Leading up to our visit it was difficult getting straight answers about the resort almost as if you weren't a priority if you were not physically onsite. Once at the property everything was just fine. The resort is an older property but was very clean. Be prepared to exchange your own towels or replenish sundry items in the basement during certain hours. Facility was a short walk to the beach. Great location. Overall we ad a good and would probably return at a later date.

I do not recommend it to anyone, the rooms are dirty, the beds are uncomfortable and the furniture is old and ugly. I couldn't sleep all night. The price is very high. Luckily, it was only one night.

The only good thing about this place was the oceanfront view and the location. Other than that, the place was outdated, old furniture, terrible mattresses. The overall cleanliness of the hotel could’ve been WAY better. The rooms were just barely cleaned.. The elevators were small and slow, not to mention one of them was working. The hotel also has a weird, old, dusty scent that isn’t welcoming. Like I said before, the only good thing about this place was how fast we could get to the beach!

Great location, steps from the beach. And easily accessible from the airport or I95. Convenience stores nearby. We had a great view from the 15th floor onto the sea. Appliances in the unit need a refresh. Overall enjoyed our stay.

My week at Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort was very pleasant and I would recommend this hotel to others. The resort is easy to find with ample parking. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk away, with restaurants, coffee shops, and gift shops along the way. The hotel was clean and tidy with plenty of towels and extra blankets. The hot tub was a perfect temperature and never too crowded. During our stay, the resort was conducting an annual fire alarm check but they gave guests a "heads up" of what to expect and when. Overall my stay was very pleasant and I look forward to returning next summer.

As other reviews have stated, the property is outdated and could use updates. The pictures accurately represent the rooms/condos. Specific details: Towels can only be exchanged Mon-Thurs. We arrived on a Thursday for a long weekend and therefore were unable to get fresh towels after a a couple of days of use. The checkout time of 10am is steadfast and there is a charge of $50/30 minutes after. The only bathroom is in the bedroom which was awkward to walk into the room where a couple was sleeping or trying to get ready. The furniture had to be moved to open both the sleeper sofa and murphy bed. We did not have a coffee maker or toaster. The pool area was decent and the pool bar is cash only. The location was ideal for us- one block to beach and close to several shops and restaurants. The property is clean and staff pleasant. We enjoyed our stay.

As the name impies it is walkable distance to the Fortlauderdale beach. Great location for people who like to have a beach walk everyday. Very close to museum and water rides. 1.5 hrs drive to Miami zoo, everglades farm and palm beach. Good place to stay close to the beach.

I would give the staff the highest score, they all were friendly and tried hard to be helpful. I personally expected more when a place calls itself a resort. Unfortunately it was far less. Starting with the two elevators, crammed in for a family of six. They're like 3'x3'. Had to wait long when other guest are in it. No room to get in. I made reservation for our family of six. The room has only 1 and a half bathrooms. The furnitures and sofa we had to re-arrange ourselves to make room to allow the wall bed to come down. Horrible is the only word for the sofa and wall mattresses. Not only were they paper thin, allowing every spring to be felt. But noisy. Just trying to roll over made such a racket waking everyone else up. The kids and I barely got any sleep. Finally, the only thing that really made this low score was the presence of roaches! Nothing can be worst than finding them in your room. No matter how clean the room looks, you lost that when there's roaches.
