All’interno del parco inoltre è presente una palestra e una Spa, dove è possibile fare diversi trattamenti anche luxury con creme con oro 24kt e massaggi con oli della famosa officina profumo farmaceutica Santa Maria Novella di Firenze. Ho apprezzato molto la vista della camera sul giardino della Villa, e l’accoglienza e la disponibilità del personale.

My husband and I booked this hotel wanting to experience a 5 star boutique hotel in franzia vs the usual high-end commercial hotels. We ended up making several reservations in order to take advantage of staying in other parts of the country. Therefore we ended up with booking 2 separate reservations at Hotel Regency through our Platinum Amex. We booked the rooms with a flex cancellation, in case plans change. Later I added one extra night to one of our reservations, come to realize that I had made a mistake adding the one extra night stay because my husband had booked us elsewhere for an overnight at Luca. Our total stay was going to be for 6 nights and there was going to be one night that we wouldn’t be staying at the hotel and returning again for 2 additional nights. When I called Amex and explained the situation I was informed hat the additional night that I had booked fell under a new reservation and did not have the flex cancellation, Yet they thought that it shouldn’t be a problem canceling that one night when we were going to be there for 5 other days. When they contacted the hotel and explained the situation the hotel refused to work with Amex. Thinking perhaps if I called and explained maybe I would have better luck explaining the situation and yet again they were unwilling to refund us for just that one night. I explained to them that the remainder of our reservation was still covered under the flex cancellation policy and if they were unwilling to work with us then I felt compelled to cancel my entire reservation and give my business to a place that actually appreciates and values me as a client. And still they did not budge. Therefore I went ahead and cancelled my reservation and booked a room at The Four Seasons hotel where my experience has always been extremely satisfactory with them.

This hotel was fantastic. This was a small hotel that offers so much to its guests. We stayed here for 6 days, so we booked a suite. The room was great with plenty of room to sleep and sit, as well as great closet space and a nice bathroom. The concierge was great. The concierge assisted us with travel plans, arranging a great tour guide, and making great recommendations for dinner. Breakfast each day was great with good choices and wonderful service. We were in a great location - close to the train station and the Duomo. We enjoyed playing billiards and having a drink at the bar in the evening. This will be the hotel we will book when we return to Florence. Everything was superb.

I arrived with my septuagenarian parents on April 27 for a week-long stay. The hotel provided us with the right room classification on arrival, but I was concerned that the suite was single bathroom instead of two and the closet space was not optimal for our needs. Annamaria, Victoria and Samuele stand out as front office staff who listened and acted swiftly to help address our request for help and resolved the issue the next day. That was the first wow moment of our stay. I also recommend the breakfast (came with our reservation package) and you should take advantage of the Rooftop Bar, the view of the Duomo and across the city 360 degress is suberb. After 10+ visits to Florence, this hotel has become my new preferred location and I anticipate returning here in the years to come.

We booked this hotel as a treat for a special wedding anniversary ( which was not even mentioned/ recognised by the team at all.) . Though a pre arrival email did add in a ‘ romantic dinner’ ( no explanation why ) that we didn’t request for 100 euros ! Em… no thank you ! I travel extensively and stay in many 4/ 5 star hotels . Sadly DP did not deliver ! The most alarming thing is that I emailed my feedback directly to the hotel on the day of our departure and still have not received a response. That says to me ‘ we really don’t care ‘ …. The good… stunning building / good room ( tho small bathroom ) and some nice customer service moments, housekeeping lady was fab and front of house staff were mainly helpful and pleasant The bad… breakfast on our first day , we were ignored for 3/4 minutes, had to ask for our table to be laid . There was just one waiter . Uncleared tables , no scrambled eggs . Had to ask for more . If you wanted ‘ additional ‘ breakfast items like poached eggs / omelette this was an extra charge . A bit ridiculous when the only offer of hot food was bacon and scrambled eggs which were hard / cold or none existent !,, !! This is suppose to be 5 star…. Well it was THE worst breakfast offering/ experience I have experienced . The were no tea/ coffee facilities in the room . There no atmosphere in “ the bar “ and definitely not somewhere I would want to have dinner … actually I didn’t see anyone in bar / restaurant apart from breakfast time. I wish you could have done much better DP …you definitely under delivered in terms of our customer experience and your lack of response says it all . We loved Florence and will definitely return to the city but will not be returning to Dimora Palanca or recommending it .

