This guest house has a long history and is in a convenient position near the Flag Rock Bastion. The people who run it are so kind and I felt very much at home. I appreciated the air conditioning, wi-fi, included drinking water and tea and the washing line on the roof. The breakfast cost extra but was very good.

We had an excellent stay at Ceylon Olive for three nights in August 2023. The warm welcome you feel continues throughout your stay as the staff are amazing that they take care of you with every little help. We were treated like a part of the family from the arrival and the owner Kumudu invited us to have meals together with his family, which was a great experience. The food was amazing with authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. We felt that the hotel was a hidden gem in Galle, with five-minute Tuk Tuk drive away from Unesco world Heritage site of Dutch Fort and stunning Unawatuna beach. Ceylon olive was one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed at. The pool, outdoor shower, stunning rooms, and peaceful environment were among the best. Thank you so much to Kumudu and everyone at Ceylon Olive for an unforgettable holiday.

The Hotel has a great location @ the beach. The view is amazing from you’re balcony. But during our stay, the weather was realy windy, sow it was to dangerous to swim in the sea. But they have a Free shuttle transport to an other beach what was realy relax! The staff is very kind and the food was good. We had a lovely time overthere. Kind regards, enjoy you’re Holliday

I recently visited this hotel for dinner with my family, and while the atmosphere was pleasant, we had a few issues that significantly affected our experience. One of my uncles developed a rash and a severe headache after the meal, which required us to visit the hospital for treatment. The doctor had to prescribe medication to address his condition. Additionally, we were surprised to find that the noodles served were made from local Maggi noodles, which felt out of place in a restaurant setting. We expected a higher quality ingredient for the price we paid. We had a terrible experience there! So disappointed after my uncle got a rash very painful!

From booking the villa almost a year ago to finally being able to visit in Dec 2023, our whole experience was amazing. Firstly a big thank you to Christophe and Diane who took their time to arrange everything we requested for both Christmas and New Years and made my Father's 75th birthday super special. Christophe and Diane were so accommodating and even arranged a video call with us ahead of our stay to ensure we were all set to go as it was a group of 8 of us and we had hired the whole villa! Approaching the villa itself is mind-blowing and you just realise that it is just as stunning as the pictures. As soon as we got there we were given a tour by Christophe himself and we got to meet all of the staff at the villa who became like our family over our 10 nights stay. Manju and his whole team are so friendly and couldn't do enough for all of us, we truly miss them all so much. The rooms are all amazing and have unique decor, each with an ensuite. The pool area is so peaceful and we spent a lot of time out here in each day just listening to the peacock which roamed around on the grounds and could also see the monkeys in the surrounding trees. One of my favourite spots had to be in the upstairs games room which has 2 swinging chairs where you could sit with your coffee and just listen to the surrounding nature (just felt so zen). We also made use of the gym which was definitely needed after all the delicious food we were eating each day. Christmas Day which was also the same day as our dad's 75th birthday was arranged so well. Christmas dinner was amazing and the fireworks and cake which were arranged ahead of our stay made the whole evening really special. Getting around from the villa to the nearby beaches and Galle was easy to arrange. We just had to let Manju know and he arranged for 3 Tuk Tuk's to take us around and these were very reasonably priced. He also arranged our day trip to Ella with a comfortable mini van which was a memorable trip for us all. Overall we cannot fault our stay and we would love to come back to the Divine. Our last day was emotional as we felt we were leaving family behind, Manju and team we truly miss you and thank you for everything you did for us and making our stay so special.

We found thus hotel and really enjoyed our stay. It has a lovely garden with nature all around. A nice pool. A lot of nice sitting places. The rooms are spacious with a terrace . Air conditioned. Nice shower with plenty of hot water..very relaxing...

We recently stayed 11 days at this hotel and it did not disappoint. All of the members of staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The decor of the hotel is lovely, full of character and immaculately clean. We had a ground floor suite which was stunning. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes and all the meals that we had were excellent. After visiting other hotels in the area we definitely felt that we had made the right choice. Fantastic for a relaxing holiday for all of the family! I stayed few times at this hotel of which one time 2 months. It is central and close to everything. The rooms are very comfortable and there is also a communal kitchenette. The owner gave me access to the gym for free which was ofcourse a great service. I had room number one which gave me full view to the ocean as well as the backside village which I really enjoyed. I highly recommend this place

Shinagawa Beach was a delightful escape for our family. The serene environment, coupled with pristine beaches, provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The staff's hospitality was remarkable; they made sure every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We particularly loved the variety of activities available, from lounging by the beach to exploring nearby attractions. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious, offering a mix of local and international cuisine. Overall, it was a memorable family vacation that we would love to repeat.
