Hotel Daerah Galle dengan Bar

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay although in some respects it was inferior to other hotels I stayed in on the holiday. The pools were great and so was the view from the room. The room itself was alright - quite basic but sufficient. We did have problems with a leak in the ceiling which was promptly addressed by staff but still a little annoying. In general the staff were lovely: in particular Chamindu in the restaurant, a security guard who called me and my partner over to show us turtles on the beach (sorry, can't remember his name) and the guy working the sunloungers at the lower pool. The weakest part was probably the food. It wasn't bad exactly, it was just worse than the food in all the other hotels I stayed in.

We visited during off-season, so there were very few other guests. The first morning we had an unusual ”set” breakfast, which was understandable as no buffet was offered when there were so few guests. Water pressure/temperature was unstable and there was a weird pulsating noise in the bathroom. On the positive side, the staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. It's a lovely estate in absolute terms and stunning in relative terms. Very near the trendy fort area, which is worth a visit. Overall pleased.

バワ建築のインフィニティプールがステキなホテルです。お客さんはスリランカの方と思われる方が多かったです。新婚旅行のような方も多かったですが、家族やファミリー連れも意外と多かったです。 ホテルは少し古いものの、作りはしっかりしていて、水回りも問題ありませんでした。 レストラン以外のサービスはとてもよかったです。レストランはランチで頼んだものが30分以上かかって出てくる感じです。しかも少し冷めていました。 朝食のコーヒーもかなり時間がかかって出てきました。ハウスキーピングや受付周りの方はとてもよかったです。

2023.9.28出發來到斯裏蘭卡，入住加勒古堡的Amangalla酒店，一家打卡的第六家安縵，感覺非常棒。Amangalla建於17世紀，前身是荷蘭的軍事指揮部，後來成為斯裏蘭卡的第一家酒店，1995被安縵集團收購，酒店不大，但是麻雀雖小 五臟俱全，有游泳池、按摩池、瑜伽室等，可以體會當地刮臉服務和足底按摩。 Amangalla是我住過的最小的一家安縵，在加勒古城的正中間，到燈塔10分鐘走路路程。周圍吃喝玩樂非常方便，有一家the tuna and the crab餐廳，是科倫坡米其林一星餐廳的兄弟店，銀子夠的話可以嘗一下。 一定要選擇他的茶園巡遊項目，中間還會帶你去看海龜孵化基地和高蹺釣魚。非常有趣，雖然我高蹺釣魚的時候掉下來踩到了岩石，受了傷，但是收穫了有趣的照片和難得的人生體驗。加勒古城也是非常值得轉的，amangalla可以安排車和導遊，酒店就在古城中心，位置好，去哪都很方便。雖然我高蹺釣魚掉海裏，把腳劃破了。總起來說，還是很有趣的經歷。 斯裏蘭卡的兩家安縵和之前住的幾家不一樣，離科倫坡比較遠，不提供免費接送機服務，我們五個人是大車amangalla接機費用大約400美金。需要注意的是兩個安縵有連續訂多少天的活動一般需要從官網定才算數，從攜程代理訂不算。

Set in a historic building, Number 48 Galle Fort is a bed and breakfast with cosy rooms offering four-poster beds and free WiFi. Featuring a large collection of artwork and antiques, the property has its own restaurant. Number 48 Galle Fort is 100 metres from Dutch Church Galle, 200 metres from Galle Fort and 400 metres from Galle International Cricket Stadium. Rooms come with wooden or tiled flooring and a desk. All are air-conditioned and have a seating area and wardrobe. Private bathroom comes with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. At Number 48 Galle Fort you will find a garden, terrace and bar. Other facilities include a shared lounge, an ironing service and laundry facilities.

This was our favourite hotel of our trip. It really was a slice of perfect paradise, from check in to check out . We stayed 3 nights and really wished we could have stayed longer. All the staff were fantastic, nothing seemed to be to much trouble for them. Everyone was extremely friendly and happy to have a chat. Our room was perfect, very spacious and clean. The balcony was a fantastic size. We were there on bed and breakfast but ended up eating lunch and dinner as the food was great, lots of choice and so fresh. It's in a great location, we walked to Galle and also up to Jungle Beach, but there are also plenty of tuk tuks. After travelling for a week it really was the perfect place to relax and unwind before we headed home.

This place is seamless and standards are absolutely as expected from a property of this calibre. The rooms and common areas are immaculate and put together beautifully. Thoughtful details such as complimentary afternoon tea, happy hour in the bar and a la carte breakfast makes this place a cut above. The pool area is a tasteful, calm and immaculate oasis in the middle of the bustling fort. Staff are top notch, fluent English speakers and aware of the customer service needs of their clientele. The property itself is stunning and carefully restored with original features throughout in keeping with the heritage regulations of the fort. There is also a free guided tour/heritage walk of the fort with an expert archaeologist who has worked with planning permissions and renovating many of the buildings in recent years. It was a pleasure speaking with him and learning more about the unesco site. Sugath the head chef came to speak with me personally when I requested more local Sri Lankan cuisine and made me an exquisite bespoke lunch which was the absolute highlight of my trip. Avi and Lihini also went above and beyond to ensure we had our comforts met. Thank you all! We very much look forward to returning here on our next visit to Sri Lanka.
