Hotel 3 bintang Geneva

We stayed here for one night as we were travelling with a friend who had not seen Geneva before. As we had a very early morning flight, we arrived at about 9.30am, half expecting to be asked to leave our luggage as the rooms were not ready. We arrived, but the reception area was not quite welcoming. Really not sure what impression this gives. It looked like someone stole the reception desk and left a simple desk with the equipment and cables all showing. Nevertheless, we were greeted by a nice man who advised that our rooms were ready and as I was a silver member there was no charge for this. The rooms themselves are quite small, but serves the purpose for sleeping and showering. The shower head for some reason does not like a lot of pressure, otherwise the head turns the other way and you cannot shower properly. As a silver member, I get a welcome drink, but there is no bar here, only a fridge with drinks and some snacks at the side. I did want to get a wine in the early evening, but the receptionist was not there. I waited a few minutes, along side someone who wanted to check in, and no-one came, til we saw a small hand written note that said back soon. Not a great impression for the person wanting to check in! Instead, I chose to use my voucher the next day to grab a soft drink for my onward train journey. Sleep quality is good. We didn't eat breakfast, so cannot comment. Although we had a transport card from the hotel, we chose to walk around Geneva instead, but it's a useful card to have. Handy hotel that is close to the station and the city centre.

I will stay again and recommend to my colleagues. Good for traveler and also for business trip! Perfect location and close to train, public transportation and a pub. Receptions are so nice and room condition was also new.

Room was nice and bed was comfy. Unfortunately the stay was marred by really poor customer service. On the first occasion I asked the receptionist to chase up my request to get a refund for breakfast as we were needing to check out before it began and we were told that the manager who was able to deal with that wasn’t available until Monday (this was Saturday). In the morning both lifts were switched off so we had to haul 2 big suitcases down 5 flights of stairs. The receptionist was late for work so I rang the customer service line to report the lifts out of service and was told that I should just tell the person on site who “must be somewhere in the building speaking to another client”. She wasn’t. She rocked up 1/2 hour late and when I explained the lifts weren’t working she gave me a look like “and your problem is?” This company just want your money. If it is going to need any effort after you have paid then they are not interested.

I was very late checking in, yet the desk greeted me warmly and the room was perfect. Quiet. Kettle for coffee. Clean. Good breakfast. Throughout the stay, the front desk was more than helpful. Of course, great location. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and I wanted to share my experience in this review. The room was not only very nice but also equipped with everything I needed for a business stay. It was conveniently close to both public transportation, such as train stations, and nearby shops. This made it incredibly convenient for both business and leisure activities. Moreover, the automatic self-check-in process was a modern touch that I appreciated. It streamlined the check-in process, allowing for a seamless and efficient arrival experience. Overall, my stay was highly enjoyable, and I would certainly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers. It offers a comfortable, well-equipped room in a great location with modern amenities like the self-check-in system.

I always stay at the Tor Hotel whenever I am in town for business. The location is ideal as it’s just a 3 minute walk from train station so I take train from airport. It is another short walk to the lake, Mont Blanc bridge & many of the best restaurants, stores and parks that Geneva has to offer. The rooms are clean, stylish and offer all the amenities I need. The complimentary breakfast is a perfect start to my day. I highly recommend Tor Hotel for anyone coming to Geneva for business or as a personal vacation to this wonderful city.

This hotel is very well located in the center of Geneva close to train station Gare Cornavin and the Lake of Geneva with the Jet d'Eau. Staff is very friendly, rooms are spaciuos and clean. Breakfast is sufficient with 3-4 types of bread, cheese, eggs, fruit and coffee. Lot of restaurants, supermarkets and souvenir shops in the neighbourhood. Room had a safe.

It’s very good experience the hotel is nearby to the train station, trams, and easy to access for tourists spot ! Good service the staff is helpful and friendly!

Great position - really close to train station and bus station. Only 5-10 mins walk to the river. Beds were really comfy. Room was a great size with a fridge and large bathroom. Decor was a a bit dated but it was spotlessly clean. There was a hint of a funny smell which bothered me more than my son, possibly a smoking room in the past. We didn’t use the pub next door for breakfast as there was a small coop less than 5 mins walk away which sold fresh fruit, fresh pastries and fresh coffee. Along with disposable cutlery which we took back to the room. Great to have a later checkout time of 12, and also we left our bags there for a couple of hours in their baggage room. Great value and just what we needed. Felt safe just travelling alone with my son.

After having been coming a few times to Geneva for work now, we would like yo thank specially Frederico for his attentive service; express checkings in and out, remembering our favorite rooms, bringing ironing boards in the early mornings before work, and and and.
