HOTEL MYSTAYS Fuji Onsen Resort

Highly recommend. Spacious room, clean environment and free parking make the stay convenient while not compromise anything.  Also recommend the dinner buffet and breakfast included in the package, which have variety of food with a beatable price. Spring bath is a must try activity if time allows, actually it is on the top floor and easily accessible.  I chose the high floor and mountain view and lucky enough to catch the spectacular view of Mount Fuji at early morning 5am from my room, which was a bonus for my stay in this hotel. 

Hotel provides public onsen bath. There is a free shuttle service for guests coming from kawaguchiko but you have to look it up on their website and prebook. Otherwise you can take the fujikyu express train to the fujikyu highland station. Do note that the highway bus does not bring you near the hotel.

Generally speaking, I enjoyed the stay at the hotel. Convenient with its location close to the station. With nice hot spring on the top of the building. I experienced the M6 earthquake during my stay at night. The staff are quickly came to check the hot spring floor if all the guests are alright. The had blocked the lifts and open the staircase door to go down. The Public announcement through the speaker in room told the guests no need to panic… For housekeeping, they need to improve as we found our room did not close the room door after made up the room. HSKP card still left at the entrance and seems waiting for room inspection?? But we strongly concern our belongings and safety. The English level of the front desk team are so so. Few are below. Breakfast are alright. The menu are the same for my stay for 2 nights. Staff are helpful.

The hotel is perfectly located. There is a train station and an amusement park within walking distance. There are shops nearby. The room is very clean and cozy, and the staff is friendly. Coffee is served free of charge at the reception downstairs. We managed to see fuji from the window of our room. The staff is very friendly, the onsen is clean and full of necessary care products. I would especially like to mention the breakfasts-they are simply excellent, especially the French bread toasts from the picture-just bliss! I would love to come back again

We enjoy our stay at this very nice hotel. We booked total 5 rooms. We were booked into the room with the view of Mt-Fuji. Enjoy the sight of Mt-Fuji during our stay.

Recommend by my friend on this hotel and book the room for triple. Made the right choice as there is more space and able to watch Mt Fuji right in my room. It is a 5mins walk from Fuji-Q station. Hotel does provide free shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko station but need advanced booking. There are free amenities and there is public onsen for a relaxing evening after one whole day of sightseeing. We booked the breakfast and dinner buffets. Dinner was good because of the beef, however the menu doesn’t change hence, we got tired of eating the same food but given no choice as there are not much eateries around. Wish the menu can change abit. Overall, we are lucky to get a clear view of mt Fuji on 1st day.. then was hit by typhoon ended next 3 days can’t see much. Went to the amusement park to play the rides which was fun if you are daring. Staff are very friendly. Will highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent view of Mt Fuji. The restaurant was a bit crowded (probably because the food was good and you can still see Mt fuji from.the restaurant), but you can usually get in within 15 minutes.
