Been to Hokkaido many times but first time in Hakodate. Bourou Noguchi is one of the most expensive hotels in Yunokawa area. The Noguchi Group of hotels operates quite a few hotels in the Donan area (southern Hokkaido). Seems most, if not all, of the room are fitted with private onsen. We have a duplex room with living room and bedroom on the lower floor, and bath room on the upper floor. The room size is enormous by any Japan standard. With a premium price you pay, you get almost everything you need in a room, coffee beans and maker, free mini bar drinks, Loccitane toiletries, private in-room onsen, an empty Japanese style living room with no furniture where you can do yoga, two TVs. The room has windows on two sides facing east and west. The hotel as a whole takes a western style of decoration rather than a traditional style. I guess since most of the rooms has its own onsen, as a result the public bath on the top floor is not very outstanding, however, there are free drinks and ice cream on the lounge next to the onsen entrance. And the lounge has a nice view on Hakodate city and Mount Hakodate. Every room has its designated dining room in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Both meals serve Japanese and western style dishes. My personal opinion is that Japanese dishes is better. Service in restaurant and front desk is as good as you will find in a Japanese hotel. On the ground floor there is a library, and a bar opens until late. There is not much in the surrounding area except onsen hotels, however, there are noodle shop, sushi restaurant and drug store nearby.

妻と一泊しました。部屋からは津軽海峡が一望できました。曇っていたのですが場所の素晴らしさはよく分かりました。 食事は本当に美味しかったです。魚介類は新鮮でしたし食事のプレゼンーションも素晴らしかったです。また予約のプランで獺祭ミニ瓶が無料で付いていたのは嬉しかったです。 大浴場には半露天風呂がありました。こちらからも津軽海峡が眺められて気持ち良かったです。 中居さんを始め、旅館のスタッフの皆さんにはとても丁寧に接客頂きました。こちらの旅館での滞在はとても快適でした。 これだけの設備と食事とサービスで、お盆中にも関わらず2人で総額約8万円というのはとてもお得だったと思いました。お勧めの旅館です。

It has been almost 3 years that we have not visited Japan. Once Japan opened tourism, we packed our bags. We decided this trip will be a trip to enjoy some onsen (hot springs bath) and to see some fall foliage in colors. We picked Hakodate for onsen. This hotel offers in room open air bath tub on the balcony with a 180 degree ocean view!! Our activities were focused on taking onsen and having great food at the hotel buffet restaurant. After a great onsen bath, we wore the clothing they provided to us to the restaurant, very layback and relaxing!! There were many families, old and very young at the hotel over the weekend. So we think families take short vacations here. Strongly recommend to add Hakodate and this hotel to be part of your tour in Japan !

函館空港と函館駅の中間にある湯の川温泉の比較的大きなホテルです。1階の風呂は大きな湯舟がいくつかあり、露天風呂もあります。ゆっくりとくつげます。食事は飲み放題、食べ放題。和食、寿司、洋食、中華、種類はふんだんにあり、大満足でした。コロナ感染予防のためビニール手袋が用意されており、安心でした。部屋は宿泊代を安くするため部屋に到着時すでに布団がひいてあるのは全然いいと思います。植物園が近くにあり、ゴールデンウィーク頃まで冬の間のみ猿の温泉入浴が見られます。

函館駅から市電に乗って五稜郭公園前駅に行くと、ほとんど目の前にあるホテルです。空港に行く「とびっこ」バスのバス停もすぐそばです。室内の広さや、アメニティの種類も十分でした。個人的にはパジャマのあるのが便利でした。PCやスマートフォンの充電器やケーブルまで部屋にあったので、うっかり忘れたときにも助かりますね。 一つだけ、シャワーカーテンを広げるとよくない臭いがしたので、「清潔感」の項目は１つ減らします。

スタッフのみなさんが親切でした。 ロビーにあるコーヒーが美味しいです。 ロビーには飴も置いてあります。 館内には製氷機があります。 フロントの前ではドリンクが販売されています。 製氷機前には自動販売機がありました。 朝食の食パンが凄く美味しかったです。 トースターで自分で焼くので、 自分の好みの焼き加減で焼けます。 コーヒーも自由に飲めます。 部屋のお風呂場には、リンスインシャンプーと ボディソープがあります。 アメニティはフロントで 必要なものを必要な分だけ貰えます。

