I had an absolutely amazing stay at Shoestring Cave Hotel in Cappadocia! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcomed and taken care of. My flight was delayed by several hours, but Omid went above and beyond to make sure I got to the hotel safely. He reassured me during the whole process and was incredibly kind when I finally arrived late at night. Knowing I hadn’t eaten in hours, he showed me where I could get food and shared so much useful information about Cappadocia—his help really made my trip stress-free. Another standout was Yalçın. After my incredible balloon ride, he was so helpful and even offered to take photos of me on the hotel’s rooftop. As a solo traveler, I couldn’t have captured those beautiful moments without his help! He was so kind and even introduced me to his adorable cat, which added a warm, personal touch to the experience. The hotel itself was stunning. My room was comfortable and beautifully designed, the facilities were top-notch, and the breakfast was just superb—such a vast selection of hot and cold food, along with various juices to choose from. Every part of my stay exceeded expectations. I 100% recommend Shoestring Cave Hotel, especially for solo travelers. The staff really go the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable!

This hotel is wonderful for the price you pay. We stayed for 2 nights in a cave room and one night in a deluxe cave room. I recommend the later. It was wonderful! The breakfast is superb, lots to eat and choose from. The views from the terrace are absolutely incredible. Swimming pool is good. The staff are really super friendly and will help you book all your tours. They got us a great price on a balloon tour, it was a small one- only 10 people and lasted an hour at sunrise. It was absolutely incredible! Our other tours were great too, especially the red tour. If you have to choose, choose red tour.

I absolutely loved this little place The room was cute very spacious The breakfast was delicious however they have ice for your juice but maybe the juice & milk could be put in the fridge? Thats my only negative The staff were absolutely amazing hands down exceptional service from before my stay right up until i checked out. The location is brilliant I highly recommend staying here. Its clean safe great environment they cater for everything you need!! Any questions or queries or concerns they answer for you!!! 10/10 If i ever return I’ll definitely book here

Loved this place! The staff were amazing and the pool was awesome especially with the bar next to it!. Great location and the caves were wonderful. Loved the resident Pug Maya! The breakfast was average but so many choices just a short walk away.

A very nice hotel, prefectly placed on the city. Rooms are very comfortable and the staff is always nice and ready to help. All the rooms are troglodyte and beautiful. There is multiple floors and the pool is on the top floor with a nice bar with a brasero. From there you can see all the city. A very good place to chill. We stayed here for 8 days and only walk from the hotel to all the valley and town around.

We stayed for 3 nights in Shoestring Cave House, to explore the Fairy Chimneys and surrounding area. The hotel is picturesque in a really good location near the town centre and on some walking routes. We loved the cave bedroom with rock walls and ceiling, and an epic bathroom. The room came with a jacuzzi which we sampled, and comfy bed and furniture. The hotel is on quite a few levels, with the pool and bar at the top with nice views. The breakfast was decent - a spread of cake / bread items, eggs, cheeses and jams etc. Nice filter coffee and Turkish tea. Thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it as a base for exploring the area.

The best experience ever. Amazing service, clean rooms, tasty breakfast and great location. I wish I could stay longer. Thanks to the guys at the reception and the kitchen and restaurant staff!
