This was a great hotel. We stopped on our way from Michigan to Virginia Beach. This hotel had everything and helped us find anything we were looking for. Very good staff. we’re looking for somewhere to eat even though it was late the front desk gave us a menu and let us know what was open and how to get there.

My family and I chose this hotel for a weekend sleepover to celebrate our son's 5th birthday. The suite was clean and comfortable, and all of the staff (especially the breakfast crew) were friendly and accommodating. Thank you@

Sheryl at the front desk was absolutely wonderful she was so welcoming and extremely pleasant and kind. She is definitely a rare find these days because you can tell she is an employee that cares about people and wants to make your stay feel like home. I wish all of my staff at work were more like her.

We come here every year for the holidays! It’s always a wonderful time. Sierra at the front desk helped us get the perfect room with a fireplace. The pool and hot tub are open until 11, so there was plenty of time for shopping in downtown Frederick and going out for dinner before relaxing in the pool! The beds are so comfortable and the blackout curtains helped even the energetic 7 year old sleep in late. Breakfast was lovely in front of their fireplace, and they even had cold brew coffee available.

My son enjoyed the basketball hoop. The staff was friendly. Location was convenient. The room space was small, but we appreciated the separate living and sleeping space with a full kitchen!

Very comfortable and close to shops and restaurants. Would stay at Residence inn again.

Dirty underwear left on the floor. Hotel said they would change the room, but never did. Absolutely unacceptable. We were offered points as part of the loyalty program. But time to start thinking a better hotel brand.

An excellent hotel - great rooms, amenities, and staff. We’re Marriot upgraded us as to a two bed/two bath room. It’s a very quiet property (except for occasional plumbing noises). Parking and check-in were easy; we enjoyed time in the pool and game room; and breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. PS - they’ve got a basketball hoop and fire pit! Just ask for the equipment.

Conveniantly close to restaurants, shopping, movie theater and accept dogs.

We travel through Frederick a few times a year and have stayed at this RI several times. We will always stay here if we are anywhere nearby. The staff is consistently excellent, the building, grounds and services (pool, spa, workout area, breakfast area) are all well maintained and spotless. And most importantly, the guest rooms, although not new, are clean and comfortable. They followed my profile (on the Marriott website) to a "T". This particular trip I had need to request a room change (which had nothing to do with the room condition) and I spoke with Chris at the front desk as well as the housekeeping manager. They were both fabulous. Not everybody is able to handle the hospitality business. These two could give classes. Likewise the ladies running the breakfast area...it is beautifully appointed, clean and well stocked. We travel a lot and we rarely "look forward" to overnight stays on the road. But the RI Frederick is a wonderful exception.

This Residence Inn has all the things we need whilst on vacation. Good sized rooms, good parking, decent kitchen, lots of areas to sit and chat. Decent exercise room (needs to be larger and more equipment) , indoor pool and a good breakfast (but not great like the one in Cambridge MA). We received a great upgrade to a larger suite, easy elevator access. The staff really stand out - so kind and helpful and pleasant. Finally a good well connected to roads and highways location with a good set of stores and services within walking distance.

if you hear from staff "at least I'm trying to help." You know you are dealing with complete and utter rudeness. The staff here is not freindly and they know it. I recommend trying another spot. I don;t understand why people that are rude choose this line of work. If you are a rude person then hospitality is not for you.

Everything was good. Friendly, efficient staff. The property on the outside was well-maintained. My room was okay. There was noticeable ceiling damage in the bathroom but no observable leakage. Everything was satisfactory.

Convenient to have a kitchen. The breakfast at the property is fantastic!
