Hotel berhampiran Fujisan Shrine, Fujiyoshida

Stayed at this accomodation one night. Room had no power to begin with, and staff had to scramble to fix the issue. Not a good first impression. Room was passable but staff are, quite frankly, terrible - trying to communicate with any of the staff even for simple requests (like trying to arrange a taxi) was like pulling teeth. It was advertised as a tourist hotel, but none of the staff seem to speak English - I understand not everyone does, that’s fine - but at least make an effort to assist or find someone who can - all I got was a shrug and staff staring at me as if I had two heads. Perhaps they need more training, because service is poor. If this was a cheaper place to stay it would be easier to overlook, but with the going rate of a room (not cheap) I expected better. Advertised as tourist Not good, and overall not a happy customer.

Sarapan pagi adalah bufet biasa. Terdapat kopi, susu, teh, jus segar, dan pelbagai jenis roti. Terutamanya makanan Barat, daging, telur, ikan, dan pelbagai sayur-sayuran dan buah-buahan. Lokasi hotel masih terasa agak menyusahkan bagi pelancong yang tidak memandu. Di hadapan hotel adalah Fuji-Q Highland, di mana terdapat perhentian bas yang menghubungkan pelbagai tarikan Tasik Kawaguchi, Tasik Yamanaka, Tasik Barat dan Stesen Kawaguchiko. Terdapat tiket satu hari dan dua hari untuk stesen. Stesen ini mempunyai aksara Cina.

The hotel was so clean, the service by the concierge was so friendly and approachable. Helped us to push and carry our luggage till our room door. The convenience stalls nearby made breakfast and supper a perfect go to! It was a good stay nearby the onsen which has free access for staying guests! The carpark was just located downstairs that you could also see your car! Love the visit! And will want to come back again!

Lokasinya agak mengelirukan, tetapi ia terasa seperti vila dua keluarga. Setiap tingkat mempunyai katil, dapur, bilik mandi dan tandas, jika anda adalah pasangan Adakah ia mudah untuk dimakan? Di atas bumbung, anda juga boleh memesan barbeku Anda dapat melihat Gunung Fuji apabila cuaca baik. Minuman tanpa had di dalam bilik Terdapat juga sebotol wain. - Kebersihan agak teruk, terutamanya kerana 1. Pengering rambut di tandas penuh dengan habuk dan tidak boleh digunakan 2. Terdapat juga banyak habuk pada kabinet TV dan panel penghawa dingin. - Persekitaran dalaman: Kecuali untuk kebersihan, semuanya hebat Contohnya, biliknya sangat besar, jauh lebih besar daripada hotel di Tokyo, dan beg pakaian boleh dibuka hahaha. Terdapat kabinet kasut di pintu masuk bilik dan bilik mandi di sebelahnya. Kawasan utama adalah tatami Katil, TV dan meja kopi kecil di atas tatami, yang sangat unik saya dan suami tidak menghidu bau yang pelik. - Persekitaran luar: Pemandangan tasik sangat bagus! Jika anda ingin melihat pemandangan gunung, anda tidak perlu menempah bilik pemandangan gunung, kerana terdapat tingkap besar di tangga untuk mengambil gambar Gunung Fuji🗻 - Perkhidmatan ini sangat baik Adik-adik Taiwan di kaunter penerimaan tetamu membantu mendaftar masuk, memperkenalkan restoran dan kemudahan rekreasi di sekeliling secara terperinci, dan juga memberikan peta yang comel dan praktikal. - Kemudahannya agak lama, tetapi tandas adalah TOTO pintar dan mempunyai semua yang diperlukan. - Terdapat kolam air panas percuma di tingkat pertama Terdapat kolam air panas awam yang berasingan untuk lelaki dan wanita. hebat!

Si vous n’êtes pas Japonais et pas motorisé cela risque d’être difficile pour vous. Le bâtiment de l’hôtel, sans charme extérieur (euphémisme) est difficilement atteignable par les transports en commun et cela est impossible le soir. Il existe une navette qui vient vous chercher le jour de votre arrivée et vous dépose à la gare le matin de votre départ ou pendant votre séjour (3 horaires le matin). Pour revenir il y a un créneau d’appel mais pour nous il n’a pas fonctionné. Les chambres sont très bien, grandes et avec une superbe vue sur le mont Fuji. Le personnel est serviable mais ne parle que très peu anglais et communique par google traduction. Cela peut amener a des confusions comme cela c’est passe pour nous. La personne qui nous a reçus s’est montrée particulièrement odieuse, ce qui n’a pas été le cas du reste du personnel fort heureusement. Pas de restaurants alentours la plupart n’ayant pas rouvert après l’épisode covid. Prix trop cher de mon point de vue, 250 euros/nuit pdj inclus, certes en très haute saison mais quand même. Mention spéciale au vieux monsieur qui conduit la navette, il parle anglais et est vraiment très bien.

I stayed at the Kogetsu for 2 nights in May and it was an unforgettable experience. Every detail was beautiful and thoughtful. I booked rather late and was not able to book the same room, so the first night I stayed in a Standard Western Style twin w open-air bath; and the second night in a Standard Japanese Modern w open-air bath (Triple). Both were on the 3rd (of 5) floors and both had stunning views of Mt Fuji. Both incorporated both Japanese and Western style. The first room had wood floors throughout and half-shoji screen doors so you could separate the bedroom and dining areas. It also had a small walk-in closet. The outdoor onsen was quite large (could easily fit 4 adults) and the patio was wider than in the Triple room. I posted pics of the Standard Western Style Twin and will post the pics of the Triple separately. In contrast the Triple room was larger and there was a gorgeous daybed (which becomes the 3rd bed) with windows on either side overlooking Mt Fuji. The onsen was a bit smaller (could easily fit 2 adults). The bedroom was carpeted, dining area had tatami-style mats, and hallway had wood floors. There was a wardrobe rather than walk-in closet in this room. Both rooms had a wet area for washing up before the onsen, a separate powder room, and separate toilet room. Honestly, you can’t go wrong - both rooms were gorgeous. I felt lucky to be here. One thing to note is that there is a boat launch beside the ryokan, so my open-air onsen on 3rd floor was not super private (there’s a screen to pull down if you want privacy, but it obscures the view). The 4th/5th floors would have more feeling of privacy. The kaiseki meals were beautifully displayed and delicious. The 2 nights’ menus were different but followed a similar (but not identical) format: 1) Aperitif, 2) Seasonal appetizers, 3) Soup, 4) Sashimi, 5) Main course (hot), 6) Steamed fish, 7) Grilled fish, 8) Palette cleanser, 9) simmered dish, 10) rice dish, and 11) dessert. My nakai, Fumiko-san, was lovely - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was also included - it was half- buffet, with an elegant bento box with appetizers and tamago. It also included delicious tempura, made to order and delivered to your table. The hotel has a happy hour from 2:30-6:30 where a limited selection of tea, coffee, nonalcoholic drinks, beer and wine are free. You can enjoy them on the gorgeous terrace overlooking Mt Fuji with your feet soaking in the footpath (just not in your room). Lastly there are shuttles every morning to Kawaguchiko Station or any of the tourist sights on the way, and the hotel will send a shuttle to pick you up when you are ready to come back. The location of this ryokan could not be better - close to some great museums and on the North shore of the lake, which has the best views (and away from the touristy South shore).
