Secara keseluruhan ia tidak buruk, ia sepatutnya menjadi motel yang lebih baik di sana. Bilik ini sangat luas dan anda boleh memasak sendiri. Bilik air juga sangat bersih dan luas. This place is excellent. It's definitely one of the better backpackers I've stayed at anywhere in the world. It is spotlessly clean and tidy. We had two nights (January 1 & 2) here in the double private room (room 15) and we were impressed. The communal areas are well stocked and clean. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of utensils, crockery etc. The dining area is good too. There's an excellent lounge and seperate TV area for when the weather is poor (often in Greymouth). There's also a spa, washing lines and helpful, friendly staff. The bathrooms and shower area are kept clean. The whole place is decorated with a distinctly global feel in keeping with the place's name. Most is African - it's all very colorful and pleasant. If you're looking for a budget friendly accommodation option in Greymouth, thisnis a good option.

It was the “no worries” attitude of the owner who made this trip so good. We booked last minute to visit a sick family member and had to bring a small dog as there was no time to book him in a kennel. The owner was so easy to deal with and nothing was an issue (had to call him twice from Christchurch with questions). The room was older style but it was so clean! I will admit that I was nervous booking so quickly and arriving late in the evening (could have been a disaster) but I was pleasantly surprised to find the beds all impeccably made, the bathroom was clean, as was the kitchen. Little bit of road noise as mentioned in other reviews but this place is on the main road also it’s Greymouth and traffic wasn’t constant all night… it’s also just up the road from the hospital and in easy reach of everything you need. I would book again.

We stayed the night after coming across from Christchurch on the Trans Alpine train. (And that is such a wonderful trip in itself- thoroughly recommend it) Murray and Wendy are great hosts, friendly and helpful and able to point us towards interesting things to do around Greymouth while we were there. Their units are spotless, all our basic requirements were covered and the shower is amazing. Full on hot and abundant! Murray dropped us back to the train the next day and when my husband discovered he had left his jacket in the back of the car, Murray made it back down to the train station with said item of clothing, just before the train departed. He definitely went above and beyond expectations.
