Angel Beach Unawatuna

We can not say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive to details. We arrived at 3:00am and the hotel had prepared some fruit and sandwiches for our arrival. My wife is celiac and the staff did an amazing job ensuring there were food options available for her. They even prepared traditional Sri Lankan food for us to try. The beach club gets very busy during the day but we still felt like the only guests there. This place has a great island vibe with music and different entertainment daily. We will definitely be returning before the end of our trip.

Our second time here and won't be the last.. The menu at angel beauch is nothing short of good selection. Each dish is a masterpiece, showcasing a fusion of flavors and a commitment to culinary excellence. Fantastic choice of cocktails 🍸 The service was good and its a wonderful place to enjoy your evening.

Great stay at Angel Beach! The rooms are lovely, and have everything you need (including air con, fridge, and even robes and slippers!). The staff are very friendly, especially Lasitha, Chamika, Hiroshan, chef Binar, Srimal, Nilanga, and the 2 trainee guys. We stayed for 3 nights and had a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options, and the food was amazing! The hotel is right on a beautiful beach, and very close to the famous ‘rope swing’ and turtle point beach. Nicest beaches we came across in Sri Lanka. The sunbeds are big and super comfy, and the pool was enjoyed. Would recommend!

We were very happy here and had a good holiday! The staff, especially Shan, is very warm and attentive! Souvenirs were also given! It's very well written in Chinese! I'm very moved. The hotel facilities and equipment are also very good! There are also many kinds of rice, which is very suitable for your taste. I like the decoration style of the hotel room very much! The dance party and swimming pool are great! If we come again next time, we will definitely stay here for a few more days! I like the sign of wings very much! A perfect, pleasant and surprising journey!

A real gem in the world of Sri Lanka service! You get there and it's really like heaven, amazing service, tasty food, nice music and amazing beach! Everything is very clean and the management and staff is just amazing! Totally recommend and will be back for sure!

Great beach club, perfect restaurant and great service! On the first day had issue with tuk tuk drivers in front of the beach club, notified the management and serious actions were taken to prevent this kind of cases in future. Great place, highly recommend.

Just amazing, even from the first moment you walk through the front door, you are made to feel special. The place is great to relax next to the pool or the beach. Great atmosphere and a good DJ. The food is out of this world even something basic like fried cashew nuts were so good. It's so good we have booked for tomorrow. A big thank you to Delshan for organizing our amazing day and also to our waiter Nirosh (Very professional)

Very loud music at 9 pm Tuesday night ruining the atmosphere. Food and service good. Good quality softer music would have earned a 4 rating . Nice setting by the beach Fried rice with seafood good. Cocktails also acceptable But noise levels ruined the experience

Loud banging music during daytime from a dj who can't properly mix, micro portions of food like from children's menu for the adult price, average food quality, dangerous beach with rip current, not working showers, dirty pool. Will not be back 100%
