A decent hop for the 2nd part of the trip and my first time trying a somewhat local Japanese hotel chain. 🍀 I knew the experience would be a step down after RC but I’m glad the property served its purpose well for what it was. The location in Nakasu Kawabata is a little off a beaten track but walking is a great way to burn off those calories! 😆 Definitely glad I paid more for a bigger space for 2pax as otherwise our luggage survive. The space is simple and thankfully clean as expected of a Japanese hotel but the color themes made the ambience feel old despite the fact that the hotel is only 3yo 🐌 The tiny gym has my fav rower which is all that mattered to me. The breakfast was also surprisingly varied and actually high quality and was a win amongst us 🍀 Service was bare bones of course and the language barrier didn’t help. PSA: their definition is “deposit” at check in is actually payment so rem to use the right card if that’s important to you 😭

We stayed here for two nights in the beginning of our trip to Japan and for one night at the end of our trip. The hotel allowed us to store a lot of luggages at the hotel when we travelled elsewhere. The staff is very service minded and my daughter even got gifts at check in. The rooms were very clean. We also got a room upgrade for our last night. The location is as good as it can be with its own subway entrance. The breakfast is delicious. However, Please note that unusually for Japan five year olds have to pay for breakfast (1650 JPY). Overall we had a great stay and I highly recommend this hotel. If I return to Fukuoka I will stay here.

I've been to Fukuoka multiple times and previously stayed at other establishments that simply cannot match the Ritz. Got a king room for my honeymoon. Really appreciate Sanjay and rest of staff making us feel very appreciated from check-in until departure. The level of attentiveness was impressive, and people here speak good English. Location is quite good, close to metro/bus stops, Ohori park, and plenty of eateries/shopping/yatai's. Room is as modern as you'd expect. Bed and bathroom are very comfortable - other hotels are going to struggle to match this level of sophistication. I really appreciated the amount of space vs the typical Japanese hotel. Great amount of amenities. Minor suggestions for improvement - in-room snacks - we got the impression that several of the snacks were complimentary. After we checked out, we discovered that they were not, an unpleasant surprise. Some better communication here would be valuable. Late check out - as an Elite member at check-in we were told that late check out would be offered. However, on the day of I discovered that I still had to call to ask for late check out, and then I had to wait a bit until they called back to confirm. The small details matter in delivering a flawless experience. Still, these are relatively minor things and overall we were very satisfied with our stay. On our next stay to lovely Fukuoka we'd definitely only stay here. Book it, you won't regret it.

New and modern hotel with spacious rooms. There’s also several onsen options with both indoor and outdoor selections. The breakfast is superb with a good selection of Japanese cuisines. The hotel also offers free drinks and ice cream. If you don’t mind its location which is away from city centre, you should go for this.

Extended our stay for one more night due to Typhoon 10. Enjoyed the swimming pool and dinner at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, loved the lobster bisque!
