Hotel berhampiran Sri Lanka Glory’ which was in distress off Rumassala coast., Daerah Galle

We had a wonderful stay at the Thaprobane Pavilion Resort and Spa hotel. Location is great, Hotel is located near to the sea. The view of the evening sea from the hotel was breathtaking. The hotel consists with two stunning outdoor pools plus a luxury spa and a Gym. Me and my family really enjoyed two night stay.The receptionist team was very friendly and professional. Also the hotel staff was really helpful and so friendly. The family room was spacious and comfortable. Food here was superb and delicious. A lot of local and international food varieties. As the hotel is pet friendly, we can enjoy our stay with our lovely pets.I Would definitely stay here again and i'll highly recommend this hotel to both Foreign and Local travelors.

I booked a bungalow at Sergeant House for a 2-day stay in July for me and my family during our visit to Sri Lanka. This experience was very different from staying at regular star hotels. Sergeant House is an old mansion that has been renovated to include modern facilities while preserving its original look and feel. The rooms were very spacious. The one I booked had three bedrooms, and the master bedroom featured an outdoor bathroom. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the food—it's amazing, and hats off to the chef! I ordered lunch off the menu because I wanted to try authentic Sri Lankan food, and the chef arranged it for us. The taste was so satisfying that I ordered it again for the next day’s lunch. If you want to have a massage, you don’t need to go out as it's available on the property in a very relaxing environment. I did enjoy it and highly recommend giving it a try. Additionally, Sergeant House has a private beach, which, although not beachfront, is easily accessible by crossing the road. We spent a good three hours there, although we didn't swim as the sea was rough. The 24-hour pool was another great feature—we had a night swim, and it was a fantastic experience. Overall, Sergeant House is beautiful and provides a unique and wonderful stay. I will surely be back when I return to Sri Lanka. Thank you for taking care of us during our stay!

Tucked in down Lighthouse Street within the fort at Galle you’ll find the Charleston, and what a find it is! It’s a modern boutique hotel with fantastic rooms and amazing bathrooms. And there’s even a pool! The staff were welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfast can be taken in the dining room or on the terrace overlooking the sea. It’s good and served from a small a la carte menu. The hotel decor is to an exceptionally high standard, reflecting the art deco theme, and it was immaculately clean. As an added bonus the first floor terrace faces west where you can enjoy the spectacular views of the sunset whilst sipping the hotel’s signature cocktails. If you’re looking to stay an exceedingly good hotel within the walls of Galle Fort, I’d highly recommend the Charleston

2023.9.28出發來到斯裏蘭卡，入住加勒古堡的Amangalla酒店，一家打卡的第六家安縵，感覺非常棒。Amangalla建於17世紀，前身是荷蘭的軍事指揮部，後來成為斯裏蘭卡的第一家酒店，1995被安縵集團收購，酒店不大，但是麻雀雖小 五臟俱全，有游泳池、按摩池、瑜伽室等，可以體會當地刮臉服務和足底按摩。 Amangalla是我住過的最小的一家安縵，在加勒古城的正中間，到燈塔10分鐘走路路程。周圍吃喝玩樂非常方便，有一家the tuna and the crab餐廳，是科倫坡米其林一星餐廳的兄弟店，銀子夠的話可以嘗一下。 一定要選擇他的茶園巡遊項目，中間還會帶你去看海龜孵化基地和高蹺釣魚。非常有趣，雖然我高蹺釣魚的時候掉下來踩到了岩石，受了傷，但是收穫了有趣的照片和難得的人生體驗。加勒古城也是非常值得轉的，amangalla可以安排車和導遊，酒店就在古城中心，位置好，去哪都很方便。雖然我高蹺釣魚掉海裏，把腳劃破了。總起來說，還是很有趣的經歷。 斯裏蘭卡的兩家安縵和之前住的幾家不一樣，離科倫坡比較遠，不提供免費接送機服務，我們五個人是大車amangalla接機費用大約400美金。需要注意的是兩個安縵有連續訂多少天的活動一般需要從官網定才算數，從攜程代理訂不算。

