My stay exceeded my expectations in terms of quality/price ratio.

Bon service et chambre élégante et récente. Petits reproches: pas de miroir grossissant dans la salle de bain, ni de peignoir de bain à disposition. Petits déjeuners corrects. Vous êtes à 10 min à pieds de la plage. Sinon un véhicule est indispensable pour bouger car le quartier est très calme.

Disappointed with our stay. First, our room had lots of ants all over, was glad that we were able to switch rooms easily so definitely appreciated that. Second, the dinner we had on our first night was pretty bad. We were both very tired so didn't want to travel to get food and so settled for the hotel restaurant. My friend wasn't too hungry and really just wanted a salad. They didn't have an entree salad but also wouldn't allow her to order a couple of salad sides, forcing her to order an entree. Now it would've been fine if the food was actually good....I think I got the fish and it was the smallest portion and crappiest section you could possibly find...left extremely disappointed and will not return.

This was just the quiet relaxing break we were looking for. The hotel was very clean, modern and relaxing. The pool area was great, we could always get sunbeds and a couple of afternoons during the week a dj was playing which we loved. The food truck also served tasty snacks if we didn't want to move too far from our loungers! Our room was clean, modern and comfortable. We paid for a sea view room and it wasn't worth it unless you particularly like afternoon sun on your balcony, as there was only a glimpse of the sea in the distance and the main view was of car park and road. I would recommend pool view or garden view. Also ketle and nespresso machine in the rom might seem like a nice touch but without the pods or tea bags were completely wasted, and to get them on room service was expensive. We were also very surprised to find a hotel that advertised as a spa to not provide robes and slippers. We ate in the restaurant for dinner twice but were glad we didnt go half board, as whilst the food was good, there wasn't much variety. Breakfast had everuthing you could possibly wish for and we really enjoyed ut. Staff were very friendly and helpful but quite a few were new and obviously needed training, yet there were two who shone above and beyond, Maria and Jaqueline, who I would say kept everything running smoothly each day with great smiles and attitude. We had a lovely holiday, what we were looking for, which was a relaxing time. The location was close to the beach which we really enjoyed but by the end of the week we had pretty much visited every restaurant in the area as it was quite quiet. For us this was exactly what we were looking for but others might find it too quiet, also probably not great for children as no kids club etc, but again absolutely perfect for a couple wanting to chill out around the pool!!

Wow! Where do I even begin? Firstly, this place needs more than 5 stars, easily 10 stars minimum. Apologies for the long review, but it's hard not to say so much So lets begin... From the moment I stepped out of my transfer and layed eyes on this beautiful and absolutely stunning hotel, I knew I chose the perfect place to stay during my little solo relaxing getaway. I then walked into the main lobby of the hotel and again WOW! Stunned by the beauty of the reception area, but then I was graciously welcomed as I arrived, which made me even more so happy of choice of stay. The beautiful lady at reception was just so warm and welcoming, making me instantly feel at home. Once she checked me in, I was offered leaflets that were very helpful in activities whilst I'm here and other necessary information. I then proceeded to my room and continued to be stunned from the beauty of the rest of the hotel. It is a 4 star hotel but my personal opinion should easily be a 5 star with the amount of care and how much they do for you the definitely what feels like they go the ends of the earth and back to make you feel welcomed and just important ☺️. After that the lounge area for sunbathing, the swimming pool, the restaurant/ bar stunning, then they have a relaxation sections where you can do and relax with a book or something, they also have a meeting area if your a business on stay. Then you have the spa area from all massage rooms to steam and sweat rooms, then a small but great little gym to work out in. The rooms WOW! So as I came in, I switched on the TV, and there was a greeting screen saying, "Welcome in Portuguese and with my name. Again, stunning, absolutely amazing, comfy, and spacious for just me. I have been sleeping in a king-size bed with fluffy and melt in your head pillows, and I have never felt relaxation like this before. Now food breakfast, let's start there incredible a all you can eat ranging from all types of cereals, oats, granola and museil to mixed nuts, then you have a section for continental food such as pastries, pancakes, mini donuts to chocolate covered ones (each day different), then you have hot food proper crispy bacon, Sausages, 3 types of different eggs, beans, cheese topped tomatoes, beans etc you get the idea. Then, the machine has freshly squeezed jucies to a lovely coffee machine and other hot beverages. Then we have the evening meals and wow again incredible and so tasty 3 course meals every night whilst waiting for your meal you are given a small taste bread board. The presentation for everything is amazing and eye worthy. What I truly like is that it's open to the public. Also, whether you're a guest or not, you can enjoy a spectacular breakfast, lunch menu, and evening meal. And to finally top it all off with my stay here I came to Portugal to not only relax and sightsee but to celebrate my birthday and not only did the staff wish me a happy birthday which I thought was so lovely of them but they also then when I c

Just had a week's holiday here, its a gorgeous hotel, immaculately clean and also minimalist in decor In lobby..rooms are lovely ,clean bright and spacious Bathrooms also lovely with big showers only dislike was Bathroom doors..get better handles! The pool area was lovely and relaxing and the breakfast was also very good ,fresh plentiful and good quality. It's in nice residential area so not a lot of choice of restaurant if you don't have a car we did go to belllavita 2 nights just for convenience. Also it's a quite hotel no busy bar in the evening or buzz around at all. After staying here for a week and moving to another hotel I can see how great it was at regency salgados!! Also the reception staff were lovely to deal with helpful and polite 😀
