The hotel is excellent in every way. The staff are really kind and helpful. Our stay was great.

The location is perfect. If you want to stay in Guilin without use the taxi and visit the best attraction of the city, this hotel is recommended. The breakfast is very cheap but offers only Chinese food. The rooms are clean and well equipped, the only problem is some of them has the window without external view.

Pro: Excellent location. We’ve paid for an executive room so room was clean and decent, there was some view overlooking people’s rooftop garden. Breakfast was ok. Con: Service was mediocre; and can be improved. Hotel front did not have ramp, it was difficult to carry big luggages going up the few steps. On our first day arriving at hotel, we had difficulty taking the big luggages going up steps. Front desk staff stood at their desk and looked at us without offering any help. Not good.

The hotel is in the heart of Guilin, close to the Sun and Moon Pagoda and the Shan lake. We had a room with a view on the mountains where we saw the sunset. The room has all toiletries and is clean and comfortable. They also have free laundry facilities. We booked our cruise on the Li river with the reception which was very handy as transportation to the dock was included.

It’s centrally located, with big rooms and good cheap breakfast. On the downside, there is a strong smell of cigarettes, both in the room and in the corridor, as other guests clearly smoke without regards for the rules (see photo for reference). Also, if you are a light sleeper, make sure to bring some ear plugs as even the 8th floor is very noisy (music, traffic, etc)

This is my second time to stay at this hotel and the experience was as good as last time. Great location, friendly staff, lovely bed, nice shower. It was a good stay and I will come back again whenever I stay at Guilin.

Tidy, clean and well located to attractions downtown. Highly recommended. Front desk very responsive and was able to provide me with all necessary information before arrival from New Zealand. Airport pickup service was good price at 60¥ for two adults from the airport to hotel, I would definitely stay again. Room is on top floor with stunning view of the pagoda and streets. Bed is huge and good linens. Serviced daily. Small fridge and bottled water supplied.

Very clean hotel located perfectly near attractions and plenty of eateries surrounding. Only downside is the early closure at 10pm of the self-laundry room and warm corridor which are not air-conditioned.

Very close to food and shopping. The room was large and clean. All the staff were super friendly.

Family theme room was very nice and spacious. The hotel location is strategic and it's within walking distance to Liang Jiang xihu, sun moon pagodas and elephant trunk area. It's very convenient to get food around. Service from lobby staff was superb. They were helpful and friendly when I need help to get another card by late in night. I would like to give my heartfelt appreciation to 前台小邓小阳. 他们的服务周全,态度好。

Close to walking street with lots of food, take a 10 min Didi to train station

Guilin Trip was amazing! The Gangshe Hotel (Guilin Two Rivers and Four Lakes Xiangshan Scenic Spot) is within the city where you can find around the famouse Guilin Food and choose the best food you can see --- located just at the side of the hotel - the busy street foods, big and small restaurant, shopping mall, near to the Guilin river trip, to the park, and if you are foreigner like me who still love Mc Donalds and/or KFC but alaso love street food, its around the hotel. The hotel service was nice! they know I am foreigner and they take care the communcation with mix Chinese- English. One of the hotel staff added my wechat and we can talk in translated English - Chinese, which is awesome. They have free tea / coffee from 2:30 to 4 PM, it was nice Latte coffee blended with Chinese snacks. My room is a single bed, enough for a solo DIY traveller's with all the comfortable facilities needed to live comfortably. I suppsoed to believe that the view outside the window is the Elephant trunk or Elephan Hill as seen on the trip.com website, its about 10 minutes away by taxi + traffic. I spend the whole afternoon trekking in the elephant hill, explaining what about the stabbed elephant mountain hahaha.
