husband. We were welcomed at the reception by a very warm host, who showed us around our Premium Studio apartment. She also gave us lots of tips and suggestions on things to see and do in Florence. Since we were there on our anniversary, they were so nice as to gift us a bottle of Prosecco!! The apartment was spacious and very well equipped with a kitchenette and a washing machine. There was an iron in the room too and lots of storage space. It was an excellent deal for the price! The place is well connected to the city centre and a tram is just walking distance from the building. However, after exploring Florence, we did feel we would have enjoyed the vibrancy of the city centre more had we stayed somewhere closer. But then, we may not have had such a comfortable stay that we had here! In all, a great experience!

Trovato tramite recensioni e direi ottima scelta. Appartamento con ampio soggiorno e cucina a vista, cameretta e camera da letto a vista, 2 bagni. Nuovo pulito e ben organizzato con tutti gli accessori. Comodo per raggiungere il centro con tranvia a 5 minuti dal residence. Consigliatissimo.

Ho soggiornato al Leopoldo residence per 3 notti, appartamento pulito e ordinato, cucina piccola che dispone di tutti gli oggetti necessari per cucinare, ottimo il kit di benvenuto e il clima riesce a riscaldare l’intero appartamentino in breve tempo. Ottimo il parcheggio per l’auto ad un prezzo onesto. Ubicazione dell’hotel a 20 min a piedi dal centro e vicinissimo ad una fermata della tranvia. Piccole accortezze da rivedere, si sentivano i rumori degli altri appartamenti, il bagno disponeva solo di un termosifone elettrico che non lo riusciva a riscaldare abbastanza. E la cosa piú spiacevole che è capitata è stata l’ultima mattina prima del check-out, l’orario stabilito era entro le 10:30, io e il mio compagno volevamo prenderci la mattinata con calma e svegliarci verso le 9:00 visto che nei giorni precedenti avevamo visitato tutta la città e non dovevamo visitare nient’altro… siamo stati svegliati da una signora che ha aperto la porta dell’appartamento alle 8:20 ed esordendo con un “ah ma qui c’è ancora gente”. Situazione abbastanza imbarazzante e che si poteva benissimo evitare visto che il check-out era alle 10:30, mi sono sentita molto a disagio e spaventata dopo questa situazione anche perché ho il sonno molto leggero e mi sono svegliata di soprassalto sentendo le chiavi che venivano inserite nella serratura e la porta aprirsi. Tralasciando questo piccolo sconveniente consiglio vivamente di soggiornare al Leopoldo residence

Abbiamo soggiornato per due giorni in residence nella junior suite che, tra l’altro, è stata appena ristrutturata. Camera grande, accogliente e dotata di tutti i comfort. Il bagno è davvero molto grande e dotato di accappatoi, ciabatte e kit cortesia. Abbiamo inoltre trovato la camera davvero molto pulita e ordinata. Ci ritornerò sicuramente in quando situato solo 3-4 minuti a piedi dalla fermata del tram omonima “Leopoldo” che collega la maggior parte delle attrazioni della città. Un soggiorno rilassante che merita di essere vissuto.
