The location is still 2km away from the west entrance of the Xiaoqikong attraction, but I was offered rides to and fro the entrance. The owner even offered me a ride to the hsr station since he needed to go to town, but there are buses from the west entrance to the station. There are eateries a stone throw away, as well as a convenient shop right opposite. As it was off peak season I was offered an upgrade to a bigger room. For the same reason I was told that breakfast would be difficult to get near the place but easily available over at the west entrance area. Xiaoqikong was great and highly recommended.

Services - excellent the owner helped to carry my 20kg luggage up n down from the room and also to the taxi when I left. The boss even helped to check my booking for a taxi is correctly stated on picked up n dropped off designation, making sure I make no mistake to catch my train to another town. Location- excellent. It is a few minutes walk to the East Gate. There are also many eateries around the hotel. Nearest obe is just 1 minute walk. Cleanliness- excellent. The room is spacious, clean n dust free which is very important for me as I have allergies.

這次來茂蘭森林玩，隨手訂的民宿完全超出預期，絕對是此行的驚喜之選！首先衞生狀況特別讓人放心，房間收拾得一塵不染，毛巾、洗漱用品都擺得整整齊齊，看得出來打掃得很用心。在山裡的民宿能做到這麼乾淨，真的很難得。老闆人特別熱情實在，還沒到就開始幫我詢問拼車，安排行程。還能吃到現做的農家飯，味道地道分量也足。去景點遊玩老闆還會安排接送，吃飯的時候還會請喝當地自己釀的酒。最關鍵的是價格真的很實惠，這個價位在景區裏能住到這麼乾淨、服務又貼心的房間，性價比直接拉滿。位置也方便，離青龍潭、五眼橋都不遠，走路幾分鐘就能到徒步入口。下次再來茂蘭，肯定還住這兒，真心推薦給來玩的朋友！

”A fantastic stay in every way!” I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was incredibly comfortable, with a cozy bed and thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. The facilities were well-maintained and modern, including a relaxing lounge area and a spotless bathroom. What truly stood out, though, was the owner’s kindness — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. From local tips to extra assistance, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, quality, and genuine hospitality!

The hotel is very new and our family room was very spacious and comfortable. The location is fantastic as it’s just a 5 minute walk down the street to the 小七孔 east gate entrance. Service is friendly and there’s washing machine provided for free. The only small issue is two small cockroaches appeared in the bathroom on our first night there. On our second day we were asked if we wanted the room tidied up which we said yes. Surprisingly when we came back only the bed was made and the floor and bathroom were not cleaned again. So do take note of that if you’re staying more than one night. The price and value for this place is hard to beat. Overall it was still a good stay.

採光特別好。兩張1米5的床一家四口人，完全夠住了，房間大大的，衞生間也很寬敞。帶小孩帶長者。都比較方便。房間裏面的衞生做的非常好，地板擦的亮亮的。陽台可以曬很多衣服，也可以坐在外面。看風景，設施也比較齊全。洗衣機，一次性浴巾，一次性毛巾，一次性拖鞋都有，1樓還有免費停車，老闆還免費接送我們到西門，1樓是做餐飲的，早上有早餐，有牛肉粉，有餃子，有包子，有饅頭。有油條，有稀飯。有中餐，晚餐，有炒菜，火鍋，貴州特色菜，位置是在（架歐）高速收費站。開車5分鐘距離小七孔景區西門售票處開車3分鐘。非常的近，非常的方便。而且從西門進入景區一直都是下坡路，走的沒那麼費勁

茂蘭背包客棧是茂蘭自然保護區裏的第一家開辦的客棧。老闆很能幹，六十多歲看起來才四、五十歲、精力充沛，白天徒步完13公里的漏斗森林，晚上還帶客人去看昆蟲。第二早上四點多又起來殺雞準備客人午餐了。他兩個兒子分別在裏面開了山舍客棧和山也民客棧。我們在他家住了兩晚，都是在他兒子家吃飯。

Hotel located within walking distance to the Xiaoqikong entrance. Lots of food nearby. Only thing is the hotel is a bit old and needs to be refurbished. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The air con definitely needs to be changed. It was cold during our stay but there was hardly any hot as ir coming out from the air con. Our train out of libo was 4.30pm and owner allowed us to have a late checkout!

We stayed here for a few nights. Overall, it was a positive experience. Check-in: Smooth and easy. We were greeted warmly, and upon arrival, our room was upgraded — a nice bonus. Room: Clean, with good-quality bedding. The room had everything we needed: air conditioning, towels, toiletries, bottled water, and a projector. Housekeeping was done daily and wasn't intrusive — we could stay in the room if we wanted. When we arrived, the weather was cold outside, so we slept under two blankets — it was warm enough. Hot water was sufficient for two people as long as we didn't shower for too long. Location: Very convenient — just a few minutes' walk to the East Gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area and the bus stop. Plenty of places to eat, grab a drink, and buy daily necessities are nearby. Noise level: We slept really well — it was quiet and peaceful, with only birdsong in the morning. There was construction going on near the hotel during our stay, but it wasn't disruptive at all; no noise in the morning or evening. Drawbacks: · There was a strong smell of cigarettes in the room. If you're sensitive to smoke, it's worth asking for a non-smoking room when booking. · Although the room was clean, it was clear that the hotel is a bit older — not brand new, but still well-maintained. Overall, if you're looking for a clean, budget-friendly option with a great location for visiting Xiaoqikong, this is a solid choice. We were happy with our stay.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. Location central. Quite comfortable. Bathroom sink was leaking, though room is clean. Public area doesn't seem used much these days, doesn't serve drinks, no one playing music.
