Bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows were available (but we also brought our own), air conditioner worked well, shower water held up well, place had a quiet atmosphere, breakfast offered a good variety, staff were very nice. Okay, I'm a suspicious old woman; I wondered about the freshness of the bed linens. They didn't seem particularly fresh. Staff was generous with the bed and bath linens when we requested any additional items. The cost seemed a little high, but I'm from a midwestern state; 3 nights were a somewhat costly sum. The desk staff graciously gave us a room near the elevator because I have a significant handicap and can't walk long halls. I don't know how convenient the ice machine was; we had coolers and bought ice at a nearby Walmart on the same street. When we wanted to meet friends for desserts one night, Village Inn was not far on the same street. It was a great location for us. We were in town for a large outdoor family reunion (100+ people) on a farm in the area with high-90s and over 100-degree heat. The hotel was a good base for us. We appreciated the refrigerator and microwave in the room.
