Location is good which is just two minutes walk from train station. Breakfast buffet is worth to have it, there are different selections of food and a very nice coffee to start a day. Friendly staff in reception but the waiting time for check in is a bit long , maybe it was the peak time. A bit disappointed of No slipper was offered in my room. Overall it is a nice hotel which can be recommended.

We had to cancel our booking for the Premier Inn next door due to train problems travelling up from Cologne. Premier Inn allowed cancellation up to 6pm on day of arrival, which is an excellent forward thinking move by them especially in the context of where we are in the world today. Back to the hotel we stayed in. I was impressed that they would donate the cost of the room service to charity if you chose not to take it. They then offered you a free drink if you took that option but we chose to donate that as well. COVID rules in place and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was a good size and I liked the winged back reading chair, as well as the complimentary tea and coffee in the room. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of hot and cold buffet. The staff were friendly and ready to help especially the breakfast team. We usually use the IBIS hotel directly across the road on our visits to Hamburg but cant see us returning there if the level of service here is maintained. Value for money as well. Cracking location for the Millerntor stadium and the decent bars and restaurants in the vicinity

A very comfortable hotel with very friendly management and staff who (on our visit) were more than willing to try to make sure that our stay was a very pleasant one. Very spacious rooms that were clean with comfortable beds. Which can be at times one of the biggest factors about a hotel. As can be expected the hotel is non-smoking but there is a garden to the rear which despite being surrounded by tall buildings felt very peaceful at times. The only drawback to the hotel is that there is no lift and the entrance itself is up a set of steps. So depending on what floor that you are on it could be quite a little trek up the quirky spiral staircase. The hotel itself is on a quiet street even though when you get to the end of the street you hit the hustle and bustle of shops, food establishments, the theatre, bars, banks, a number of different ATM’s (some free to use while others charge for withdrawing cash) and the police station, it is like you’ve crossed between 2 different worlds. The hotel in ideal location because situated just around the corner from the hotel on the same main road as the shops, choice of food establishments, theatre, and the police station is a number of public transport connection stops meaning that you are free to explore the city and travel with relative ease. If you are planning on using public transport to get around the city then ensure that you purchase the “Hamburg Card” which gives unlimited travel on all HVV public services (bus and trains) including the harbour ferries. The card even includes travel to and from Hamburg Airport (providing you have a valid card), so when you consider that the average price of a taxi to or from the airport is around €35 - €40 each way then the savings start to add up straight away. The card can be bought for just a single traveller or valid for a group of up to 5 people regardless of the ages of travellers. Very nice hotel with a perfect location in St Pauli just a street from Reeperbahn. It gives you a nice B&B-feeling. The room we got was quite small but otherwize comfortable with nice beds. Didn't like the pillows which were too thin. Very calm area. Good breakfast and worth the price. Walking distance to most places we wanted to visit.

Als Alleinreisende war ich vom 27.-29.12.2022 zum ersten Mal in dem Hotel. Ich hatte bei einer Anreise um ca. 10.30 Uhr die Möglichkeit, meinen Koffer in einem Raum unterzustellen. Check-In-Zeit 14.00 Uhr. Ca. 13.30 Uhr kam ich wieder ins Hotel um einzuchecken. Etwas unflexibel in der Zeit - es wurde tatsächlich bis 13.50 Uhr gewartet und mit den Check Inns begonnen - vermutlich, weil sich schon einige Gäste zum Check-Inn versammelt hatten. Vorher wurde gesagt, dass ein Check-Inn erst um 14.00 Uhr beginnt. Ok. Es war bekannt - aber etwas mehr Flexibilität in den letzten 30 Minuten wären schon nett gewesen. Das Zimmer war absolut in Ordnung und sauber. Eine Flasche Wasser stand zum Preis von 4,50 EUR bereit, die man bitte an der Rezeption zahlen sollte. Das Angebot habe ich nicht wahrgenommen. Ich hatte ein Zimmer zur Straße und die Fenster sind absolut dicht und man hat nicht wirklich etwas von der Straße mitbekommen. Das Bad ist sehr sehr klein, aber ausreichend. Überdenken sollte man bei einer Renovierung mal, ob ein Duschvorhang noch zeitgemäß ist. Nicht sehr angenehm, wenn der Vorhang einen ”verfolgt” ;-) Ich hatte ohne Frühstück gebucht und am Morgen gefragt, wo ich mir evtl. an einem Automaten einen Kaffee ziehen könnte. Den durfte ich mir kostenfrei am Buffet holen - toller Service! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

Wer nicht zuviel erwartet ist hier gut aufgehoben! Es gibt kein Frühstück. Aus- Einchecken problemlos und freundlich. Die Gänge sind eng und düster. Die Zimmer OK, die Betten super, Bad OK. Es gibt wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten, d.h. Man lebt aus dem Koffer und der liegt am Boden. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und die Öffentlichen sind gut erreichbar.
