Kind of bizarre hotel. Good beds, wonderful towels, but I'm not sure I'd stay there again because not once in the four days were were there did we have warm water. I asked about it at the front desk every single day but nothing ever happened, and they never said anything about how that was really unusual and maybe there's a problem, so my guess it's always like that. Also, if you are arriving by car, parking is paid (for 3 nights, we ended up paying 420 pesos). The biggest thing if arriving by car is that you will need to carry your luggage down a LOT of stairs (and then back up at check-out). I was kind of surprised the hotel didn't seem to have anyone that can help, as some people would really really struggle with it. Some reviewers mentioned ”having to walk up the hill to the parking lot” but my husband and I imagined we would drop our luggage off and then walk just ourselves, we had no idea we would be carrying all our luggage through a crowded tourist area, down 3 crowded flights of stairs, through a hotel and up and down several other flights of stairs (some are smaller than a normal flight, and some are normal sized flights). Anyway, the beds are very good and the funicular is really fun but this place is best for someone who packs light and isn't staying for long, because of the cold water.

위치가 너무 좋습니다. 왠만한 관광명소는 걸어갈수있고, 바로 앞 버스정류장도 있어서 버스터미널이나 먼곳 가기도 좋아요. 성당 앞의 종소리가 조금 들리긴하지만 저는 개인적으로 오히려 운치있고 좋았어요.

What a bang for your buck! We stayed in junior suite, I think it's the actual room on the photo jaja. The view to parroquia was that exactly of the picture. We made reservation through another website and it included bottle of wine! So to recap night we drank in balcony in late evening. Location of hotel is perfect since it's walking distance to majority of sites, restaurants and tours. Yet far enough for it to be quiet and get a good night. We were going to stay at union park but glad we didn't a bit to noisy for us. Rooms were so specious more than what we needed. Kids love having their own loft area and space. I love just having a large comfortable to sleep at night. Breakfast in the morning were superb. Check in was easy, they even offered reasonable city tour for us next day that was worth it. I truly am recommending this hotel to all. I wouldn't stay anywhere else while in GTO.

A short walk to many places of interest. Room was clean and comfy. Rosi at reception was very friendly and helpful with advice. Breakfast was only a short walk away and very good with a great variety from cereals, fruit, yogurt, and granola to eggs, beans, different meats daily, chliquiles, hot cakes, and assorted sweet rolls. We will be back to stay again.

Excelente atención para mí grupo de 50 personas. Excelente atención desde el primer contacto para la reservación. Me ayudó mucho su paciencia para programar la reservación. Las habitaciones muy limpias, muy amplias y acondicionadas con refrigerador y microondas y un lobby en cada habitación. Todo el personal es muy amable y empático. El desayuno está variado y riquísimo.y El estacionamiento para el autobús a la puerta del hotel es muy conveniente.

El fin del 9 al 11 de febrero mi esposo y yo nos hospedamos en el Hotel Mision Guanajuato para asistir a una boda que se celebraba en la Ex hacienda San Gabriel de Barrera. Dada la cercanía del lugar nos hospedamos ahí. El viernes comimos en el restaurante del hotel, el cual se encuentra en pésimas condiciones de higiene: sillas muy sucias al igual que el piso. Comí un guisado de alambre de res, el cual no me supo bien y por la noche presenté dolor abdominal y malestar estomacal agudizándose durante la madrugada. Al día siguiente en la boda me empiezo a sentir mal, intentando regresar al hotel me desmayé debido a estar altamente deshidratada después de pasar toda la noche enferma. Al despertar del desmayo regresamos al hotel pidiendo ayuda a los trabajadores del hotel para llevarme al hospital SIN recibir apoyo de ninguno de ellos. Ni al pedir que nos trajeran nuestro vehículo siendo mi esposo quien fue por el coche. Cabe aclarar que somos dos personas de la tercera edad. Ese día fui ingresada a urgencias por un cuadro de gastroenteritis aguda infecciosa y deshidratación moderada. El motivo de mi escrito es una queja al hotel por sus pésimas condiciones de salubridad, higiene y si falta de apoyo a los huéspedes. Cero empatía y preparación ante emergencias.
