Having a 14 hour layover in Munich, I came to this Marriott. Everything is very clean. Comfortable rooms. Service that you expect at a Marriott-excellent. I want to recognize Amy in the restaurant. Despite being quite busy, she was attentive and helpful. Loved the wienerschnitzel!!! If you have time, do walk around the little charming village of Freising. Many shops and places to eat. The only thing I didn't like was that they could not print my final bill for review, probably because I didn't actually stay overnight. It was emailed the next day and it was correct. While I was there many crew from Lufthansa were there. Always a good sign when flight crew stay at a hotel.

Dit is een prima Duitse Gasthof. De kamers zijn ruim, simpel, netjes en schoon. Het bed is prima. De WIFI is goed en het ontbijt in buffet vorm, maar als je een ei wil kun je dat bestellen en wordt het vers gemaakt. Er is ook een restaurant, maar wij ik heb er niet gegeten. Het personeel is vriendelijk. Het hotel ligt 10min lopen van de universiteit, 15min van de Weihenstephan brouwerij, en 30min van het centrum/station. Voor de deur stopt de bus naar de universiteit, de stad en het station. Er is ook een parkeerplaats voor auto's achter het hotel en een biergarten (dicht gezien het weer)

The beds were pleasantly comfortable, even the added fold-out bed for our child. The rooms are small and nothing special but completely sufficient for one night. We found the room very quiet but would have preferred one with Air Conditioning. Ours was located in the sous-terrain and we could open the windows but there was a strong smell of smoke coming in from a nearby fireplace and we were only able to air it out by also opening the door to the hallway. Staff was very nice upon check in and check out. Overall a great value stay and we would consider it again when catching a morning flight out of MUC.

Hotel is fine, the staff is nice. Novotel airport is easy to reach by the public bus shuttle. No issue to catch a flight even very early in the morning. Rooms are very well equipped and comfortable. The squarish ”sleeping factory” design of the hotel features long corridors flanked with rabbit holes doors... Depending on where your room is located by reaching the lift, your daily jogging is done.