I arrived early and the offered to store my luggage at the reception and they delivered to my room, that’s nice. There was no briefing on the breakfast arrangements at check in, they assume bay you know. My room is an end unit with a single bed, which is good for me, the bathroom is pleasantly big, and I do enjoyed the bath. Shower is good too with good water pressure. I found a pair of slippers inside the drawer of the bedside table instead of in the closet, they are comfortable. The whole 3 nights I stayed without Wi-Fi, they couldn’t fix it! The electric outlet has three holes so you need to bring the specific adapter as there no usb port to charge gadgets. I changed mine in the bathroom as my two pint adapters worked there. No kettle in the room but they kindly delivered some hot water to my room when I requested. The second night they told me to go downstairs to get it. TV has international news channels except CNN but that’s ok for me. Lifts are efficient.

I did not appreciate being told to sit a specific table for breakfast even when there were clearly several empty, was totally snubbed when asking for hot water for tea. Male concierge added 30% onto the price of bus tickets , next days' tickets were as priced on the actual ticket. Makes them untrustworthy. Poor breakfasts . And service is bad. Itallians get treated well and english are NOT . They don't know how to treat paying guests with equal respect . Its obvious they are blatantly discriminate.

Is a good hotel to stay in Firenze, the rooms are confortable ones, clean, great ambience and the best is the staff! You can feel that you are part of a family there. Location is 20 min for the main attractions, by public transportation, but it worths, city is lovely! Breakfast is incredible... great one, good variety and great coffee. Just minor details for improvement: - Manage expectations: reservation was with connecting rooms, but, seems at the moment of check in were not available (although the reservation was with that type of room). Although rooms were good. - Shower pressure: the only not go good in the room. Shower pressure was almost minimal... taking a shower was challenging... and the mixer seems was broken - water was so hot or... so cold! - More pillows in the bed... Thanks for a very good experience!

We had a lovely stay at Lorena Suites. The staff were so friendly and helpful despite my embarrassing lack of Italian. Our room was large and beautifully decorated with plenty of places to store our items. It was clean with an excellent cold shower - just what you need after exploring all day in 40 degree heat! Air conditioning was also very welcome as was the well stocked mini bar - this felt reasonably priced in comparison with local shops and provided a few local Italian aperitivo as well. We had a balcony which offered an excellent view of the sunset over the tuscan countryside. When we arrived and realised we were on the 5th floor, I was very grateful to note there was a lift available to take us and our bags up. Lorena is roughly 20 minutes walk from the duomo but you aren’t too far from other points of interest. We spent €10 in a taxi to get there from Santa Maria Novella station and it was €18 to get back and the host was very helpful in arranging this taxi back for us. When we arrived, the taxi driver pointed out a restaurant on the corner (out of the gates and turn left) which he said offered the best bistecca in Florence. We were dubious but tried anyway and it was incredible - if you want authentic Italian cuisine and company would highly recommend skipping the walk back into the busier areas and going here instead. It is worth noting that some of the rooms face onto quite a busy main road. While this was not an issue at night, in the morning this was quite loud from early on - best to make sure the shutters are fully closed as we found this (plus a couple of bottle of chianti Classico) made for a peaceful lie in. All in all we had a wonderful stay in Lorena Suites, all was fantastic and we cannot wait to find an excuse to come back and visit!

Stayed here for two nights to check out the city. Location and accommodations were great. • Very walkable to all the nearby tourist attractions in Piazza del Duomo. • Little to no outside noise despite being tucked away off the main road. • The exterior of the building was much older than expected but the room was very accurate to the photos. • Andrea from reception was friendly and helpful from our check-in to check-out. He helped lug up our way-too-heavy bags and scheduled a taxi ride ride for us. • We didn't take advantage of the breakfast service, but the designated dining area was spacious. • The room itself was large and perfect for a quick stay. Thanks for a great stay! _____ La posizione e le sistemazioni erano fantastiche. • Molto raggiungibile a piedi tutte le vicine attrazioni turistiche in Piazza del Duomo. • Poco o nessun rumore esterno nonostante sia nascosto fuori dalla strada principale. • L'esterno dell'edificio era molto più vecchio del previsto, ma la camera era molto fedele alle foto. • Andrea dalla reception è stato cordiale e disponibile dal nostro check-in al check-out. Ci ha aiutato a caricare le nostre borse troppo pesanti e ci ha programmato una corsa in taxi. • Non abbiamo usufruito del servizio colazione, ma la zona pranzo designata era spaziosa. • La camera era grande e perfetta per un soggiorno veloce. Initially we found Palazzo San Lorenzo a little off the beaten track and that the residential nature of the neighborhood meant there were few adjacent restaurants however as our time in Florence evolved we found the peaceful and calm atmosphere a welcome respite from the crowds and intensely busy atmosphere of central Florence. Everyone was very gracious, the spaces were very tasteful and relaxing, the garden a delight and breakfast was delicious. The service was attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend Palazzo Scan Lorenzo but be prepared for the added expense of taxis to and from central Florence. ( around 10 Euro each way ).
