Velona's Jungle Luxury Suites

This is how hospitality should be done. Highly recommended. When we arrived wee were met with the warmest of welcomes along with advice on the best cafes, restaurants etc to visit during our short stay. Great location, full of character. Amazing experience!!

Not even sure where to start but this place does not disappoint! Wonderful people running this spot and so much care has gone into the design and whole vibe of Velona’s! It’s in a nice quiet location, and just steps to everything you may need or want to see in Firenze. We got a lot of great recommendations and help with reservations during our stay. Will definitely be coming back!

We stayed at four places during a 2 week tour of Italy, and the Jungle Suites in Florence is the place we have taken the most pictures of and talk about still. Veronica and her staff are great, so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the building, the decor and Florence itself. Fantastic stay, we would (and plan to!) return in a heartbeat. An amazing place to stay in Firenze! Beautiful, luxuriously comfortable room and delicious breakfast. It felt like we were staying with friends as everyone was so lovely and super helpful - they really went above and beyond! Plus we were given some absolutely great recommendations for restaurants etc. so we could experience local life after hitting the tourist trail! Grazie Mille!

Where to start the location is perfect for visiting Florence. Veronica has to be the most welcoming host. We were contacted with the exact location and given details to ensure we found the premises. Upon arrival we had the warmest welcome made to feel immediately at ease given a map of the area and top tips for where to go. Our room was 5 star quality impeccably clean and luxurious, the toiletries were amazing.

Plus: * Veronica is a great & friendly host with great hints & tips on where to go in Florence * Rooms are beautiful in the jungle theme, all top level 'equipment' * Location is 10-15 mins walk from the historic centre ＞ excellent * Breakfast brought to your room on a trolley is a delight Minus: * A small minus is the aircon not working in winter.....systems set on 25ºC minimum. We opened the windows instead

stayed in the Darwin suite and it was lovely. The room was quite and very peaceful so slept well every night felt like a little oasis, from walking through the front door we instantly loved this place - I think the description of a luxury boutique B&B was very accurate the location is on the edge of the city, but as Florence is so small everything was well within walking distance for us the staff were extremely helpful, including the directions provided in advance, which were very useful and easy to follow we were providing a number of recommendations on things to do and places to eat and these were tailored to what we wanted from our visit ALL recommendations were excellent and we would definitely recommend taking advantage of the advice offered as it really helped make the most of our time in the city the staff also made any reservations we wanted which really helped we also really enjoyed the breakfast trolly being brought to our room each morning : ) overall a great stay and would definately recommend

A beautiful stay awaits you in this hotel - the rooms are spacious and clean, the team is very attentive to every need led by the owner herself - Veronica - a lovely lady. The breakfast every morning was very good! Would definitely recommend & go back.
