Ulasan Hotel Baia Azul

We really enjoyed our stay at Baia Azul. This hotel has everything! Gorgeous views from the lounge area, a lovely bar with entertainment at night, excellent service, lovely comfortable rooms, and a very nice pool area. We cannot fault it! The breakfast was also lovely. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel has great location, amazing view and pretty good rooms with balconies. The only thing is some problems with ventilation system in the kitchen so in lobby and in the main restaurant you can smell everything they cooked.

Great hotel The room we booked was not the basic room as shown on your site, but when we arrived at the hotel they said it was due to the price. So paid 24 more for nothing.

Excellent hotel with oustanding location, service and food. Perfect spot for a perfect vacation in Madeira.

訂房時的相片有露台，但實際是沒有，今人大失所望，如果沒有露台我是不考慮此洒店！但其他設施及服務都非常好，晚上在洒廊或大堂可以聽歌飲嘢，很有氣氛，餐廳環境很好，可以看着大海食早餐，食物也很好味，職員非常友善。

Hotel bem localizado muito próximo do centro do Funchal. Boas instalações e disponibilidade dos funcionários.

Отличный большой отель. Много немецких пенсионеров. Очень хорошее местоположение - на берегу океана, рядом большой торговый центр Форум и пляж Формоза. На 1 или 2 автобусе дорога до центра Фуншала занимает 12 минут. Завтраки очень разнообразные, но очереди за кофе после 8 утра. Проходят на этаже с потрясающим видом на океан, можно сидеть на улице. Не понравились бассейны - с красивым видом, но неглубокие, везде воды по пояс. Только для детей. Кондиционер работает только на охлаждение - в номере было холодно.

Un hôtel très propre, agréable. Facile d’accès la piscine face à la mer. Petit déjeuner avec un choix varié. Personnel très agréable. Lit et chambre tout confort.

We stayed for a week B&B in room 929 which overlooks the road and car park which was noisy with the window open but fine when shut. It was very clean although we both found the bed uncomfortable. The breakfast was great, plenty of hot and cold choice, with passable bean to cup coffee and loads of seating. There isn’t much free parking at the front but there are plenty of spaces (paid and free) in the area if you don’t fancy the 10 euro underground car park charge. The hotel is in a lovely area, there’s a shopping centre nearby with a big Pingo Doce supermarket (with decent eat in or takeaway self service food), and lots of bars and restaurants. It’s about a 45 minute pleasant walk into Funchal but there is an infrequent courtesy bus. All the staff were friendly.

Excellant stay in hotel the staff at reception very helpful , the rooms were lovley , mini bar was a bonus towels for pool , maid service every day in room they did amazing job . The breakfast was lovley lots of lovley fresh fruits , cheeses , meats , breads hot food etc definitely one of the best and breakfasts we have had in a long time , Pool area was nice and great we bar and snacks , The terrace at reception was great to sit out in the evening with great views , overall the whole hotel and staff were excellent could not fault it .

Excellent hotel , rooms , reception , location , restaurant all lived up to expectations . Courtesy coach into Funchal centre was a bonus . Reception staff extremely helpful .

The hotel is elegant and peaceful with beautiful oceanfront view. We were welcomed witha glass of Madeira wine which we enjoyed on the terrace- unforgettable beginning of vacation. Check-in was quick, room perfectly cleaned and spacious. I recommend a room with a direct view of the ocean, definitely worth it. Pool area modern with plenty of sunbeds, there is also an indoor pool where you can enjoy aquaaerobic on some days - great fun with energetic trainer. The hotel has also a small, well-maintained gym with pool view. You can easily walk to Funchal city center, it may take around 30 minutes but it’s quite enjoyable. Great highlight of the hotel in its restaurant with luxurious variety of delicious options and oceanfront terrace. Each day you can enjoy a glass of champagne with your breakfast sitting on sunlit tarrace with unlimited view of the Atlantic Ocean. I recommend to have a coffee with sweet pastry on the side terrace; there you seat surrounded by the greenery of hotel’s herb garden and blues of the ocean - what a unique memory!

We've just returned from our second holiday at the Baia Azul and we'll certainly be back. The hotel is excellent in every respect and offers superb value for money. Customer service is exceptional throughout the hotel with special mention to the reception staff, Leonel at breakfast, Code and Arabella who looked after our room. They were always smiling and were very professional. The free shuttle bus is very useful for getting to and from Funchal. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to returning.
