We spent 6 nights at the St Mauritius hotel and had a really enjoyable stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained throughout. The breakfast was excellent. The evening restaurant is aimed at people looking for a speciality dining experience (rather than family dining) so we did not use it but it looked very good.

The hotel is luxurious but at a very affordable rate, especially for an upmarket resort like Forte dei Marmi, we felt that it was excellent value for money. The staff were pleasant and the food at both restaurants was excellent. The experience at Sciabola fine dining restaurant is fun, delicious and unpretentious. We also really enjoyed the live music evening, the spa and the ability to rent bikes. The location is an easy less than 5 min walk to the seafront and 10mins max to the shopping area. The only negative was that the swimming pool was unheated and very cold, this made getting into the pool unpleasant and we only swam for short periods, this is a real shame and is the only reason that we would not return.

Stayed for a long weekend and the staff especially the reception ladies and gentleman couldn’t have been anymore helpful with restaurants beach club’s shops etc . Bicycles were great Definitely return

I stayed at the St Mauritius in 2015 and have just come back from my third visit to Forte dei Marmi and once again everyone was so friendly at the hotel and our room was well appointed and clean. There is a great breakfast but the only thing I would have liked was better food around lunchtime. Apart from that the location is excellent, the rooms are quiet and the staff are wonderful.

The hotel staff was incredible and very helpful. The grounds were simply beautiful with lots of places to sit and relax around the pool. If you like to bike ride, you can grab a bike out back and head to the beach which is just a few minutes away! Enjoyed breakfast every morning with family.

We spent three days in this lovely hotel. We can’t believe some of the recent comments as our experience was amazing. The staff are incredible, so helpful and kind. The food in particular the breakfast was delicious with a really good choice. The pool isn’t heated but bearing in mind this is just the start of the season we still went in for an invigorating swim! The location is amazing, a 15 minute walk to the beach or the town, you certainly don’t need a car or bike!! We did hire bikes for the day and had a lovely cycle round, it’s very flat. The rooms are modern and well maintained and the public areas are so comfortable and furnished with lovely furniture. Very highly recommended so ignore the bad reviews!!

The hotel advertises that it has a spa and wellness centre-it is managed badly with awful customer service and the massage was so bad I ended it early. When I tried to discuss this with the manager of the hotel he was nowhere to be seen for the whole three days. The brushing off and delaying of my complaint tainted the trip. The bed was comfortable but rooms were dated and old. Reception staff were lovely and helpful.

I stayed here with my wife and daughter for 2 nights. It's a great place. Decorated well and spotless. The staff are very helpful. The food is amazing (breakfast and dinner). They make a lot of it fresh on site. Beds are comfortable. Can't fault it
