My sixth visit says it all. Super friendly staff from reception to room cleaners. Spacious rooms and recently refurbished lobby, lounge and bar. Great value for money. Super breakfast but food at dinner could be a lot better. Salad counter is fine and dessert choice is good. The hot food buffet is not good.

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed food was poor bad quality and cold yes their was free wine but suspected cover for the poor quality food thread bare carpets and plaster falling off walls next door to a building site outside beggars seedy bars and pickpockets a flower seller tried to pick my husbands wallet in broad daylight walking with family my grandchildren were terrified would never go back to this hotel or area

i got the chance to go to malaga with my school and it was really fun and good. however there were other children from families a few levels above us who were throwing water balloons at the public. this was a problem for us because someone thought that just because we were a school of young kids they thought it was right to blame us. this resulted in us having a ban from our balconies for the next two nights and we were threatened to be taken out of the hotel with no proof it was us. the pool area could be improved as it is very small and crowded. it is also very difficult to find. there is unfinished work in the hotel as we were trying to get to the pool on our first day and we ended up in a dodgy, empty hallway. at the very top of the stairs there is also a very scary looking dark area which should be blocked off. there wasn’t much food up for grabs, had the same breakfast and dinner every day this was because there was no different choices of food. for my 5 night stay i was living off watermelon, churros and chips which shouldn’t be happening. i don’t mean to be extra picky but the chips weren’t even nice. i must point out how sensitive the staff were about one complaint of noise. there was a complaint about a group of 3 people n our school because of the noise, the next day because of that one complaint we got threatened to have the police called on us which is very unnecessary. one day me and my friends were just sitting out on the balcony trying to enjoy our free time with each other, but our peace was disturbed by some children a few doors down who were constantly meowing and after we politely told them to stop they refused. however the rooms were good condition and i liked my view of the beach and bars in front. it was good with how close a shop and beach was for us and i must give a shout-out to these lovely women who braided me and my friends hair. i appreciated the chairs and table that were left for us on the balcony. the bathroom was good and we didn’t find any inconveniences with our bedroom. it was cleaned every day and so was the bathroom. we liked how we all were politely invited to watch the football match on the ground floor ,next to reception. overall staff were polite, except the harsh threats of calling the police for no valid reason. the rooms were amazing and clean, just make it more clear where places are like the pool and block off empty areas of the hotel as this can cause confusion

Positives - location, on the front, opposite the marina and close to the many bars and restaurants of Fuengirola. Maids make up your room daily. There ends the positives. The exterior of the hotel looks like an Eastern European cold war tower block. Inside the reception area is light and airy if not garish and sterile. However, you don’t have to look too far to see the cracks. Crumbling plaster, threadbare stained carpets, dated decor and a general feel of apathy from the hotel management. The reception staff were at best ambivalent and at worse dismissive and arrogant. The apathetic theme continues into the restaurant with unhelpful staff and the same garish, sterile lighting contributing to a feel of eating in a staff canteen. The food was average at best. The bedroom was an average size but doesn’t look to have been updated for 30 years or more. If you are unlucky enough to have a room at the back of the hotel, the view is as bad as I have seen. It consists of a car park, skips, outbuildings in a state of disrepair and a building site. Talking of which, the hotel that is being built right next door will take many months to complete and you will be woken at 07.30 every morning by banging, drilling and shouting. The whole pool area is dilapidated and needs a complete overhaul. I have never seen anyone up there. If this hotel is 4 stars then the Ibis I stopped in last month was 15 stars. I have been coming to Spain for 40 years and this was like a step back in time to when us brits were easily pleased and just happy to be abroad. Times have changed, customers have much more choice and next time I will choose to stay elsewhere.

Reception staff. Polite cheery and helpful , only problem had was card for entry to room, food great selection, to please everyone, although few times, was cold,rooms where, clean, and stocked with towels, extra quilts, and soap, found all, the staff cheery, and helpful

The photos of the advertisement are not real. The hotel is in poor condition. depreciated, unmaintained. very noisy. There are several discos around it, and the pool bar is open until 3-4 in the morning. The air conditioners do not work. The food is of poor quality. THERE ARE COCKROACHES.
