🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs. The Highlights: The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue. The Downsides: However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived. Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

民宿剛好在古鎮的最邊上，晚上睡覺非常安靜，房間很乾凈，洗澡水壓也剛好。帶着孩子去荔波探洞，沒想到白魚洞可以直接在民宿上車，早餐是牛肉粉，孩子説很好吃，送的水果也很新鮮，枇杷比我自己買的要甜很多。老闆人很好，最後一天早上7點的高鐵 老闆全都安排好了送站。希望更多有緣人看到評論，都來體驗。

Very beautiful and classy homestay - I would even call it a boutique hotel. Rooms and common spaces incorporate local minority theemed design elements, which I felt greately added to the atmosphere. My room was spacious, impeccably clean without any hint of cigarette smell. Excellent hot shower, nice towels (though hotel does provide disposable ones). Overall, the room had everything, aside from luggage rack and hand/body lotion. My second floor room looked out to the courtyard, beautiful arch and mountains at a distance. I imagine top-floor rooms having even better views, but they didn't have any availability though I would have loved to stay there. Location was perfect - 5 min walk to Xiaoqikong park entrance. Finally, SUPERB staff. Customer service is on top - free transportation to the train station, greetings with fresh fruit platter, ginger tea to cool off under getting caught in the rain, etc. Separate thanks to Echo who has good command of English and was there to answer any questions, address all my concerns, walk(!) me to the best restaurant in town, and give me rubber slippers while my shoes were drying! Aside from making sure that my stay was perfect, she also served as sort of ambassador into the Guizhou minority culture and shared with me her deep knowledge and love for their history and way of life. Highly highly recommended!

The rooms are nicely decorated n feels very welcoming , although there was a aircon water leaked late night 10ish , the staff changed our rooms for us swiftly . The staff /personal butlers are all pleasant ,approachable n welcoming . They made the stay very pleasant. Breakfast is a healthy set of noodles , corn, sweet potato, fruits , tea coffee which was comforting , they provide free bbq which is good to cook outside n enjoy alfresco . Recommend

We are two couples from the United States. We picked Yunshang Jianli Homestay because of its very high rating. After spending two nights there, we concur with their rating. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The homestay is very conveniently located. It is a short walk to the East Gate of the Xiaoqikong Scenic area as well as to the shuttle station to the Libo High Speed Train Station. The staff, from the manager to the housekeepers to the homestay restaurant’s cook, was friendly, helpful and personable. Speaking of the restaurant, we ate there both nights and each dish was excellent. We highly recommend the fish soup, which might have been the best fish soup we have ever had. Their high rating is well earned.

Great location , 5mins walk to the East Entrance of Xiaoqikong attractions 荔波小七孔. Bus station was also at the East Entrance. Was really convenient, that there were mini bus (8 seaters) to Xijiang Qianhu Miao village linfengju Inn 西江千户苗寨 every hours from here. Surrounding there were lots of eatery. The room was big, neat, clean and comfy. I like the full window glass and room setting. The breakfast was good, served hot just no coffee avail. Every night, will have fruits basket from the reception. Overall : we enjoy our stays

Best accommodation we had on our trip of one week from Chengdu to Yanshuo. Very accommodating owners gave us self made breakfast, tea tasting, oranges from their garden for the road and tips what to do. Needless to say the room for 5 adults was modern and clean and perfectly arranged. We will tell our friends in Chengdu to stay there and we will be back for a longer stay too. Highly recommended!

The place is beautiful and everything in the room was so modern and comfortable. The manager even picked us up from nearby location when we didn’t get a cab. The food was also customised to suit preferences. I wish I had more time, I’d love to stay for more days. The whole team was so hospitable and helpful. Whatever we needed was arranged as per requirement. I miss the kids of the family so much. Highly recommend the place and will definitely come back in future. 必須給滿分，剛預訂完酒店，酒店工作人員就電話過來諮詢什麼時間到，把房間安排好，還送了歡迎水果，空調什麼的都提前開好。停車場夠大，停車方便，早餐豐富，還有現磨咖啡。退房還送了當地特色伴手禮，誠意滿滿的，另外必須誇獎一下酒店的工作人員，熱情好客微笑服務，荔波的景色很美，有機會再次過來還願意選擇這個酒店

這次出行最幸運的就是選對了這家民宿！老闆小姐姐人美心善超熱情，從入住接待到退房告別都特別貼心。小姐姐主動過來給我們推薦遊玩路線，分享避坑技巧，還把好吃的餐館、好逛的街區一一細説，攻略實用度拉滿。晚上吃飯，小姐姐怕我們累了，二話不説就開車送我們，真的又暖心又靠譜！民宿房間寬敞明亮，設施齊全，衞生做得也很到位，住起來特別安心舒服。
