We had our Wedding at the Clifton Arms Hotel recently and we could not have received better Service and Support from Kath, Emma , Molly and the rest of the Clifton Arms Team . They were great to work with and provided a perfect day we will remember for the rest of our lives . Beautiful Hotel and Venue. Thank you

Wasn’t expecting much to be fair but how wrong can one be? Beautiful decor. Friendly welcome. The food was plenty and really nice xx Good choice. The cocktail list had lots of choice. It was full with a great atmosphere. Best of all were the amazing staff. We had Dan who was polite and made sure we got everything with a smile. All the staff were excellent. We were not rushed and had an amazing time. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. Well done The Clifton Arms.

Lovely hotel, very clean and nicely decorated. Room very spacious, we were lucky enough to have a view of the Ribble Estuary. Comfy beds, lots of storage. Lovely food. Staff all very helpful and friendly, especially the Italian waiter at breakfast who kept bursting into song. Only "con" was there was no safe in the bedroom which I would have liked. Would definitely stay here again.

The downstairs areas are lovely (except the gents toilets) The bedroom we stayed in is seriously in need of refurbishment. Serious money needs spending on refurbishment of the bedrooms. Real pity as this hotel should be one of the best in the North West. For the price paid there are far better options. We would not stay here again. Good points Lovely bar area and restaurant Staff are excellent with great service Breakfast OK Sea view from bedroom lovely Bad points Not very good quality bed Bed side lights in need of replacing fittings on top loose and wobble Carpet very old and stained, needs replacing Furniture old chipped, needs replacing Window sills paint missing Bathroom door paint poor Table dirty Chair by window torn cover Room cold, radiator didn't get very warm Bathroom over mirror light not working and 1 ceiling bulb not working Cracked tiles bathroom floor Mould around outside of shower

Lovely staff. Bedroom furniture dated. Pillows lumpy. Bed made ok but not tucked properly so uncomfortable sheets ruttled at the foot of the bed. Breakfast poor tbh, poached eggs overcooked. Car parking easy. Location good. Towels rough.

We just love this hotel and keep on returning! We cannot fault the service, friendliness of the staff, the rooms and the whole contemporary feel. We booked a classic double and it was wonderful. Spotlessly clean, huge, lots of wardrobe space, a lovely table with 2 chairs, coffee and tea making facilities with delicious biscuits and the most amazing bathroom. The hotel is relaxing and we love the refurbished bar area and restaurant. The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. Thanks again! We have promised ourselves a longer stay next time!

The hotel has a fantastic location. It has a modern but still old world charm. Our room was excellent at the rear. Friends did not have the same experience. Food was good but service could be at a higher level. Tables in side rooms were not cleared quickly.

We arrived at the hotel with friends on Friday afternoon. We were allocated rooms on the second floor and these seemed to be ok. After dinner in Lytham we returned to the hotel to find that our rooms were anything but ok. A party with loud music was in full swing and we discovered to our dismay that our rooms were next to and immediately above the ballroom where the party was taking place. The noise in our room was unbearable! After two visits to reception we were informed that the music would go on until midnight which indeed it did with no reduction in volume. The next day we asked to see a manager but the meeting proved very unsatisfactory. The one thing we discovered was that the hotel usually only allocated our rooms to people attending the function because of the noise and disturbance. We had been allocated these rooms despite the management being fully aware of this problem. The hotel is not a cheap one and as paying guests we would certainly not expect to be allocated rooms subject to such significant disruption. Needless to say we will not be returning to this hotel

Booked a room in March for a two night stay and n September. Got a message day before we arrived to say they had a function at the hotel the next day. We were given a room directly above the ballroom with throbbing very loud music and strobe lighting coming through the curtains until midnight. The breakfast next morning was poor fruit not replenished and when l ordered toast was told there was toast already on the adjacent table ordered by another couple. The manager was sorry we didn’t like the music but said what did we expect in a hotel that had functions we had been informed the day before there was a function on. The room had no wardrobe just a little storeroom off the bedroom. I can honestly say that value for money rates extremely low and l would not stay there again. The young staff at breakfast on Sunday were lovely in complete contrast to the woman who served us the previous morning. At £420 for two nights bed and breakfast l would expect a much better room and without the awful racket we endured on Friday night