エグゼクティブフロア展望風呂付ツイン、「大正ロマン」のタイプに宿泊しました。 67平米の広さでしたが、家具はほとんどなく、ただ広いだけの部屋でした。リビングのテレビが小さかったです。新聞の朝刊サービス、冷蔵庫内のドリンク無料のサービスは良かったです。 エグゼクティブフロア宿泊者は15時から銀座軒ラウンジにてワインとスイーツを頂くことができました。しっかりとしたケーキ類が多く、夕食の時間が近いこともあって、夕食付きプランでは十分に楽しむことができず残念でした。 部屋のお風呂は広く快適でした。大浴場は凝った造りでしたが、窓もなく閉鎖的な空間に感じられ残念でした。お隣の系列の「湯元　啄木亭」の空中露天風呂が利用できたので、そちらを利用しました。 夕食は函館銀座軒で洋食のコース料理、温泉旅館にしては珍しい内容で楽しめました。朝食のブッフェは、品数が少なく感じられ残念な内容でした。 フロント関連に関しては、サービスレベルが低く感じられました。 ・事前のメールでの問い合わせに対して、一切回答を頂けませんでした。 ・電話で問い合わせようとしたところ、有料のナビダイヤルで驚きました。

＜良かったこと＞ 泊まったのは和室（7.5帖）の部屋でした。ベビーと一緒に利用しました。 結論から書くと、食事はとても素晴らしいし（本当に）、館内もきれいで温泉も気持ちよく、 湯上がりにアイスキャンディーやお水/特別な飲み物（名前忘れました）も無料で用意されてました。 ＜ちょっと思ったこと＞ ●部屋の広さ 人によっては、この広さで十分、と言うかもしれませんが、我々家族には窮屈でした。 ただ、お部屋の7.5帖のスペース以外はスペースがなく、連泊するのは難しく感じました。 クローゼットがとても小さいので、機内に搭載できるキャリーバッグじゃないと 持ってきたら部屋に広げることになってしまいます。 ●接客 ベビーがいるので、もし可能であれば、アーリーチェックインが可能かお電話で伺いました。 そしたら、「アーリーチェックインは無理ですねー」という回答でした。 飾る言葉一切なく、上記の言葉だけです。 その次に「まあ、14時半ならわかりませんが」とのこと。 とても大型ホテルのお電話対応とは思えないお電話でした。行く前からがっかりしてしまいました。 カウンターの方も人によりますが、ややそっけない感じの接客も見えたりしてました。 （もちろん素敵な方もおりましたが） ●食事の時間指定 コロナの対応などもあるかと思うので、時間指定はOKですが、 もし、遅れた場合はどうしますか？と訪ねたところ、 「5分ならいいですが、それ以上は難しいですね。」と言われました。 ご飯の時間に合わせなければならないのは正直旅行に行って大変でした。 もう少し猶予があるか、時間変更を何分前までならできる、などのコミュニケーションがほしかったです。 次は別の宿泊施設に行こうと思います。

お値段なりかもしれませんが、1人旅、ビジネスでお手頃に泊まる分には宜しいかと思います。 気になる点は、もう少し明るい照明であればなと思うところと、部屋のシャワーの温度調節は注意書きがある通り微調整は必要ではありますね。 良い点では、従業員の皆さんは感じが良い印象でした。 １階に温泉もあり入りましたが、温度も丁度良く疲れも取れました。 また、🚗で行きましたが1泊100円と格安でしたので有難い！助かりました。 また機会があれば利用させて頂きたく思います。

昭和レトロ感満載な、懐かしい旅館でした。 とても綺麗なのに、気取っておらず、リラックスできます。 お食事もお風呂もとても良かったですが、群を抜く感じはありませんでした。 気になった点 ・2階のお部屋でしたが、変な臭いが充満していました。窓を開けて空気清浄機を回しましたが、朝まで気になる程でした。 ・羽織は毎回洗濯していないのでしょうか？どなたか着用されたのでは？と思う匂いがするので、使いませんでした。 ・縁側の椅子の布が破れていたり、座卓上のメニューファイルが破れていたりかなり古かったりしました。小さなところは都度メンテナンスできるのに…と残念でした。 ・備え付けの化粧水や乳液が、全く用を足さないくらい乾燥します。ご自身のものをお持ちになった方が良いと思います。私は、レディースセットのようなパックプランにしたのでアメニティーに別に付いてきましたが、1回分なので朝の分はやはり必要でした。 ・一見すると気付きませんが、玄関を入って右手奥に段ボールが積まれていて残念でした。 ・部屋の窓から見えるお庭が、ホースが剥きでていたり、残念な感じです。ロビーから見る景色は素敵でした。 良かった点 ・スタッフの皆さんがとても気さくで親切です。 ・いつもゴミ一つ落ちていないくらい、綺麗に掃除されています。 ・空港からのシャトルバスのバス停からも、市電の駅からの徒歩圏内です。緊急事態宣言中で巡回バスが運休だったため、トラピスチヌ修道院へは、タクシーで1500円ほどで行きました。函館駅周辺からよりだいぶ近い感じがしました。