From booking the villa almost a year ago to finally being able to visit in Dec 2023, our whole experience was amazing. Firstly a big thank you to Christophe and Diane who took their time to arrange everything we requested for both Christmas and New Years and made my Father's 75th birthday super special. Christophe and Diane were so accommodating and even arranged a video call with us ahead of our stay to ensure we were all set to go as it was a group of 8 of us and we had hired the whole villa! Approaching the villa itself is mind-blowing and you just realise that it is just as stunning as the pictures. As soon as we got there we were given a tour by Christophe himself and we got to meet all of the staff at the villa who became like our family over our 10 nights stay. Manju and his whole team are so friendly and couldn't do enough for all of us, we truly miss them all so much. The rooms are all amazing and have unique decor, each with an ensuite. The pool area is so peaceful and we spent a lot of time out here in each day just listening to the peacock which roamed around on the grounds and could also see the monkeys in the surrounding trees. One of my favourite spots had to be in the upstairs games room which has 2 swinging chairs where you could sit with your coffee and just listen to the surrounding nature (just felt so zen). We also made use of the gym which was definitely needed after all the delicious food we were eating each day. Christmas Day which was also the same day as our dad's 75th birthday was arranged so well. Christmas dinner was amazing and the fireworks and cake which were arranged ahead of our stay made the whole evening really special. Getting around from the villa to the nearby beaches and Galle was easy to arrange. We just had to let Manju know and he arranged for 3 Tuk Tuk's to take us around and these were very reasonably priced. He also arranged our day trip to Ella with a comfortable mini van which was a memorable trip for us all. Overall we cannot fault our stay and we would love to come back to the Divine. Our last day was emotional as we felt we were leaving family behind, Manju and team we truly miss you and thank you for everything you did for us and making our stay so special.

An unforgettable experience at Riff Hikkaduwa during the weekend from 31st Aug to 01st Sep. Celebrated DS Senanayake Collage 88 Ledgen's party with 84 batchmates. From the GM to all capacities of staff were exceptionally great and the beautiful property added value because of them. The rooms were very clean, and the food was exceptional with a good spread. All staff were up till 2AM with smiling faces letting us enjoy to the maximum. We decided to visit this place even with our families. Thanks to all for lovely hospitality. Sajitha D Sumanasekera

I stayed few times at this hotel of which one time 2 months. It is central and close to everything. The rooms are very comfortable and there is also a communal kitchenette. The owner gave me access to the gym for free which was ofcourse a great service. I had room number one which gave me full view to the ocean as well as the backside village which I really enjoyed. I highly recommend this place

Shinagawa Beach was a delightful escape for our family. The serene environment, coupled with pristine beaches, provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The staff's hospitality was remarkable; they made sure every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We particularly loved the variety of activities available, from lounging by the beach to exploring nearby attractions. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious, offering a mix of local and international cuisine. Overall, it was a memorable family vacation that we would love to repeat.

Плюсы отеля - очень неплохой завтрак, ужин. Шведский стол. Очень изобильный. Есть и морепродукты , и местная кухня. Очень вкусно. Также хочется отметить традиционное для сети Марриот качество постели. Спалось на нем прекрасно. Пляж в этом месте отличный. Можно спокойно купаться - волны не такие сильные. Всё очень живописно , если пройти налево и направо. Теперь о недостатках. К сожалению, их больше. Персонал очень не вежлив, чувствовалось, что тебе здесь не рады, делают одолжение. Наигранные улыбки. В день выезда чуть позже 12 на несколько минут персонал стал стучаться в дверь и требовать освободить номер. Разве это достойно такой сети отелей ? Когда попытался расплатиться на ресепшн картой Юнион Пэй, персонал сказал, что терминал для российских карт не работает. Хотя, в других местах и отелях на Шри-Ланке всё работало без проблем и удавалось оплатить везде. Такое поведение я объясняю неклиенториентированностью, что опять же, очень странно для отеля такой сети, как Марриот и для сервиса. Также я хочу отметить, что в этом отеле не оказалось ортопедических подушек или любых других подушек - при попытке узнать про эту возможность, мне грубо ответили , что других подушек нет и всё. В общем, за персонал, сервис и его отношение - жирный минус и плохая оценка
