Room was a little smaller and building a little older than expected, but was still all good. Clean. Room was a bit dark with all lights on (could do with one brighter bulb). Walking distance to Elephant Hill, Sun Moon Pagoda, and both shopping pedestrian streets. You get a free drink at the cafe as a guest too. (Cookies self provided)

The room was pretty big ann the hotel very good located, just 20 minutes walk from the lake. The coffee in the morning was included, give a try to the cheese coffee, it was delicious!!

- location was great across elephant hill - below is cafe, all stayer is entitled to 1 free coffee - night time after hours, stayer should access by side gate - stayed 1 night but all was good

Had an amazing time at Zen Tea House! Very clean with super friendly staff. The cafe front desk has delicious coffee and flavors milk (try the osmanthus!). And they speak English! Centrally located with tons of restaurants and street food right outside. Short walk to Elephant tree hill!

Let's start, usually I book the hotel for the location, that's really nice, but the best part of the hotel are the staff, all so friendly, nice and really good people, Madison, the reception girl is amazing, her English is perfect and she's really kind, she can help you with all you need! The room is big, clean and the bed is so comfortable. Everything work so smoothly here, cheers to the Zen tea house!

The entrance to the hotel is a cafe so it was a great surprise that they gave us 2 complimentary coffee coupons for the 1 night we stayed. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I would book there again.

Great place to stay!! Don't hesitate to choose it! The girl at the reception is so nice and helpful, rooms very clean as western standards, good location and a nice city to enjoy China. It's worth spending a couple of days, not so packed when you walk a bit. Fenomenal! No lo dudes, un sitio genial para explorar la ciudad. Located just a short walk to Elephant Trunk Hill with many eateries and a supermarket nearby. Good security with access card only entry to the lift area and room. Customer service is impeccable. Female barista at the front desk is extremely polite, friendly and helpful, offering a lot of useful tips on food and places to visit. She makes great coffee too, hotel offers daily complimentary coffee for in-house guests. We asked for normal towel (hotel provided disposable ones due to hygiene reasons) and they gladly obliged, very accommodating. Bed and beddings are comfortable, love the double pillows provided. Airport bus drop-off / pick-up point (RMB20/way) is less than 10 mins away (walk).
