This hurts me to give this resort an average score. It is by far one of the most beautiful properties I've ever stayed at. The staff were amazing and until this stay I've never had a concierge come find you each night at dinner and go over your itinerary for the next day. With that being said, the worst mattress of any room I've ever stayed in. I even asked if I could pay to upgrade and I was told all the mattresses were the same. All this resort needs to do is upgrade the mattresses and put lighting around the bathroom mirrors and it's a 5 star resort.

Beautiful resort, tucked away in the jungle along a river with lots to do in the immediate area that is family friendly The food and staff was exceptional. The accommodations were superb. The three teenaged boys enjoyed the river, the swimming, the ziplines, the waterfalls, the caves, and the biking. We traveled from BWI and used the resort transportation to and from BZE to the resort and we highly recommend that as the best way to and from the airport to the resort. Also, we would recommend you consider the resort's recommended excursions -- especially if it is your first trip to Belize. This was an excellent family vacation, and we will be back!

Absolutely love this place. Only been here a few days, but my wife and I have had the trip of a lifetime. Staff is extremely friendly and very willing to help us set up cliff dinners, cave tours, etc. I also am a picky eater but they are so helpful and cater to making whatever weird request is needed.

Beautiful rooms. A great full immersion in nature without the tents. Great food and very well guarded. Rent a golf cart to travel the grounds and see the amazing scenery. Enjoy the pool being open 24 hours a day. We stayed in a river side room and it was stunning in every way. The porch has a seating area and a hammock. The hammock has a fan directly over it. So nice. Eat at Don Tonitos Pizza. The bread sticks and cheese are awesome.

It was a very nice experience. I came to velize for business under the company I work for and we booked this recommended by a coworker. The views are astonishing, employees are welcoming and the various farm animals are so enjoyable. It's amazing, the weather was hot bit between the creek, river, pool and private plunge pool you have more than enough options to freshen up. The only reason why I wo t give a 5 or even 4 star is because the website is a painting navigate. They try using these fancy words like indulge and other words that dont match eith the information youre looking for. So it takes a but to get around what you need to find to inform yourself. It would be so useful if they stuck to normal writing such as dine in case of the restaurants or for live use something that matches with the content. It's quite frustrating. Other than that its nice.

This is one of the best resorts I’ve stayed. The property is huge with lots of activities to explore — cave, horse riding, tree house, private creek with a yoga dent by the side, suspension bridge, private trails, you name it. We had an amazing time just exploring the hotel itself. The hotel itself should be on your itinerary to explore too! Also, the staff at the hotel is also very thoughtful. They tried to have diversity in terms of the food options, and they are very friendly.

This was my third time visiting Sleeping Giant Lodge and probably my best so far (though each time has been a gem). We stayed in the Riverview Suite (which i would 100% recommend for amazing views at a reasonable price point) and from sunup to sundown it was simply dreamy. Waking up to toucans in the trees and the sun over the mountains never gets old! Beyond the room I think what made my stay extra special this time around was the staff. Everyone was beyond kind and accommodating. We went to the stables where I had the pleasure of meeting Sherman and Cesar (and a handful of the resident horses, too). Despite my slight fear of horses, the guys made me feel super comfortable - enough to even approach and pet one which I never thought I would have found myself doing. Before leaving we found that a tire on our vehicle had a flat and the staff were extremely helpful in arranging to get it fixed - they were even kind enough to lend us a golf cart so we could continue exploring the grounds! A huge thank you to Fredis and Jamie for the help. The Rainforest Lodge at Sleeping Giant is honestly probably one of my favorite places to visit in Belize and I definitely can't wait to return.

My wife and I renewed our wedding vows at Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge surrounded by a number of our immediate family. The overall treatment and service level provided by staff was beyond description - never have we been treated with such kindness and intimacy. Our ceremonial wedding service was staged at ‘The Cliff’ at Sleeping Giant. Words cannot express this gorgeous setting overlooking the Sibun River Valley. Our wedding dinner was hosted at ‘The Banks’ at Sleeping Giant in a new facility situated on the river, again a stunning location. During our stay we were treated to property tours and jungle hikes, birdwatching and horse back riding while those with younger children had the pleasure of a wagon ride. Our accommodations again defy adequate description. Sleeping Giant’s Mountainview Suites provide a level of comfort that I had not expected with walk-out shower, infinity hot tub, covered outdoor seating and lounging areas. Overall this was a week that will not likely ever be surpassed and will never be forgotten.