This hotel is located at the Yunokawa area in Hakodate. It's reachable within 20 minutes from Hakodate bus terminal. There are three buses serving this area: 95, 95A and 96. There is also a direct bus from/to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto station with a fee of ¥900/person/way. We booked a Japanese-style room with a private onsen bath facing the ocean. The view is beyond our expectation. The room is super spacious - consisting of the entrance area, sleeping area, living room, a toilet, and bath area. They are still using the actual key instead of keycards. They served some snacks, tea, free beers, bottled water and cold tea. The room we booked also provided halfboard (dinner and breakfast). The food was amazing with many varieties, including our favourites - king crabs. All was served in a buffet style so you can eat this crab as much as you want.

五稜郭までは歩いて１０分くらい位の場所にホテルである。 【部屋】 部屋は広々ではないがビチビチでもなく、普通のビジネスホテル。 風呂、トイレ、洗面台セットのユニット。 ハンガーは８本、二人であれば十分か。そこに大浴場へ行く際のバックが 掛けられていた。 アメニュティは歯ブラシ・ブラシ・ひげそりと標準的な物は備わっていた。 バゲージラック、空気清浄機もあり。またWIFIも使える。 【大浴場】 洗い場は１０くらい、湯船も１０人くらいは入れるだろうか。 【朝食】 １階のレストランにて。 「函館の朝食は豪華」で有名なのだが、ここも結構豪華。 小鉢、鉢の料理多いので、皿は１枚でいいかも。 朝食会場だがチェックイン時チラッと見た感じでは広いの？という感じであったが朝食に出向くと見えていた奥にも席があり、混雑時間帯避ければ待たずに席確保できそう。 ルームキーを受付で提示してトレイを取ってという感じなのだが、カードでのチェック？？？という感じ。 「食事中」のカード席において。このカードはトレイに。 でも、他のホテルのように受付でカード渡せばいいんじゃない、トレイにカードちょっと面食らった。（ほかの法華倶楽部でもこのスタイルだっけ？） 【その他】 部屋は五稜郭方面と市街地方面に面する建て方であるが、この時期は五稜郭方面が良いのだが私たちは市街地方面、「はずれ？」であった。 どうしたら五稜郭方面に？ ちなみにコップは冷蔵庫の中にあった。 風呂に入れ墨者が！左横腹と右肩に。たぶん日本人！！ 部屋にはユニットバスあるのだから、チェックイン時に説明を！！ 皆が健やかに過ごせるホテルにしてほしい。

お部屋（臥牛亭）和室を予約したのですが、ベットルームが別にあり思っていたより広く快適でした。 予約の際にバイキングでない所を探しました。朝夕とも美味しく頂けました。鮑の踊り焼き、牛ステーキはライブ感あり。 朝は和定食かバイキングを選べましたが和定食にしました。 朝夕とも食事処花舞でいただきましたが、フロアスタッフの気配り、心配りがすばらしかったです。 そして一番感動したのはスタッフの方、全員の気持ちの良い挨拶です。

What a wonderful experience! We were amazed at the selection of fresh seafood for breakfast and dinner. This is by far the best hotel seafood buffet for sure! The facilities are clean, rooms are spacious and tidy, overall ambience is great! Onsen is nice and relaxing. It is a bit far away from JR Hakodate station and does require you to either take taxi or bus. The hotel was offering a small hotel shuttle at the time which was nice however must reserve with the hotel before hand. The lady driving the shuttle bus was very nice and even gave us some traveling tips for the local area! Thank you! Special thanks to Mr. Yoshida-san at the front reception. He had noticed that one of the shuttle times we had reserved was not available that day, so he took extra effort to make sure we made it to the earlier shuttle time to make it back to the hotel. Thank you Yoshida-san! I really would like to come back and stay at Umi to Akari soon. It was a wonderful experience! Wish the best of success to this hotel!
