Ulasan Hotel Indigo Hakone Gora, an IHG Hotel

Spacious and clean room, with welcoming service! We drove to Hotel Indigo Hakone Gora by ourselves arriving rather late in the evening, but still we were warmly greeted by their staff, who followed us to the car park and helped us take our luggages. Check in was smooth and we were in our room in no time! We asked the staff if there was any restaurant nearby and they printed out pages of different selections around the area! Since it was getting late, we didn't bother to go out for dinner, so we gave the hotel's restaurant a try, which quality took us by surprise! Dinner was pretty close to a fine dining experience, with good quality food and fair price - highly recommend. Breakfast was at the same restaurant and buffet style! Yum! The room was clean and spacious, however, the onsen was semi open and we were a bit worried people outside may see us. There won't be people walking right outside, but still fairly close to the gas station/ convenience store across the street - may have to put in consideration on which room type you'd choose.

Great hotel with outstanding service!! Shuttle service provided to Odawara train station. One slight negative feedback is that their local shuttle service ends at 6pm from Gora station which is quite early, many tourists have to share cab together from Gora.

Really nice hotel. Some rooms have a private onsen bath which make it really great. Location is about 1 km from Gora station, but the hotel will provide shuttle to/from Gora station.

We like the private bathtub inside the room. Service is good and hotel provide free transport to Giza station. There have public foot hot spring.

Nice view from the room can see the river next to it and the onsen is so good; clean and tidy

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient for exploring the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

It's a nice hotel to stay with family with kids 4 & 6. With the in-room hot spring, we don't need to go to the public one and can enjoy the privacy. However, it doesn't have many choices of restaurants nearby.

It's up on the hill. I would say it's awesome for family traveling and it provides outstanding service

Bad experience with this hotel, I booked 2 nights and after my first night I need to clear up my room and wait for the second night. The staff forced us to pay extra 30% to leave at 12:00. Ridiculous experience with indigo hotel

It is great room with the connecting door. We are glad and love private bath and unisex bath. We will be back again. Dinner and breakfast are great. The beef are so delicious.

Absolutely love the shower area! Amenities were comprehensive and environment was very chill and relaxing Nothing much to shop nearby, great for outside urban life seekers for a 1-2 nights stay!

The room was very nice with river view and private onsen. Just 2-3 min walk from the bus stop, hotel shuttle available to main station. Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel facilities and service were great although it took some time to go to the hotel.

The hotel is on a hill and extremely difficult to navigate to if you’re driving - be warned if you are planning to travel Hakone by car. Would not recommend to drive, just take the hotel shuttle to/from Gora and Odawara. Otherwise, very clean hotel with decent service. Private onsen in your room, public onsen is mixed gender and requires swimsuits.
