1692 Wasdale

Our second trip to 1692 and the experience was as good as the first. Everything is done perfectly. The accommodation is excellent, everything you need and very comfortable. Faith and all the staff are always happy to help with any requests. The breakfasts are possibly the best we have had in a B&B. The honesty bar is well stocked and the prices very reasonable. The lounge gives you somewhere other than your room to sit and is very comftable. Plenty of parking and a 3.5Kw EV charger for guests use charged at cost. Whatever you spend you days doing it is a wonderful place to come back to.

We recently visited for the second time having loved our first trip in October. 1692 wasdale is perfect for our needs. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We especially enjoyed breakfast! The only thing that could have been better was the weather…….next time! We look forward to coming back soon. 😊

Myself and my partner stayed for three nights as a birthday trip in the lake district. Firstly, Faith and her team were outstanding. The little touches from the home baked shortbread, chocolates on the pillow and fresh cakes each afternoon, made the stay extra special. The decoration of the property was beautiful, with great care and attention made to every detail. The room had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever stayed at, a wonderful open plan bathroom with high quality toiletries provided, a standalone bathtub and rainfall shower. Breakfast each morning was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. There is a hot tub on the property which you can reserve and makes for an excellent experience after a long day's walk. Undoubtedly one of the best B&Bs I've stayed at, and would recommend anyone looking for somewhere to stay to book here! Thanks again to Faith and everyone else for making the weekend so enjoyable.

We have never had an experience quite like this. Hospitality on another level. Luxe and cosy, great breakfast, stunning scenery, and the friendliest of welcomes. Everything boutique except the final bill, great value! We'll be returning for some R&R again soon.

We have just returned from our second stay at 1692 Wasdale. We love it and would highly recommend. Beautifully fitted and super comfortable rooms (they are just like they are in the pictures), excellent breakfast, kind and attentive people - all set in stunning Wasdale countryside. Peaceful. What is not to like?

My wife and son and I have just returned from a mini break at the 1692 Wasdale Boutique accommodation. The location of the farmhouse is quite remote and does require transport to get to it. However, the views of the surrounding fells are spectacular, and the grounds of the property are well maintained. The property itself is completed to a very high standard with modern finishings that compliment the barn conversion. The whole property is spotlessly clean, and each room is unique. The breakfast was fantastic with a variety of cereals fresh fruit and also different options for cooked breakfasts. With all locally sourced ingredients. There is an honesty bar on site with an excellent choice of spirits and beers. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family.
