Hotel Holiday Inn di Hamburg

Love my space and the whole hotel. Food was great - same items but tastes great. Very accessible to my office, warm smile from the reception team. Very new hotel I heard hence the hotel is looking fabulous. Will definitely come back.

Good hotel with strategic location for my family and I. Out of the city but not too far. Downside is the AC does not seem to be working, but overall stay is good.

Was here for three nights this past weekend. The ‘superior’ room was looking very tired indeed, with a fair few carpet stains. The small corner shower had a shower curtain so it keeps touching you as you’re moving about. All of this was kinda forgivable as it was a drinking weekend and I just needed somewhere to rest my head. However, the service was really odd. I’ve stayed at the hotel a few times before and never had an issue but this time there were a couple of new guys who act like doing the very basics of their jobs is an absolute burden to them. It was vaguely comical dealing with adult men who were acting like sulky teenagers. On Sunday night I went to the bar to grab a drink before my friend came down and stood in front of one man (the only one there) who ignored me, reclined and texted on his phone. When I asked if I could get a drink he looked like I’d asked for a kidney. He asked what I wanted and I said a glass of wine before he said no (there was a bottle open about a foot away from him) but that I could choose a small soft drink. I did and he gave it to me unopened and without a bottle opener. Bizarre. The experience at check it was similarly odd.

We stayed a week while visiting our son. Breakfast was good to excellent. Staff serving very good. The bar /restaurant at the hotel was good. Prices were similar to outside. The room furnishings were ok/budget quality. No drawers for clothes. The bed was comfortable. Convenient to Berliner Tor subway station (8-10 minute walk). During our stay there was road construction all around which made access from the subway a little challenging. I would stay again. Budget hotel at a convenient location for us.

I stayed there two nights during the weekend of Hamburg's marathon and the stey was very fine. Clean room, very calm hotel (or good insonorisation) good looking decoration. Friendly staff. The location is ideal: close to many shops, easy to reach from the city center/main station and very calm street. I did not have breakfast on site, but it looked very nice for the price (eggs, different breads, pastries, fruits, yoghurt,... it had everything). The only negative thing would be that the room I had was a bit tiny -but perfect for one person. And it had no table, which made working in my room complicated. I would definitely recommend it.

Is my first time to this hotel in Hamburg. Excellent hotel with excellent location located at the city center,extremely clean & comfortable. The staff is very helpfully. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody!
