Amritara Luxury Villa Tosca, Gangtok

We stayed for 4 nights at Amritara luxury villa Tosca. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which has a great view of the Kanchenjunga mountain range. What made the stay wonderful was the exceptional service and hospitality provided by Meghanath and Roshni and their team to make our stay most comfortable. All our needs were taken care of and we were looked after very well. Chef Sonu catered to our special requests and the food was delicious. Would love to be back here to feel pampered, relax and have a great holiday. Thank you very much

It was over-all a good stay in the hotel. Meghnad and his team was very courteous and professional in providing services. Good luck to the management. Every items are well selected in the room and ambience is also very nice. Cleanness is very well maintained.

This charming little hotel is more like a serviced apartment. There are 3 apartments in total. Ours was a family room with 2 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms had a large double bed while the second one had two bunk beds but it was very charmingly decorated for children. There was a small hall with a kitchenette and a teak dining table. The entire apartment was immaculately maintained and there were many prints from masters like Van Gogh and Gustav Klimt which made it very classy..there was a small sofa bed next to the dining table which could be used for seating but it was extremely uncomfortable. The hospitality by Mr Meghnath and his team was fantastic. I received a message from him the previous day itself with the map of the location. It was very easy to find as it is located on the main road. He also, helped us to arrange our trips locally as well as to Pelling. The food was just like home cooked and adequate. On the last day we managed to eat some local food too. It is just a stand alone building with no lift and no reception area. I did find it difficult to climb those stairs. Our room had no views but we could get a nice view of Kanchanjunga from the terrace for which one has to climb one more floor..the bathroom does not have any exhaust fan and sometimes we had to open the window in the cold weather...but the entire apartment was pretty big for just two of us which was kept heated on our arrival. The location is good. It is very close to a nice shopping mall called Vajra center which is new and lots of nice eating places. M.G.road is also not too far...it is pretty central for the most touristic places. We much enjoyed our stay at this cozy little hotel and would highly recommend it to those who want a homely atmosphere during their holidays. Thank you Mr Meghnath and your team.

The view of the place is awesome and the room is decorated in a very cosy manner. The staff is very helpful and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The food provided was homely and tasty. Would definitely recommend the place to anyone looking for a nice homely stay with great view in gangtok

We stayed in Amritara for 2 days in May. The staff was excellent. The property as such does not have big area or outdoor amenities . But the indoors facilities are good. The food was fine too. Children enjoyed the board games and walking in their terrace area.

It was great experience being the first guests of the hotel starting with traditional welcome & cake cutting on 23rd June till the check out on 25th June. We were 03 families and stayed for 02 memorable days like Kings & Queens. Operation manager Ritesh with his team - Roshni, Kashari, Meghnath and Chef Mehboob did fabulous job. We got very personalized service, Chef Mehboob planned every meal as per our choices and Roshni with Meghnath & Kashari ensured that all our needs were met as we were at our homes. Luxorious amebiance of the hotel with Italian accent and valley view was fab. Our kids never wanted to check out but next destination was waiting. I wish Ritesh & team all the very best. I highly recommend this hotel to people visiting Gangtok.
